Since we had our kiddo with us, he also mentioned that on select Saturday's the store has new free comics for kids and also gives free comics for good grades which I thought was a great incentive. You can find classics like Archie to newer titles in here. They also had a little sticker bin which was well-stocked with One Piece stickers which got my family excited. We also looked into purchasing some early reader Pokemon books while in there, but opted to wait until our next visit. Over all, the price of everything seemed reasonable and again, Jesse was very helpful and a welcoming face!

I have been here quite a few times over many years and although I love how this place went from…read morekind of dilapidated to a very cool and modern shop that has A TON of different stuff, sometimes the staff is hit or miss. Last time I was there, there was a young boy with his mom, he was looking at pokemon cards. The mom clearly didn't know much and the people at the counter did not offer any help. He wanted to look through bulk but the counter was too high. The mom gave up and just told him to look at the cards on display and pick from there. I swear if this kid could've looked through the bulk he would've had such an amazing experience! (They have good cards). Instead he walked away with a single card from the display. Kinda sad, I know lots of adults collect this stuff but we can't forget that we became obsessed with it when we were kids like him.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - Won't Be Back…read more FIRST - I walked in and the person behind the counter just stared at me. No "Hi," no "Hello," no "How can I help you"... NOTHING. I had to introduce myself and explain I was there to inquire about selling some Pokémon cards. He then told me they only buy in bulk. Fine - I actually came in with a huge collection plus a rare Dragonite V Alternate Art 192/203 (Evolving Skies Full Art Alt Art). SECOND - I asked if he wanted to at least look at the rare card. He declined without hesitation, then added that shops "only pay 20%-30% of the value." That is completely FALSE. THIRD - After all of this, I said "okay" and wrapped it up. But was I thanked for coming in? Was I told "have a good day" or even a simple "bye"? Nope. Just another blank stare. This shop clearly does not value its customers or show even the bare minimum of courtesy. Even if they don't want to purchase something, the least they could do is provide basic customer service. Instead, I walked away feeling disrespected and dismissed. Absolutely awful experience.

The staff is always friendly and helpful when I'm looking for a specific book. My daughter has also inherited a love for books and ask to come here at least once a month.
