Came in today and was approached by just the SWEETEST couple that have owned the place for the last 12 years. Ordered 3 breakfast burritos and they even allowed us to try the bean soup and the split pea, which were delicious! Well seasoned and just great flavor overall. As for the burritos, they were delicious and perfectly sized! I loved how the ingredients were mixed / distributed evenly so that I got a bite of everything at the same time. You can tell that they pay attention to detail and that they freshly make their food. They even sell the ham bones from the ham that goes into the burritos for your dogs! read more

Tried the breakfast burrito and oh my goodness !!! First of all the burrito is stuffed with so much hash brown, eggs, and real HAM !!! Definitely worth every penny. We tried ham and scram for our staff meeting, I got the breakfast bowl. It was just ok, nothing amazing, but my non pork eating co worker got the turkey sandwich and said it was really good . It looked yummy so I promised myself I would go after work to try it. I arrived at 1:48, the hours are open until 2:00 so I knew I was pushing it but just wanting a cold turkey sandwich should be quick. I approached the door and saw a young man/teen inside, he turned off the lights as I approached and the door was locked. I know it was very close to closing time but still had 12 minutes. Very disappointed! If you close at 2:00, shouldn't you be open and available to your customers until 2:00? Will let my co workers know that we won't be considering Ham and Sram for our future staff meetings. read more

Going straight to the point, the staff was very nice and fast. The place was clean and had seating. There were some parking spots available on a 12pm Saturday. They accept major credit cards and have a early store hours so you can get food before work. Menu easy to read and they have STAMP CARDS! You really can't ask for more. I ordered a regular breakfast burrito (they only have one, unless you want double meat) and pea soup to-go. Their breakfasts burrito was pretty good. Not as good as Nate's Korner, but it has it's own specialty flavor. It comes with generous portions of smoked ham, cheese, hash browns and salsa on the side. Salsa was a little bit spicy but savory as well that complemented the smokiness of the burrito. They wrapped it up very securely which I appreciate because some burritos just fall apart after a few bites. I couldn't really tell if there were eggs or bell peppers in it, but who cares. It's still good. About the same size as Chipotle. Tastes great reheated in the microwave the next day too! I also ordered the split pea soup because I love pea soup made of ham bones. Pea soup was delicious. Better than mom's. It was thick but smooth and had a couple chunks of ham. (They also sell ham bones!) They put it in about a 16oz styrofoam container. The best part was that they filled it to the brim and didn't skimp. So be careful when you open it because it'd definitely filled to the top and is hot! They even included two oyster crackers for your soup, a plastic spoon and a generous amount of napkins. All organized in a neat paper lunch bag. I'll definitely come again if just to try all the soups and fill out the stamp card! read more

Ham N Scram is my favorite breakfast burrito place in southern California. I usually order the double meat burrito, which has ham in addition to the usual ingredients. The gooey melted cheese brings a nice contrast to the hashbrowns, eggs and ham in the burrito. Bacon is in there as well. The portions are decent. Staff is nice. I called my order in on Wenesday morning when they just opened at 5:30am. I ordered 2 original break burritos and two 2 break bowls without hashbrowns (keto friendly). Love that they can accommodate. I've only been here twice so far as I'm still somewhat new to the area but this place is FABULOUS! Both times we came here, my fiancé and I both got the breakfast burritos - I got the original, he had the double meat and they were both delicious! The rest of their menu sounds absolutely amazing as well and eventually, we will absolutely branch out and try more items here, but both times we have been here we were craving hearty breakfast burritos and this place did NOT disappoint. In addition to the fabulous food, the service was superb. The owner helped us at the register and he was upbeat, friendly, patient and incredibly helpful as we asked for recommendations and had a few questions on our first visit. The burrito was nicely sized and everything was cooked perfectly. The only downside was the kids plate, my 5 year old finished it and wanted more, next time I'll have to order him a regular plate. Owner, all around nice guy, funny, and attentive, Forest is the unforgettable guy you will see pacing back and forth as you walk in the door. He is clearly on a mission. That mission is to make you smile. Michigan must be some kind of ham mecca, because that is where Forest hails from. I have no doubt that was the sole thing on his mind when he dropped roots here 6 years ago (2010), a way to introduce a truly great ham experience to us deprived West Coasters. That and maybe to get away from the snowy winters. I love his ham. It comes from Michigan, if I remember correctly. It certainly isn't the local ham we buy. So, if you love it that much, why not marry it? Yeah? With this ham, I thee wed. Mind you, not only is his ham, tender, and so smoky good, you will need to bring a towel with you to wipe up the drool, this ham is the critical ingredient for making his homemade soups, sammies, and breakfast burritos. He creates a savory pea soup with finesse, an easy winner in a soup-off with the familiar Anderson's Pea Soup. He also gave us a sample of his 3-bean, equally nice. And the rest of the week he features some ham-based, some not, homemade soups that scream of comfort food. You might have already guessed, I am a soup lover and he has my vote hands down. And then there are those ham bones he sells. Of dinosaur proportion (the bones are poorly trimmed from a butcher's perspective, but still laden with generous chunks of meat from mine), he sells them for a mere $7.25, after he is finished hand slicing the meat off. I, of course, came away with two of those bones to create my own brilliant ham broth and homemade bean or split pea soup. This is not a place for a leisurely breakfast/lunch. There are only 4 tables, 8 chairs inside. No tables outside. And the small parking lot leaves a lot to be desired. The good thing is, good food like this makes for an easy to-go item. Seriously the BEST breakfast burritos I've ever had! I came here with my little cousin after multiple friends told me about how delicious the breakfast burritos here were. It was a Saturday afternoon, and after we arrived it started to get packed. The restaurant is really small and only had 4-5 tables with only a couple seats per table. The service here is phenomenal, and the owner is so inviting and friendly. I ordered the double meat breakfast burrito ($10), and my little cousin ordered the regular breakfast burrito ($8.75). My burrito was stuffed full of ham, hashed browns, eggs, and a whole lot of fixings. I devoured that thing within 5-10 minutes (she kept asking me questions, so it left less time to chew). It was a good size, so my cousin only ate half of hers. She really enjoyed her burrito also. Do yourself a favor and come here if you want an amazing breakfast burrito. I know I'll be coming back! Very dry breakfast burrito. I got an original breakfast burrito to go and he said it came with salsa on the side. I asked for sour cream as well and he said they don't have any. I asked for a chipotle ranch on the side instead. I got home and there was no salsa, big bummer because I love salsa with my breakfast burrito. In my opinion that's what makes the breakfast burrito.
