While there are issues I have about them that relate to the COVID-19 pandemic, I will only talk about my experiences before. We had a work order for 5 months that they seemed to lose or forget about because every time we asked about it, they had no idea. I'm reposting this review, it's the same as the one I made on Google, but I can't stress enough how much you need to avoid Redstone. I live on one of their properties in Rexburg Idaho, and I'm posting anonymously because of it, but this might be the worst managing company of all time. 1. They're incredibly cheap. In every one of their places I've lived in so far, it seems like they hire management and maintenance from off the streets, so they feel underqualified and stuff never gets done. 2. Maintenance is terrible. The carpets are always coming up, the floors are always permanently stained no matter what you do, the counters are beat up, and paint is chipping off the walls. 3. The internet might be even worse. It routinely goes out for 1+ hours, and being in school, it's especially amazing when your internet goes out right while you're working on homework. 4. Their visitor parking is retarded. I'm sorry, what do you mean I can't park at a friend's house for more than an hour lest I receive a $100 fine? Are we just supposed to watch 60% of a movie and leave? 5. The parking lots themselves are awful. It feels like infrastructure created in 1868 back when horses were the primary mode of transportation and Henry ford wasn't a glimmer in his mom's eye. The spots are always too small and the spaces to drive between cars even smaller. Anytime you want to get out of the car, you have to crawl out of the sunroof. If you don't have a sunroof? Better hope you're anorexic. 6. The showers are always too short and they treat you like you're a bumbling retard when the pilot light on the water heater goes out. The toilets are too shallow so if you happen to be a guy with any length of testicle, your balls are going to hit the waterline. 7. The amenities are terrible. No hot tubs, no pools, you hardly even get a washing machine and dryer in half of these complexes. I guess you can count a TV from 2004, a microwave, an oven, and a bed that makes it feel like you're climbing Everest if you're any height under 7', them *maybe* you have some amenities. read more

I moved a family member into one of Redstone's apartments. The check in process was unclear. Keys were to be picked up more than a mile away at a different apartment complex. I never saw the actual apartment offices open. I thought we would die on the stairs. The apartment set up was poorly designed for 6 people. It must have originally designed for 3-4. The rickety staircase finally shut the building down, but not because the management heeded the city's citation. I moved our family member out after they gave them less than 12 hour notice. Contract breaking was a fiasco. Redstone is messy to work with, unprofessional, and unreachable. Don't sign if they are managing the complex. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I lived at CollegePlace apartments in Provo, and they messed up my billing, causing an $800 bill to be sent to collections. You won't be able to get in contact with management or the people who actually do the accounting, so you'll need to visit the office in person and hound them. I wish I could leave a negative rating! AVOID REDSTONE AT ALL COST!!!!! (unless you want to be sent to COLLECTION) My lease ended in Feb 28, 2024, so I gave them my moveout notice in December 27, 2023. I came to the office and asked if they got it, they said yes. After moving out I came back multiple times to make sure I don't owe anything, the lady was probably sick of me as I came to ask about the balance too many times. I came in another time in March 2024 to write a check of final amount. I even left my phone number and new address but I guess that lady never cared about me travelling to their office though I don't live nearby. I came back in June 2024 as it seems like my checked didn't get cashed, and I met new manager. Days later I called them just to find out my account got sent to collection. from less than 90 bucks to over 16 hundreds!?!? They had my notice on Jan 17 2024(?) and they could not send last statement to my current address(?) Now I have to get this resolved with the collection company because someone didn't do their job. I wasted time (and gas) to visit their office no less than 5 times after I moved out and still got this. Speechless. read more

Redstone's model is to poorly manage properties and then fine student tenants for dirt and damages that existed at the time the tenants moved in. When the tenants move out, their deposit is not returned in full due to false accusations of damage or insufficient cleaning, even though the tenant provided dated photographic evidence and 6 witnesses proving the wall damage existed 20 months before. In our experience, Redstone rented an apartment without sufficient smoke detectors. Our experiences with 2 different Redstone managed properties was negative and expensive. Avoid Redstone if it does not already have a monopoly on student housing in your area. Chances are, more expensive rent at another property will cost you less after Redstone adds on multiple fees and charges for failed cleaning checks and is famous for never returning the full deposit. read more

