Our experience with Keyrenter Provo was disappointing. The information on their website and other…read morerental listings (apartments.com, Zillow, etc.) was not consistent with the actual property. The home we toured was advertised as having access to all three floors (including a finished basement) and a large two-car garage, but after viewing it in person and talking with management, we learned only the main and upper floors were included in the rent -- nearly 1,000 sq. ft. less than listed -- and the garage wasn't even accessible due to a curb blocking the entrance. When we asked for clarification, communication was slow and unclear. The rent price also wasn't adjusted to reflect the much smaller space and lack of garage access. On top of that, their pet/ESA approval process was overly complicated and handled through a confusing third-party site, which made the process frustrating and time-consuming. They have many good reviews, so we were surprised and disappointed by our experience. The property itself looked nice, but the inconsistencies between the listings and reality, along with poor communication and lack of transparency, made us decide not to move forward.

    Vision Real Estate

    Vision Real Estate

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!…read more I would strongly recommend avoiding Vision Real Estate if at all possible. Our experience with Vision Real Estate has been nothing short of a nightmare from the day we moved in. When we arrived at the house at the beginning of August, the AC was completely broken and the temperature inside was close to 90 degrees. I was 8 months pregnant at the time, and moving into a house that hot was miserable. The most unbelievable part is that this clearly had never been checked before move-in. Thankfully our neighbors were kind enough to help us figure out the issue, and we ended up having to purchase a part ourselves just to get the AC running. Trying to get reimbursed from Vision Real Estate for something that never should have been our responsibility in the first place turned into an exhausting and drawn-out process. The condition of the home at move-in was unacceptable. The house was filthy -- dog hair everywhere, thick dust, cobwebs, and a dirty garage. Outside was just as bad. The lawn looked like it hadn't been maintained for weeks, weeds were completely overgrown, and there was dog waste all over the backyard. Inside the home there was so much dog hair throughout the bathrooms, shower, and floors that the shower drain wouldn't even properly drain. When we submitted a maintenance request for the shower not draining, Vision Real Estate charged us $175 even though the hair was clearly left from the previous tenant and the property had not been cleaned well or inspected before we moved in. Being charged for something that existed before we even moved in is completely unacceptable and shows how little accountability this company takes for the condition of their properties. The issues didn't stop there. Their online portal was down when we applied, which resulted in us being charged twice. Getting our money back took far longer than it should have and required constant follow-ups on our end. Vision Real Estate has no problem nickel-and-diming tenants for every possible fee, but they take zero accountability for their own mistakes. If you submit a maintenance request, you're given an 8am-4pm window. If you need to reschedule, they charge you $25. Because of this, we've taken entire days off work just to make sure we're available. On one occasion we did exactly that -- only for no one to show up and we didn't even receive a phone call or update. That meant losing a full day of work for nothing and having to start the process all over again. At this point we have spent hundreds of dollars out of our own pocket fixing issues that should have been handled before we ever moved in. We ended up hiring a professional cleaning company on our end because it was still so dirty. I ended up filling up 3 small grocery bags full of dog hair the second day of living here! The lack of professionalism, organization, and accountability from Vision Real Estate is unbelievable. It genuinely feels like once they have your lease signed, they simply do not care about the condition of the property or the experience of their tenants. Renters deserve better than this. I truly wish I had read reviews like this before signing a lease with Vision Real Estate. Save yourself the stress, time, and money and look elsewhere.

It is impossible to reach a person. There are no return phone calls, no return emails. They are completely ghosting me. Kelli McCullough mishandled my exit and deposit return. Then she stopped responding. It took a few months to discover she was no longer with the company. I finally heard from Richard Brimhall, my original contact for leasing the property and he was very proactive and communicative. We discussed the deposit discrepancy and he strongly implied he was handling things. He then ghosted me. I have been sending emails every few weeks for months. I have called the office in Provo but only get a receptionist that is of no help. Do NOT use this company. Sabrina H.

Do not allow your child to sign a contract with this company if they live in Utah County. They do not have your child's best interest at all. It is truly about the money for them. They basically called my child a liar when she contacted them about her roommate which broke her lease by running a business out of her condo allowing strangers in at all times( men and women). They said her roommate denied it so my child was lying. Safety, they could care less about your child's safety. They suck up all the money and leave their renters out to dry. Also if you think you have any input as a parent regarding what is occurring they could care less about you. They will not share any of the rules or regulations with you, only the child who signed the lease. Be ready to hire a lawyer if anything goes wrong. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. I AM SURE MY CHILD IS NOT THE ONLY ONE THEY HAVE PUSHED ASIDE FOR THEIR OWN MONETARY GAIN. In my opinion Greed driven, Self Righteous, Money hungry organization!!!!!They have the monopoly on the leases in the Provo area and they know how to intimidate and manipulate the people who rent from them. The unit was THRASHED when we moved in from previous tenants and he promised to paint walls, and even redo the nasty stained linoleum flooring, he made many promises that were never fulfilled. Our upstairs neighbors who had been there for about 5 years even moved out specifically because of Bobby's lack of professionalism as a landlord of his own property units. We were smart enough to do the check in list and take before pictures of the damages that were present when we moved in. We moved out 3 months ago and spent 5 days cleaning the unit after moving. At the time of check out, Cathy came in and treated my husband like absolute scum. She talked down to him insulted him, was absolutely disrespectful. We have been waiting to receive some of the deposit back (which.is obviously why we worked so hard cleaning, scrubbing walls, floors, carpets cupboards, etc. but knew that there were a few things that would be deducted from the deposit) and just today, 3 months later, we find out that bobby completely remodeled the apartment and used our 1,000.00 deposit to do so. Maintenance requests took weeks of reminding bobby and most of the time were never conducted. Key tip for future tenants: be mindful whether or not your moving into a property that is just managed by cathy and bobby Orehoski, or is it one the bobby himself owns, take pictures and make copies of your check in list, you'll probably need it.

I live on one of their properties in Rexburg Idaho, and I'm posting anonymously because of it, but this might be the worst managing company of all time. 1. They're incredibly cheap. In every one of their places I've lived in so far, it seems like they hire management and maintenance from off the streets, so they feel underqualified and stuff never gets done. 2. Maintenance is terrible. The carpets are always coming up, the floors are always permanently stained no matter what you do, the counters are beat up, and paint is chipping off the walls. 3. The internet might be even worse. It routinely goes out for 1+ hours, and being in school, it's especially amazing when your internet goes out right while you're working on homework. 4. Their visitor parking is retarded. I'm sorry, what do you mean I can't park at a friend's house for more than an hour lest I receive a $100 fine? Are we just supposed to watch 60% of a movie and leave? 5. The parking lots themselves are awful. It feels like infrastructure created in 1868 back when horses were the primary mode of transportation and Henry ford wasn't a glimmer in his mom's eye. The spots are always too small and the spaces to drive between cars even smaller. Anytime you want to get out of the car, you have to crawl out of the sunroof. If you don't have a sunroof? Better hope you're anorexic. 6. The showers are always too short and they treat you like you're a bumbling retard when the pilot light on the water heater goes out. The toilets are too shallow so if you happen to be a guy with any length of testicle, your balls are going to hit the waterline. 7. The amenities are terrible. No hot tubs, no pools, you hardly even get a washing machine and dryer in half of these complexes. I guess you can count a TV from 2004, a microwave, an oven, and a bed that makes it feel like you're climbing Everest if you're any height under 7', them *maybe* you have some amenities.
