THANK YOU!!! Started off well when we lived in a unit that associated brokers managed for a property owner so of…read morecourse response time and maintenance was a priority, but as soon as we transferred to a bigger unit that Bobby Orehoski owned himself, that all changed. The unit was THRASHED when we moved in from previous tenants and he promised to paint walls, and even redo the nasty stained linoleum flooring, he made many promises that were never fulfilled. Our upstairs neighbors who had been there for about 5 years even moved out specifically because of Bobby's lack of professionalism as a landlord of his own property units. We were smart enough to do the check in list and take before pictures of the damages that were present when we moved in. We moved out 3 months ago and spent 5 days cleaning the unit after moving. At the time of check out, Cathy came in and treated my husband like absolute scum. She talked down to him insulted him, was absolutely disrespectful. We have been waiting to receive some of the deposit back (which.is obviously why we worked so hard cleaning, scrubbing walls, floors, carpets cupboards, etc. but knew that there were a few things that would be deducted from the deposit) and just today, 3 months later, we find out that bobby completely remodeled the apartment and used our 1,000.00 deposit to do so. Maintenance requests took weeks of reminding bobby and most of the time were never conducted. Key tip for future tenants: be mindful whether or not your moving into a property that is just managed by cathy and bobby Orehoski, or is it one the bobby himself owns, take pictures and make copies of your check in list, you'll probably need it.

Our experience with Keyrenter Provo was disappointing. The information on their website and other…read morerental listings (apartments.com, Zillow, etc.) was not consistent with the actual property. The home we toured was advertised as having access to all three floors (including a finished basement) and a large two-car garage, but after viewing it in person and talking with management, we learned only the main and upper floors were included in the rent -- nearly 1,000 sq. ft. less than listed -- and the garage wasn't even accessible due to a curb blocking the entrance. When we asked for clarification, communication was slow and unclear. The rent price also wasn't adjusted to reflect the much smaller space and lack of garage access. On top of that, their pet/ESA approval process was overly complicated and handled through a confusing third-party site, which made the process frustrating and time-consuming. They have many good reviews, so we were surprised and disappointed by our experience. The property itself looked nice, but the inconsistencies between the listings and reality, along with poor communication and lack of transparency, made us decide not to move forward.

They are quick with maintenance when it matters. 4. They are easy to get in touch with Cons: 1. Sometimes they felt hard to work with. Meaning they I got the feeling they were treating me as though I was incompetent. I think it is likely that much of this was just due to the nature of communicating over text. 2. To keep the units nice and clean there is a very extensive cleaning checkout. I was bugged at first, but when I moved into my new place after leaving the Halladays I wished that the new place would have an extensive cleaning list. It was dirty when we moved in Overall they were pretty good landlords

I have lived in Lee & Carol Halladay's property for about two months now and so far, they have been great. It's the first time I rent from a non-corporate property management and I'll have to say that it's a very different experience. Instead of being treated as a customer or a "quota" as with certain corporate leasing offices, I was greeted as a person. Application process is a bit more personal and it's good to stop by and get "interviewed" as it gives you the opportunity to both let them get to know you as well as you getting to know them. Lee did seem to take high priority on who he is renting his places out to, which me and my boyfriend just figured it'd mean the potential neighbours were good people too. And so far, my neighbours seem very nice and none of them are noisy either. Lee, I believe is the one who mainly handles all the management, and he's a very straight-forward man. I've had maintenance issues twice since I moved in, and he's always been easy to get a hold of as long as you call within business hours. They also sent someone over the same day. For an urgent call, they sent over a guy within 30 min. So the speediness of this was both impressive as well as reassuring. The apartment we moved in just had the carpets replaced, walls repainted and even though it wasn't requested, Lee replaced the dishwasher in the unit because he thought it was in bad condition. It's rare to find managers that are this nice and honest. Note that this review is solely based on the actual management as they own several properties, so my views on the actual apartment does not apply (it's not a bad apartment, just rather thin walls).

Avoid This Rental Company at All Costs. I rarely write…read morereviews, but this experience was so awful I feel obligated to warn others. This company is completely unprofessional and neglectful. The property I rented was in terrible condition. Despite repeated complaints, nothing was ever fixed. There was mold in the bathroom, broken fixtures, and unreliable heating and cooling. We lived in the upstairs unit of a split house, and only had a swamp cooler no AC. Meanwhile, the downstairs tenant controlled the heat. When they went on vacation in the middle of winter and shut the heat off, we were left freezing in our own home. Customer service was nonexistent. Autumn, in particular, was the worst person I've ever dealt with in any customer service position. Rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I have no idea how she was even hired. Every time I reached out, I was either ignored or given the runaround. It's clear the company only cares about collecting rent, not about tenant safety or wellbeing. We lived there since 2019 and finally moved out recently. After the first year, we were on a month-to-month lease. As required, we gave a 30+ day notice, but never got a response. Three months after moving out, I found out they were still posting rent charges and late fees on the portal. When I contacted Autumn, she claimed they never received the notice. I provided proof, and she said it wasn't "good enough" and that I should have sent it another way. I complied. Again, no response for another month. Then she suddenly asked for a forwarding address to send the deposit. It's now been four months, and we've received nothing. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, even if it was the last place available. You'd be better off living under a bridge.

The people working there are still charging us utility bills even though we have moved almost 5 months ago and we have no way to cancel it because they need to contact the owner and we have no contact with them. Next we did a 1000$ security deposit and the apartment looked much better after we left because we put tons of effort cleaning it and making it better. And then they tried to charge us money to fix the apartment and never gave us our security deposit back. On top of that they are terrible at responding, their customer service is terrible. I live on one of their properties in Rexburg Idaho, and I'm posting anonymously because of it, but this might be the worst managing company of all time. 1. They're incredibly cheap. In every one of their places I've lived in so far, it seems like they hire management and maintenance from off the streets, so they feel underqualified and stuff never gets done. 2. Maintenance is terrible. The carpets are always coming up, the floors are always permanently stained no matter what you do, the counters are beat up, and paint is chipping off the walls. 3. The internet might be even worse. It routinely goes out for 1+ hours, and being in school, it's especially amazing when your internet goes out right while you're working on homework. 4. Their visitor parking is retarded. I'm sorry, what do you mean I can't park at a friend's house for more than an hour lest I receive a $100 fine? Are we just supposed to watch 60% of a movie and leave? 5. The parking lots themselves are awful. It feels like infrastructure created in 1868 back when horses were the primary mode of transportation and Henry ford wasn't a glimmer in his mom's eye. The spots are always too small and the spaces to drive between cars even smaller. Anytime you want to get out of the car, you have to crawl out of the sunroof. If you don't have a sunroof? Better hope you're anorexic. 6. The showers are always too short and they treat you like you're a bumbling retard when the pilot light on the water heater goes out. The toilets are too shallow so if you happen to be a guy with any length of testicle, your balls are going to hit the waterline. 7. The amenities are terrible. No hot tubs, no pools, you hardly even get a washing machine and dryer in half of these complexes. I guess you can count a TV from 2004, a microwave, an oven, and a bed that makes it feel like you're climbing Everest if you're any height under 7', them *maybe* you have some amenities.