They have fees upon fees upon fees upon fees. STAY AWAY. Encourage your student to stay ANYWHERE that is not owned by Redstone. These guys are theives. My second son just sold his contract. He is being charged a $250 'transfer' fee. When I called to find out what that is, they explained that it is a 'standard practice' across the industry. I am writing this so that people can at least be educated on what you are getting here. CollegePlace, managed by RedStone Residential as per it's website is supposed to be "student living in luxury." To be fair, I find the room sizes to be adequate, and while the rent prices are reflective of this "luxury living", the rest of it is not. As a note, our most recent rent check paid was $655 for a single room in a 6 BR unit w parking. We initially had two issues to resolve with this property that seemed pretty simple that were UNBELIEVEABLY difficult to fix. First, there were nails in the living room floor -sticking up. My daughter's roommate filed a maintenance request on Nov 5th, 2021. As of Dec 16th and MULTIPLE outreach attempts this was still not fixed. We were advised by CollegePlace that they have not completed the repair as "they could not find a carpet to match." So the tenants should just walk on nails for a month? We found plenty of carpet options in stock at Home Depot up the street? The 2nd issue was the treadmills at their fitness center. When we selected this housing option for our student athlete daughter, we saw the fitness center and at the time, there were 3 functional treadmills. After signing the lease we advised that there was an electrical storm in July and College Place did not have circuit protectors on the machines so they got fried. Their mistake. From Aug- Dec they kept kicking the can and telling us "3-6 weeks to fix this" and lies about the parts shipping -but it never got fixed. So, if you are getting this place for the "amenities," be aware that they don't care if these are actually functional. Where this gets more frustrating is that after dealing with MONTHS of lies by the office I asked to speak with the district manager. While I don't' want to put this person on blast on the internet, Ms. W told me she received a cost of "$10K per treadmill to replace." And that is why they were not replaced. We have a lot of friends in the fitness industry and I ran this by them and they advised that was absolutely outlandish. A new Peloton(top of the line) treadmill costs $2,495! There is NO plausible way that these treadmills were quoted at 10K each. I am just putting this out there to show you how the lies keep going with even higher level management. I also asked this manager (4x) to provide me with a copy of the invoice she alleged she received however (much to no one's shock) that never came. While I understand parts may be on order - there is no reason that they could not have purchased ONE treadmill to to have available instead of having non-functional treadmills for months on end. I sent them a link to one on Amazon for $400 if they weren't capable of Google searching themselves. It is further frustrating that they thought it was okay to lie (and put that lie in writing!) to me as though I am unaware as to what things cost. This further escalated when I went to BYU's center for mediation to mediate this issue and the mediator told me that "College Place states that they offered to purchase your daughter a pass to a local gym and she said it wasn't good enough." This NEVER happened! When I reached out to Ms.W she stated she "accidently provided incorrect information." Please tell me how a SENIOR manager at Redstone Residential can "accidently" fabricate this story to a BYU mediator! These people have zero morals. To "resolve" this, they gave us a paltry $45 credit on her account for months of dealing with these issues have taken HOURS of my time trying to resolve. They did eventually the carpet and the treadmills - but ask yourself - do YOU want to have to deal with this type of nightmare every time something breaks? College Place is great at collecting the rent - but if you need ANYTHING during your one year stay, be prepared to have to fight tooth and nail for MONTHS to get it fixed. My daughters water heater is on its FOURTH request to be fixed. . So, be aware. You have choices in Provo and if I were you, I wouldn't choose to have to waste hours of your time advocating for things you pay for to get fixed. read more

Predatory student rental terms. 6 months prior to renewal, they will threaten your child and tell them they are going to lose their room for next year over and over until they sign. Even when you find out that you are transferring 4 months before your current lease is up AND you find them a replacement tenant, they force you to pay a $700 cancellation fee. They basically coerce a signature at threat of leaving you without a room 6 months before renewal and don't even give your child a course for remedy. Avoid their properties at all cost. read more

Lived at Liberty on Eighth (a redstone residential property) for a year. Absolute garbage management. The cleaning check lady walked into the vanity area after I (a man) had gotten out of the shower and did not take that as a cue to not be there. I tried to talk to someone about it, but no one would respond to my emails, or calls. It took two weeks before I got any kind of apology. I tried to contact Redstone directly instead of local management and the phone never went through to a human. The pool that was part of the property was closed more often than not. It was eventually empty when the city tested it and deemed it unfit for human use. I don't think the problem was local management, but instead upper management from Redstone as they buy at properties, cut cost and rip off customers. If Redstone owns a property you're considering living at, stay away. read more

