The banana chocolate chip, cafe au lait, blueberry maple, and peppermint white chocolate cupcakes were all a bit dry. The frosting on each cupcake had a burst of flavor. She chatted about life, music, history, answered audience questions, and of course, she played some music!! I bought her book, "Go Back and Fetch It," and was delighted that she took the time to sign it (as she was running late for her soundcheck). This bookstore is beautiful (see video) and has so many offerings (besides books), some of which you will only find here. The owner and employees are very nice and patient. They were super busy today as lots of folks were here, but they were also polite and professional. I took a list of events with me. I will return for events and this is my new gift spot. It doesn't help the environment, but I do prefer to hold a book in my hands. I try to buy used! But Barnes & Noble has always been a refuge for me since I was a preteen. Tons of books, gifts, merch, coffee, seating, a great area for kids with tons of children's books and toys and games. I'll always be a fan and a customer.

But just talking to Dale briefly he zeroed in on my likes and went to the back room to pull out a trilogy of collectible Spider-man comics and cut me a deal on the three.
