This was my first time ordering from Halftime and I ordered for delivery. The food was hot and fresh and reasonably priced. I ordered buffalo spicy wings and a medium with sausage and bell peppers for my kids to share. The kids gave it their stamp of approval. Half the pizza seemed to have 90% of the cheese but that wasn't a huge problem. The sausage was tasty and the peppers were fresh. The dough was fresh too which I appreciated. It was missing something though. The sauce wasn't as flavorful as I liked. The buffalo wings were actually the best part of the meal. However I really wish they had bleu cheese dressing. I didn't see it as an option and didn't really have time to call and ask. Their ranch dressing tasted homemade, which was a plus, and looked like they had added dill weed which was an interesting flavor, but nothing compared to bleu cheese IMHO. The wings were hot and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce. I hate it when wings are just drenched in sauce or barely have any sauce at all. We ordered dinner to go and were pleasantly surprised at how smooth their curbside service was! Food was great! I tried the chicken, spinach, and cheese calzone with a Caesar Salad and it was all heavenly! Their Caesar salad is like no other! Something about their dressing and homemade croutons is divine. My husband had their pizza rolls and garden salad. He prefers their Greek vinaigrette dressing over their balsamic which is super-thick and has too heavy of a syrup taste to it. Halftime's offers single slice and or whole pizzas. I had the single slice and it was huge with lots of good toppings to chose from. The pizza was excellent also! Everytime we come here the food is excellent! Try the wings, way better than most "wing places". Service is always good. Chris generally helps us. Lots of T.v's for the different games. Just received my order, Order #054307486208018, which was missing one of the two ranch dressings we paid .55c extra for. The only one we were actually given spilled . Not to mention the delivery fee was $5.49, with a 5 dollar tip to the driver... be nice if some of that money went into quality assurance training. 2 stars because i still like Halftime pizza . I've been a loyal customer for a while now. This new wxperience won't shake it. But i do hope my 2 stars gets someone's attention. Delivery charges arrived a few years ago at half this. I have been here a couple times and sometimes the pizza is ok and other time is not. Mostly for carry out. On this last instance, I had order around $60 worth of food and had a horrible experience with the quality of the food. 1. The salad had a fly in it(took a pictures as well) 2. The philly cheese steak only had meat and nothing else, except one small piece of onion(red/purple onion?) and two little green pepper pieces... 3. the burger was really over cooke, dark(almost burnt) and hard. My said just didn't want to eat it after the first bite. I should of went somewhere else or gotten the wings which is one of the items I normally get. Anyhow, I decided to post my review as it was not a pleasant experience. I don't expect to get my money back but I do hope they make it right for the next customer. read more

Food is good but the service is lacking. First bad experience I waited 20 extra minutes for my second pizza for takeout. My first pizza and wings were cold when I got home. When I mentioned that my food would be cold to the server, she could have cared less. Second bad experience today, we ordered pizza and boneless wings. When we came in to pick up our food, we were told that they were out of the wings and they tried to call us. No call actually happened, we checked. So despite being here several times, it has done nothing but disappoint. Its unfortunate becuase I recently moved here and I was hoping this would be my spot. The first time I got the pizza rolls and pizza. The pizza rolls were amazing, so I had high hopes for the pizza. The pizza was disappointing and every visit after that has been as well. But then pizza rolls are good, but my wife got a burger and it was totally hockey pucked. I think it's the cook or something. When I called VANESSA said "sorry it was just a miscount it happens all the time" which I find funny because they are basically saying they mess up peoples orders all the time and there's nothing they can do about it. VANESSA the "GM" just laughed on the phone while I was explaining to her what was wrong with my order. She also was cussing at me which I find very odd for a GM to do. Vanessa should not be the GM. Where can I speak to a owner of this establishment? This was the most ridiculous conversation I had with this young lady. She just kept stating the fact that they mess up and there's nothing they can do not even refund me. Honestly, I've only had their calzones, but they a great for a quick and simple meal. Delivery is prompt and fast.

Let me start off by saying that I like this place. For the most part, I like the people there. I think their food's great. However, as you'll see from what I describe below, apparently, the owner could care less if one of his customers gets food poisoning from contaminated beverages. My girlfriend and I picked up a pizza, wing and gallon of tea deal from there one night. My girlfriend became extremely sick & we determined over the course of the next 12 hours that it had to be the tea, based on the fact that i'd had everything she'd had that day, except the tea. Also, she started to feel sick almost immediately after she drank it. I called in the next day to inquire about whether they make their tea, in house, which they do. When I informed the individual on the phone what had happened, he informed me that he was the owner and said this: "yeah, nobody else has been sick, so maybe you should think about what else could have made her sick." really? I'm not looking for a free pizza or trying to give anyone a hard time; we just determined that my girlfriend was sick from the tea she drank. He asked me what I wanted & continued to argue with me about the situation. Eventually, he told me that he would check with his suppliers & call me back. Interestingly, that hasn't happened. One would think that the owner of a small business would have a little more sympathy & appreciation for one of their customers who got sick off of the food/beverage that his restaurant sold them and who calls to inform him about a potentially dangerous situation for his other customers......then again, business is business and I guess he can't be bothered with such minutia. read more

I don't like: - having to wave my arms around for service in a half empty restaurant - having to separately order basics like water and silverware - having an empty box thrown at me when taking the rest of my meal to go (never in any country anywhere have I had to scoop my food myself in it when ready to go) - having a wall of wine next to me with no idea what's in there I do like: - good, basic pizza - a nice waitress taking their time to humor my lonely dining self with a funny quip (sorry I only tipped 10% or less, just felt like a nuisance in the end, all in all. Visited with a group of friends and wondered why I hadn't been sooner bc I live right down the road. The pizza rolls are awesome! The wings are amazing! My son had a pizza and he said it was good. We are definitely keeping this place on our list! Prob wouldn't go during a game night bc I see it gets super packed, but for a fun dinner with friends this was a great choice. The TVs were evenly distributed as far as which games/fights were on, which was pretty cool cause you could just kind of glance back & forth between them rather than having to choose what to watch. The good: Cozy, sport themed local pizza joint (this area needs a good one). Both girls serving the customers were gorgeous! The bad: Prices were quite high ($20 for a medium pizza), wings were about $1 each. Almost no cheese on the pizza! LONG time from placing order to food coming out. The unknown: Wings looked and smelled good, but I couldn't justify the price. Other tables' sandwiches and appetizers looked good as well. Our experience: We tried the "dough"nots--not what we were expecting. I was hoping for "LaFamilia" style garlic knots...these were more like beignets that you would find in a French bakery. They were kind of sweet and not "garlicky" enough. Very soft and chewy. When we ordered our pizza, our beautiful server instantly asked if we want extra cheese on it. I thought that was strange. When our pizza finally came out about 45 minutes later, I quickly realized why she had asked...there was practically no cheese on it! Other than that, the pizza was very tasty and the toppings were substantial and fresh. I want to go back because on YELP, this place has a deal...$15 for $30 worth of food.