I can't say anything worse about our experience. Management and maintenance is horrible. When we first moved in, nothing was cleaned. We let that go because they were under renovations, and short staffed. But then we discovered the dishwasher was full of mold! It took 3 weeks for them to finally come "replace" it, after countless times of being told "I'll be here at 10am tmrw", waiting around, and never having them show. We were originally told they'd give us a new one, but wound up getting a hand-me-down from one of the apartments they were renovating (ours isn't going to be renovated until next year). It's at least not full of mold, but it's old and smells bad, and it seemed like a cheap/convenient way for them to get the problem "solved". Oh, and they still haven't come back to finish attaching it to the counter like they said they would. It also took them 3 weeks to repair a light in the kitchen that wouldn't turn on, so we used a big flashlight to cook our food in the evenings. I have also put in a request for a clogged drain that has yet to be attended to, so (despite using plumber grade "draino" weekly to try to clear it out) we shower with water filled up to our ankles. Before I share the last part, let me add that because of renovations the lot has been FULL of old appliances, countertops, furniture, etc. which has taken up about 10 parking spots and made it really difficult to park! Not to mention they closed down a whole section of the lot to fill up with NEW appliances. There is trash everywhere and glass broken on the concrete (we even found some in our apartment, because you simply can't avoid stepping on it). There are 2 large dumpsters sitting in the lot, so they definitely have the resources to get it cleared out. Finally, last week I spent $250 on fresh groceries, we hadn't gone in a month. I loaded them up in the fridge Thursday morn, and then noticed it wasn't keeping our food very cold. I cranked it to the coldest setting + gave it until the morning to see if it would cool down. Nothing. Our milk was room temp. So early Friday morn I put in a HIGH PRIORITY request to get it replaced. We heard nothing ALL DAY. We resulted to dragging in a fridge from the parking lot in the middle of the night to try to save as many of the groceries as we could, but lost most of them. The freezer was the only thing that stayed cold. What would've happened if they didn't leave the old fridges in the lot? We would've gone all weekend with no food and nowhere to put new groceries. I am usually very forgiving, especially because I know they are renovating + switching things around, I get it. But when it's stuff like this one after another? It's just not ok. So I finally sent an email to the "manager", Amber. I explained everything I just did here, + she didn't reply with any sort of apology or anything. ALL she said was "can you come to the office to discuss your concerns?" Who even knows if she'd be in the office, since you can't get ahold of anyone around here. This is actually the first time I'd heard back from her ever, + I have sent a few calls/emails her way. I usually just get a call from the receptionist instead (who if she's reading this should know we are grateful for her + her help + she hasn't done anything wrong). But either way, we were headed out of town so instead of coming to the office, I emailed her back + asked her to give me a call Mon morn. Well it's Mon and I haven't received an email or a call. Seems like Amber is only up for conversing when it's convenient for her. Provo housing issues seem to grow every year. Owners don't take care of places, managers don't manage, apartments get worse + worse to live in, + prices keep going up + up. I'm tired of it. If you think these things are normal, it's because you've accepted the awful state of provo. THESE THINGS AREN'T NORMAL FOR A PLACE YOU PAY GOOD MONEY TO LIVE IN. TERRIBLE!!! My son had secured a rental agreement back in January 2024. We paid the fees and down-payments and everything. Then on July 8th he got a call claiming that he had marked the 'female' box instead of 'male', which is ridiculous because my husband and I were watching as he filled out the application. They said due to our error (complete Bull__t!) that he DID NOT have a spot for the Fall. I asked to get a copy of their records, and they refused to produce evidence. They blocked us from the website in order to get a copy of the rental agreement! They are completely unethical!!! read more

I would give redstone a 0 if I could. They are incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional in their working with their tennants. They just bought out my apartment complex, and they gave a 2 days to move out right before a holiday weekend due to upcoming rennovations. We had no idea about the rennovations until Thurday night at 5pm when they told us that we needed to be moved out by Saturday. They gave us the option to cancel the rest of our lease if we didn't want to move into another apartment (though they didn't tell us where we would be moving to). However, they used that excuse to get out of the legalities in the previous contract of paying us a $40 moving fee and giving us the 7-day minimum notice. Redstone is a company that will find every loophole they can to get every dollar they can out of their tennants without getting sued, and they have no regard for the well-being and comfort of their paying customers. Needless to say, I will never be living under their management again and I would strongly disuade anyone from doing the same. They will not hesitate to screw you over! :( read more

