I was craving some good pizza... and Yelp lead me here. Service 2/5 the girl who rang me up was very soft spoken and was not paying attention. I had to repeat my self several times. Food 3/5 I got a salad with tomatoes, green bell peppers and black olives... but was missing my peppers. Salad was fresh though and the bread served with it was good. My pizza rolls were a 1/5. OMG, the only reason I gave it 1 star is for convenience (half mile away). When they first opened they were great! Prices, food & service were the best. However, LATELY everything is going down!!! Last time I ordered their fried pickles they were refried from what they had left over, which caused them to be burned! But since they closed that night right after I left & my granddaughter lost the receipt, I couldn't go back to complain (I had to thrButthem out). So a quick search led us here. They have a good menu. My group had a pepperoni pizza, salads and chicken wings. I didn't to taste the chicken wings so I will not comment on those. The side salad was good and I was happy it wasn't iceberg lettuce. The salad even had bell pepper in it! The piece if garlic bread that comes with the salad is !! The pizza was yummy. Watch the game, study the twenty or so college sports pennants hanging above your head. They offer 4 sizes on pizzas, 14", 16", 18", Texas sized is 20". We got the Large 16", 1/2 *Chicken Enchilada, 1/2 *Steak & Cheese (Tomato Sauce, add Mushrooms). Fresh toppings. Bread and crust is fluffy, was not dry or burnt. Was hoping it would taste more like an enchilada, but more subtle sauce taste, chicken excellent. Steak & Cheese was better for me. Thin shaved sirloin was flavorful, green peppers surprisingly crisp and fresh. Mushrooms equally good. Overall, they do everything right on the pizza, but are not taking any risks as far as boldness in flavor. One dozen wings, 1/2 *Original Crispy, 1/2 *Garlic Parmesan. Satiated us, but nothing phenomenal. Not somewhere I would return for wings. Both fry rubs, the original crispy was actually quite spicy, even though not indicated as such. Probably buffalo sauce level. They were really not that crispy, and in fact a little dry. Tasted more like an overbreaded chicken nugget on the bone! As compared to the thinner skinned Garlic Parmesan, which was preferred and seemed to fit the definition for crispness better! The flavor and spices seemed to have baked better into the meat rather than the skin only as in the original. *Fried Mushrooms were good within the first five minutes. Then the thin, inadequate breading becomes mush. Had to painstakingly remove it to make it edible. *Spaghetti & Meatballs with *Salad was only half good. Not quite al dente noodles, but also not mush; marinara sauce was tasty. Now, the two meatballs? Bigger is not better. They were good sized, but the quality of meat indicates that they very well might have been frozen. Same goes for the two bread sticks. Definitely not the same dough or anything like the pizza crust. The salad, in contrast, tasted fresh, came with green peppers, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and choice of dressing. Small complaints had everything else been outstanding, but flimsy napkins (come on, pizza and wings?) and no free refills on their fountain drinks. Plus, although they did not tell us to leave and were obstensibly nothing but nice, 45 minutes before their confirmed closing time, they were cleaning up around us and asked repeatedly if we wanted takeout boxes. read more
