It's the perfect place to pick up a candy gift or to treat yourself. The real magic is at the counter, they have homemade chocolate-dipped fruit, pretzel rods, licorice, turtles, sea salt caramels, and many other treats. They even have an ice cream case! The staff is always helpful too. When I stopped in they were running a special on their chocolate-covered strawberries, and of course I couldn't resist. They were fresh and delicious! Ultimate Confections is always worth a visit.

While I was there, they had dark chocolate and milk chocolate. I got the dark chocolate and my sister had the milk chocolate. The chocolate melts perfectly, the marshmallows pop up out of the shell. The store associate took so much care in packaging our items, I was humorously reminded of the scene in Love Actually when Alan Rickman's character is buying the necklace for his assistant and not his wife. I perused the store and selected brittle, taffy, and chocolates as part of a taste testing for the whole team to determine which items were the best to consider as gifts for our customers. Staff was friendly and accomodating, and even offered me a sample after I completed my purchase. Oddly, despite spending about $70 and explaining what I was doing with my purchases, I didn't get a receipt. I dropped an email to the store and received a quick reply and was provided with a picture of the receipt that was quite small and blurry, though thankfully our AP department didn't question it too much and I still got reimbursed for the purchase! And if you were wondering, the taffy was surprisingly good, but wasn't labeled on the package in terms of what flavors were in each bag, so that was a big turn off for our taste testers. The chocolates were a big hit and will be a finalist for our customer gifts!

I am always reluctant to try any macaron here in WI because when I do I am usually disappointed and Miss Bouchon. Woops! Just started their kiosk located in Brookfield Square right next to Starbucks just a few weeks ago and will build a bigger kiosk structure in January 2019 explains Shahnoza. She also explained the difference in their macaron and pointed out it is in the meringue and ganache filling. Shahnoza was giving out sampling's of whatever we desired so we picked out our favorites (pistachio, Carmel and vanilla) and tried the raspberry jam. We were not disappointed. Flavorful and the meringue cookie was baked crispy outside and moist chewy inside.... just like Bouchon! Just the size is a typical size macaron whereas Bouchon's was 3-4 times the size. I was skeptical on how it can be baked, frozen and shipped here but I didn't taste any difference that they were frozen. Shahnoza was so nice and spent time with us. Great display and presentation. If you like macaron then I urge you to try it and believe you will agree. I'm excited, and I don't have a sweet tooth.