I have at Courtside for almost 4 years and never had any problems with the place until the recent management (Redstone Residential) took over. Almost daily I receive illiterate emails full of grammatical errors. They are very unprofessional and difficult to read. You would think they would hire someone that knows how to write emails and proofread them before sending them out to hundreds of people. Despite the fact that I am in the middle of a lease, they keep coming up with ways to charge more money. In the 4 years I lived here, parking was free. Management recently decided to charge $10 per month for parking (it was going to be $20 but I'm assuming too many people complained.) For the last 4 years the old management was charging $35 per month for water, sewage and internet. New management is upping it to $70... why...? Many people here don't pick up their dog poop, so management decides to punish ALL of the tenants with dogs (even though some, like myself, do pick up after my dog.) They are going to add on between $7 and $30 per MONTH to our accounts for a "dog feces cleaner." What is the point of a contract if management can change the rate at any moment? If they can change my monthly charges, I should be able to break my lease without penalty. They are basically begging us tenants via email to "re-sign" a new lease in their "new" renovated units. These units consist of a coat of gray paint on the cabinets, new flooring, carpet, and appliances. Not worth an additional $400+ per month. The units were already fine to begin with. The daily emails are almost on the verge of becoming threatening and desperate. The laundry room is a health hazard. It's filthy. I complained and they told me "we are working on getting a cleaner." The old management had a lady clean it weekly. The new management is DESTROYING the good relationship the past management had built with the tenants. Be very careful if you want to live here. Ask about all the fees... and be aware that during your lease, they could change your rate at any time. read more

This is hands down the worst management group known to man. The amount of lawsuits they have had in recent years and still haven't been shut down is baffling. They have displaced thousands of students with little to no notice, essentially making students homeless until they have to find another place owned by them. They are the curse of Utah. Awful reviews on the BBB, awful reviews of them everywhere, yet they are still running. From the mouth of previous employees "they will make us lie day in day out to avoid getting a lawsuit" everyone I have ever known that worked for them have all said that they are made to lie. They will make you pay for every teeny tiny little thing and hide it in the contract, you will be told one amount for the costs and then when comes rent payment, you end up paying way more. Not to mention having to pay utilities twice. AVOID ANY HELL HOLE THAT THEY OWN. This company needs to be run out of business and never come to the light of day again. There are scam artists that run this joke of a business. The communication from them is atrocious, no one ever knows anything. They will never answer your questions, you have to jump through so many hoops to get an answer about anything. Everyone has a different story. One person told us we would get a refund for paying for renters insurance that we didn't need for a year, after all this time and many phone calls being told we would get a refund, they continually tell us they won't refund us. When we first moved into TimpTowers, we were told it was "luxury living" it took almost 2 weeks for someone to come and fix our plugs because none of them worked. Our AC ran non-stop and it took a month of asking before someone came and told us it wasn't working. They made us pay for the damages and didn't even offer to reduce our utilities for their own broken utilities, making us pay almost $400 for utilities, when we never go above $100 at the absolute maximum. Words cannot express just how terrible this company is. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT GIVE THEM A SINGLE CENT OF YOUR MONEY, GIVE THEM AN INCH AND THEY WILL TAKE A MILE. Where to begin?! Our experience was at 158 Elm in Provo; but it seems to be universal no matter which Redstone property you live at. My daughter and all her roommates just moved out because of toxic black mold--one of the parents ended up having to hire a company to come test because Redstone was completely unresponsive for over 6 weeks, as they have been with every issue. Cleaning was not done between student move ins--absolutely filthy at move in. Heat, locks, smoke alarms. AC, blinds and WiFi did not work--for over a month despite multiple requests and promises they gave that they were sending maintenance. After the mold company contacted them directly with the results, they realized that legally they had to fumigate the apartment and ordered the girls out immediately but provided no assistance, monetary or otherwise, to help the girls find accommodations or storage for their belongings. This was during finals and some of the girls had flights out the next morning. The girls all have to have chest X-rays and follow up with doctors. This was so stressful for them and Redstone did not even apologize. We also just found out the previous tenants had the SAME problem and they just painted over it. So disgusted by this unethical company. They are unfortunately very good at acquiring properties but have zero ethics and feel no responsibility to provide a safe place for students to live. Profits above all else is how they run their business. There needs to be some intervention from the local health departments, schools, BBB or city government since they have a monopoly on the housing here and it's clear from all their 1 star reviews that they provide horrible service, not to mention unsafe, unhealthy environments for their tenants. read more

