    I have been working with PMI Made Simple as a property owner since 2019 for the home that we lived in and moved out of. Since that time we have only had one turnover and great tenants. Rent has been deposited on time and they have stayed on top of maintenance. It has helped me have confidence in my decision to keep my house and rent it. I love the inspection reports, the online portal, and my assigned property manager. I would highly recommend if you have a rental property.

    Our experience with Keyrenter Provo was disappointing. The information on their website and other…read morerental listings (apartments.com, Zillow, etc.) was not consistent with the actual property. The home we toured was advertised as having access to all three floors (including a finished basement) and a large two-car garage, but after viewing it in person and talking with management, we learned only the main and upper floors were included in the rent -- nearly 1,000 sq. ft. less than listed -- and the garage wasn't even accessible due to a curb blocking the entrance. When we asked for clarification, communication was slow and unclear. The rent price also wasn't adjusted to reflect the much smaller space and lack of garage access. On top of that, their pet/ESA approval process was overly complicated and handled through a confusing third-party site, which made the process frustrating and time-consuming. They have many good reviews, so we were surprised and disappointed by our experience. The property itself looked nice, but the inconsistencies between the listings and reality, along with poor communication and lack of transparency, made us decide not to move forward.

If…read moreI could I would write an article for all the local university student newspapers to warn students and others from ever living in an area managed by them. Here's just a few of the many reasons why not to: -A man who worked in their office came in our house when none of us were there to take pictures of our rooms, my roommate walked in on him having no idea when or if he was supposed to come to check out our rooms! -Every time I have tried talking to them on the phone they act short with me and refuse to answer basic questions if it has to do with the reasons for additional charges. For example, I got a call telling me to move out a desk and chair that I had left because it was not provided earlier and she said it needed to be moved out before the next tenant would move in, so then I asked her if I could have to keep paying until my lease ended since there was going to be a new tenant taking over before then, she then responded saying, I cant disclose that information, we are unaware of when she is moving in. So I told her, "but you just said to me that the desk needed to be removed before she moved in which is tomorrow?" -That is a sign that they are trying to get two rents out of two different people at the same time for one room!! -They complained saying that we were never home to do maintenance check, so they constantly left flyers on our door. They only called one out of the three roommates to confirm a date and if that one didnt answer the phone, they would later send an email to all of us saying we never answer the phone. -When we finally did make a confirmed appointment, twice they were hours late to their appointment. Basically I wish I could freaking egg their office and leave flaming bags of dog poop on their porches. If only there was a way for enough people to know about this to BOYCOTT this property management!!!
