Buyer beware!! We placed an online order only to be called five minutes later to let us know they no longer carried one of the menu items (chickaronnes). This would usually be no big deal except for the fact that they are unable to readjust the bill. This left me with the responsibility to contact the credit card company to take off the cost of the deleted item and readjust the tax. Really? I chose to call back and delete the entire order. Your company needs to get the ball about removing items no longer carries on the menu. read more

Pizza from the God's! And delivery through Grubhub.....beware calzone and strombolis are amazeing!

So I got this 15.00 for 30.00 from yelp. I decided to give it a shot. Bought 8 wings, mozzarella sticks, pizza rolls, and a large pizza. On top of the 15.00 from yelp, my bill was 3 bucks. Now for the food. Wings were cooked to order. Very crisp and tasty. Way better than native wings by Ingram mall. The mozzarella sticks were made of quality cheese. Very stretchy. The pizza rolls were also fresh, stretchy cheese too. The pizza was pretty good. If you are unsure, then get the yelp deal. They have a bar with a good happy hour. Lots of tvs, and very clean. The owner is out with the customers ensuring all is good. That alone is important. read more

We ordered take out, and I have to say I was not impressed. Pizza looked really blah, and it tasted just as much. Nothing new or something that would make more different than a Digiornos frozen pizza. I really did try to give it a chance and tried to find what the whole deal was about. Ordered the home run baby and it came with no jalapeños. I don't think they would've saved it. It's not Good but not terrible actually it did taste pretty terrible if hadn't drown it in Tabasco I probably wouldn't been able to eat it. read more

Halftime Pizza - Pretty blah looking. - Pizza Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

I tend to like places with a more exotic or creative menu--they have your basic pub food, most of it deep fried. What they do, they do well, though. Fried pickles, those pizza rolls everyone goes on about, wings, even the salads are good with fresh ingredients, and I like their ranch dressing; it's tangy and not too heavy. The reason I come again and again is the service. Everyone is very welcoming, and they actually seem happy to see you, even if you're not a "regular." It's a perfect little neighborhood restaurant. read more

The food was great. Ordered a pizza and lasagna. No complaints. And the staff was super nice and attentive. read more

A 5 Star for to go. Ordered the pesto pizza and it was perfect. The crust was great. Toppings were good. Really liked the lil tomatoes. The chicken wings were a great size and nicely cooked. We ordered the spicy bbq but if u want something spicy get something else. Either that got messed up or it really is that week but the food was super good so that's why I'm still going with the 5 stars. I will end up going back for to go again when on that side of town. Now to find a good burger. read more

Our pizza took over an hour to be prepared which I thought was a little nuts. Then when we did finally get it the pizza was just okay. The crust was not seasoned at all and the cheese had little flavor. Certainly better than fast food pizza, but I doubt we will order from here again. read more

Disappointed. Reviews were good, but our visit was so-so. I had spaghetti and meatballs. For $8.00 I got side Caesar salad, two garlic bread, decent portion of spaghetti and two good size meatballs. Restaurant was loud and we weren't sure if we find a seat or wait to be seated, found a server who told us to sit anywhere. Server was pleasant, but given her many duties, she wasn't attentive. The meatballs were delicious. The sauce was meh, and the spaghetti quite over cooked. The garlic bread looked good but wasn't. It was flavorless. Caesar salad was also good. My husband's pizza did not taste as good as it looked. Again--flavorless. I really wanted to like this place, but it was really lacking. We're from out of town so I'm not sure if there's not much competition. I'm not understanding all the favorable reviews. read more

The crust was delicious and the pizza sauce was just right. They have a chicken nugget wrapped in chicharron and that was very good. My only complaint is the toppings were weak! read more

Yes it is attached to a gas station on tezel rd. Don't let that stop you. The owner is serious about his pizza and even competes in pizza competitions in Vegas. Also the tator tots are among the best and the subs are fresh. Beer and wine only. Always have the game on and although small, always feels comfortable. read more

Pizza is OK, above average New York style. The atmosphere is friendly. It's not the place I'd write my relatives about, but definitely a good time for the family. read more

Halftime Pizza - I recommend this place. Nice people and great food. - Pizza Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

I would like to have shared my experience but I didn't have one. They post that they are closed at 9 which I understand but when I called they said they would be open for the game. I went In And told it was last call and kitchen is closed. I spoke with manger and told we only stay open based on tables filled. I was upset by the Information given. I will try to go again but not happy currently. read more

My favorite place to hang out & watch football or basketball. The food is delicious & love the staff. The pizza rolls are the bomb!