A day after Redstone Residential bought my apartment complex, they emailed me giving me 12 hours to decided whether I want to move out for the summer or move apartments for renovations. Then they proceeded to tell me that I had 48 hours to move out. Legal action was then taken and Redstone was required to give me 7 days instead of 2. Would not recommend. I live at Alpine Village in Provo, Utah, which is owned by Redstone Residential. This is an extremely corrupt company that constantly charges excessive and random fees with no explanation. I've tried reaching out to them about these problems and they either won't respond or will come up with nonsensical excuses. Hundreds of young, broke college students live here and they are constantly trying to take advantage of us and get excessive amounts of money out of us. They are very unethical and borderline illegal. Right now we are dealing with a 300% increase for our utility bill from last month to this month. Never live at one of these apartments. I have lived at two apartments managed by Redstone over the course of three and a half years, and I have had horrible experiences with management at both. These complexes pretend like their apartments are such great quality and the best you'll get in the area. But they are actually very old, things break all the time, and the amenities are pretty trash. Aside from the apartments themselves, I literally cannot say enough bad things about the management. And I know it has to do with Redstone itself because I lived at an apartment complex before it got bought out by Redstone and only started having issues with the management after they got bought. I'm so fed up and appalled by them. For starters, they never fix anything. You can expect any maintenance request to take at least a month, if not two or three to actually get through to anyone. Couple that with apartments that fall apart all the time, and you have a great place to live. They also try to drain every last penny from all of their residents. We have had random charges on our accounts that management is unable to explain and refuses to refund, ridiculous charges for failed cleaning checks no matter how long we spend cleaning ($150 for a dirty countertop, not kidding), and when something goes wrong (as it always does in these complexes), management is slow to respond and unwilling to compensate their residents for the damages or inconveniences. In my first year at Stadium 150, our power went out for three days. Management tried to blame it on us saying that we didn't pay our utilities. Utilities were included in rent and everybody had paid. They then came back and said "whoops, we forgot to pay your power bill, sorry". We were compensated $50 for the inconvenience and to replace all of the food that went bad in both of our fridges. As far as I've heard, almost every single person I talk to who has lived in any one of Redstone's student apartments (any of the Libertys, Glenwood, Stadium 150, Centennial, King Henry, etc.) has stories like this of how horrible the management is. I just don't understand what kind of person you have to be to try and scam college students out of their money. We're already broke and just trying to survive out here as it is. DO NOT live in any of their apartments. They do not deserve your business or your money. They should be getting 0 stars. read more

NEVER LIVE HERE OR ANY REDSTONE MANAGED COMPLEX!!!! This review is as of Dec/1/2020. The management is awful. Just in the last two months I've lived here I've never had as bad of an experience at an apartment than I have now. As of this morning, they booted at least 20 people's cars after zero notice. No email or anything. I called and texted with no answer. Finally went by the office and they said they did "everything they could" to give us notice, which was nothing. Not even exaggerating. Also, our toilet was broken when we got here and was constantly running, and pouring out water. Many, many attempts to reach the management both in person and virtually resulted in absolutely nothing. After a month of this, our bill was an extra $40 for just water. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! Also don't even try to contact them, I've tried email, text, phone call and in person, and have only seen them once. That was today lol. Someone broke into my apartment - I did not key them in at all, I called some people to help me get this person out because I am 5'3 and the man that broke in was 6'4 and like 200lbs. Once he got kicked out he got mad and crashed his car through my building and I got evicted for his mistake even though he BROKE INTO MY APARTMENT WITH INTENTIONS OF HARMING ME. The culture that Redstone Residential is building is something that all companies should get behind. They make it feel like a family and they try really hard to help wherever they can. Shout out to the COO for always helping on a site! I learn something new almost everyday. I love that I can work with the marketing team and that they are open to my suggestions and creativeness. The only downsides to working for the company is that the work/life balance is not very good, benefits are not that great, small company so not much room for growth and they allow some of their employees get away with things they shouldn't. Redstone is the single worst residential company I have ever worked with. They just bought our student apartment complex and are forcing over 200 students to move out or switch apartments to another building with only two days notice. They gave us notice that we had to move after 7:00pm and told us we had to give them an answer about whether we are staying or going before 9:00am the next day!! Every single other leasing office in the area is closed during that time, which is probably why they wanted an answer so fast, to prevent us from signing somewhere else. Then, to add insult to injury, it's Memorial Day weekend, so the Utah Housing authority is closed and there's nothing we can do about it. They are predatory and shady at best. I had the worst experience with Redstone and so have many of my friends. I got $4 back from my $500 security deposit. They sent me the ledger and there were charges on there that didn't make sense. I kept trying to set up a phone call but he was continually out of town and when he did answer he said he was too busy to talk. Sent additional emails and never got a response. Redstone residential finds joy in taking advantage of poor, young college students. They gave us a 2 day notice to vacate our apartment for them to start renovations during Memorial Day weekend, violating the contract we had previously signed with our apartment complex that stated that we were entitled to 7 days written notice before being required to leave our apartment. They kept going back and forth between what we were supposed to do and we received no clear information. One of my roommates was out of town with her family and had to have a friend come and clear out all her stuff for her. She decided to transfer apartments instead of cancel the rest of her lease like the rest of us but they didn't tell her which apartment she would be moving to until 5 days later. 0/10 do not recommend. This company is awful. They took over for our previous landlord and we have had nothing but problems. Redstone started renovations and then dropped the ball. Residents were encouraged to move to remodeled units if they stayed since otherwise they would pay the increased rent even if they did not have a remodeled unit. However, their remodels were rushed - paint peeled, appliances fail, and then their construction company was fired and they have left things in a state of disrepair while they drag their feet in hiring a new construction company. This of course means no fixes to existing problems since no one was available to fix issues. What really emphasizes how scummy they are is how they handle security deposits. You will need to file a notice to get any traction on returns for your security deposits. Despite multiple confirmations - in writing - that we were entitled to full refunds, Redstone has withheld my security and refundable portion of my pet deposit for over two months now. They will not even communicate with their own property manager regarding the status of the checks, and I only received a response when threatening to file in small claims and sending over a notice. I have heard from other residents that they waited for remodels to begin to suddenly make deductions; having heard this multiple times and seen them drag their feet on my own deposits, I recommend finding another place to rent. read more

Redstone Residential should not be licensed to act as a property manager and I would plead with any parent who are sending their children to the Provo/Orem Utah area to steer clear of any properties managed by this company. If it weren't for the deplorable conditions of the home and the fact that my daughters and their roommates had to keep their windows open in the house year round, all of the residents of this house would likely have died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Not only this, but after months of complaining about the home, my daughters finally called the local gas company, when Redstone Residential refused to return their calls for help, and then found out that the home was not safe to live in do to work done by Redstone's "maintenance". After the visit by the gas company, the inspector issued three code violations and immediately turned off the gas to the property. After that, all we got from Redstone Residential was more ignored phone calls and refusals to verify that the code violations were taken care of by licensed contractors. They came and bought the apartment complex I was living at and immediate decided to renovate it and raise rent by $200. There was no option for current residents to not receive the renovations. They gave only 30 days notice that the apartment had to be vacated with no regard for where to go. Simply trying to get more money, don't care about providing reasonable housing for students. Redstone Residential manages Vintage at Canyonlands in St. George, Utah. My daughter lived their while she went to DSU for the 2020-21 school year. This year they set the move out date TWO days before the last day of finals! Where were all the residents supposed to go for the last two days? Canyonlands charged them to stay and then blamed the move out date on DSU. They claimed that DSU changed the end of term date and that was why the contracts were wrong. I called DSU housing and they said they did no such thing. Canyonlands made a mistake and then used it to charge more money. When I talked to CR at Redstone Residential he continued to blame DSU and would take no responsibility for their mistake. They have taken the extra money out of my daughters deposit. What Canyonlands puts on their website and tells you in person is very different than what they put in their lease. One such example was telling us that utilities were charged based on usage. This was absolutely untrue. A flat rate was charged and was much more expensive than they quoted. I could list many more instances like this where fees were more than we were told. Things were often broken, including the washing machines. The office staff was difficult to talk to because they were never in during office hours. The whole place was poorly managed and then Redstone Residential backs up the poor management and mistakes. Terrible company! read more

They gave us 2 days notice to get move out of our apartment so they could renovate. I'm really mad because 2 days isn't enough time to pack and move out. They expected us to respond to an email they sent at 9pm by 9am the next morning or we'd be kicked out of the apartment. So unethical. read more

Don't stay here!! They nickel and dime you. My daughter had to clean the apartment before moving in and when she moved out. About a month after moving out she gets a bill for COVID cleaning!! You will save money paying more a month in rent with another apartment complex!! read more