We were looking for a good pizza place and I looked at the reviews and pictures and had to try it. Atmosphere is chill and welcoming came with 3 kids and my husband. Pizza Rolls are so good and my kids shared a calzone and did not finish it. The blend lemon and buffalo wings were so good and we ordered a pizza to go and the sweet potato pie cheesecake. The staff was very friendly and quick! read more

If you want to wait 45 minute just for your appetizer and all you get is a sorry, then don't bother. Nothing but kids working the kitchen. Main guy who looks like a manager with a backwards ball cap and a beard doesn't even check on tables to apologize for the kitchen "being backed up" from what our waiter told us. He could definitely tell we were aggravated from our faces, but didn't care to fix anything other than talk with the other waiters. Literally got our appetizer, wings and pizza all at once. And had to wait a while for refills. Two tables got up and walked out because it took forever for someone to take their drinks. I definitely feel this place needs some help.. read more

We were in town for a visit, staying close to 1604 and 151. Halftime had good reviews and was pretty close, so we decided to try it. It's attached to a large Chevron, so look closely or you'll drive right by it. Also note their closing time of 9pm. Halftime is a sports bar, pure and simple. Multiple screens, one wall-sized, and had the basketball game on (Go Spurs!). Johnny was our server, very friendly and enthusiastic, and let us know all about the menu. We started with a caprese salad made from fried green tomatoes, very unique and good; and a side salad with homemade ranch/dill dressing. Next was a Home Run, Baby pizza with lots of toppings, and maybe the best hand-tossed pizza crust I've had. They tell us they're competing in New York for best pizzas. I'm thinking they have a shot! read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim and this place is great! Wonderful service and great pizza!

This place has gone downhill. Constantly understaffed and poor service. Waited over an hour for my food and probably 20 minutes or longer between ordering more drinks, if I got them at all. I have multiple friends who won't go anymore because of the bad service, looks like I'll have to join them. read more

Been here several times and have yet to be disappointed. Pizza rolls and lemon-pepper buffalo wings are to die for. Good beer selection and good service. Prices are good enough and even better for happy hour. Which starts at 2pm during the week, just and FYI. read more

I usually love the pizza but they fell so short todayI ordered a slice it was paper thin didn't taste the same at all! I'm still going to go back and give it another shot. Way way too thin read more

I enjoy this place. The pizza is good but if you want crispy crust you are out of luck. Every time I order I'll ask for extra extra crispy. The last time I said its ok to have it a little burnt hoping that would get it closer. No luck. The ingredients are great but the dough is just to soft and a little to wet and the crust just sags when you grab a slice. If they could crisp this crust up a bit more on the bottom it would be perfect. read more

Always a great experience. The Family loves this place and the service is always polite and prompt. Big fights are a blast here, TVs are everywhere and there's not really a bad place to sit. I've never met the owner but you can see him working the kitchen. Nice to see such an investment into the business. Try the Pizza Rolls. read more

My wife had a craving for pizza so we went to our trusty Yelp app for pizza joints close to us and noticed the high reviews for Halftime Pizza, I've passed by this business hundreds of times but never tried it. I think because it's in the same shopping center of a gas station naturally I've blocked it from my considerations, I don't know why or how I have that predisposition but I guess I've always thought that. If you are like me, don't let that fact fool you this place is really good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they had one of my favorite beers on tap (Peroni), and the Pizza was excellent, we ordered the "Homerun Baby" which would be considered a supreme type pizza, the ingredients where plentiful and fresh, we ordered some wings and they had a great flavor to them and where the perfect size, even the ranch tasted home made! Everything was brought out in a timely manner and they had lot's of TV's so we had an opportunity to watch our Spurs destroy the Pheonix Suns, which really put the cherry on top of our family date night. A little pricey but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for, plus we noticed they do offer discounts and promotions at certain times and days of the week. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Yelp! read more

This place is amazing! We've tried their pizza, rolls, and wings and they're are all good. Best we've had since we moved here about a year ago. The staff is friendly and quick. Good place to watch a game or just hang out and have a drink. This is our new go to place! read more

Food is great. This neighborhood spot has become our go to Friday night pizza spot. The pizza egg rolls are fantastic. Service often lacking, but will still keep coming back. read more

Upon first impression, it seems odd being in a shopping center next to a gas station, but wow this place is so delicious and flavorful! The inside is a cute place with a nice looking bar and huge TVs to watch the game. The crust is never soggy like other places. We do like to pop ours in the oven for a few more minutes to get it a little more crispy, but that is just our preference :) Never had a bad experience ordering take out. This is the first place our 4 year old will eat an entire slice! I wished they did delivery ;) read more

Who doesn't love to order pizza by the slice!? Buffalo lemon pepper wings are a must!

I'm no stranger to pizza. New York, Chicago and St. Louis just to name a few places and styles. This local San Antonio joint holds up to them all. Not sure what was better, the wings, the pizza rolls, the pizza, or the love music. This place had it all down. Do not pass this place by. read more
