After my 2nd time, I feel I can finally review this place. While I absolutely love the bulgogi and…read morethe loaded bulgogi fries, there was a lot that was just okay. They only offer 3 kinds of banchan when most korean restaurants fill your table with them. One of my kids really disliked the Korean ramen because the noodles were very obviously from packaged ramen. My other kid who loves bibimbap thought it was really lacking and not at all authentic. I didn't score any points by taking them here. I like the crispiness of the kimchi pancake. Most restaurants have really soggy kimchi or seafood pancakes and theirs was very crispy with nice flavor. Service is really good and the place clean. I didn't dislike it by any means. It's just not authentic at all if that's what you're seeking.

The kalbi is unforgettable, the flavor is similar to the Bulgogi but with a really nice sear on it. The fried rice was airy and light in comparison to Chinese fried rice. You'll find that the portions and the pricing are fair. You order on your phone and the food is served within 10-20 minutes. They give pickled daikon, Korean potato salad and kimchi as your accompaniments. It's a really nice spot, there's seating for groups, an area for a large family and for parties of 2. Fair warning- high sodium food. Drink lots of water and be prepared to feel a little dehydrated the next day.

It was the perfect opportunity to try a variety of items. Here is what we ordered: Thai iced tea (4) Egg roll, vegetarian (4) Chicken satay (2) Pad see eiw w/beef (2) Crispy Thai noodles w/tofu (2) Green curry with tofu (2) Basil seafood with extra seafood mix (2) Mixed veggie stir-fry with shrimp (2) Mango and sticky rice (4) Overall, we were satisfied with the flavor profiles and everything was delivered in an efficient manner. The portions are not large and I think we would order two more entrees when we revisit with our large group of 14. We have had mango and sticky rice many times in the past. This is our first time having it with a purple-bluish color sticky rice. I don't think it made much difference with the flavors but the kids were turned off by it and refused to try. Then again, kids are sporadic and we can never truly tell what appeals to them. The mango was not ripe but this was back in March when mangos were not in season. Otherwise, we would definitely return and we are eager to try the other items such as crispy catfish curry and pepper squid.

It's tiny inside and feels well worn (in a good way), but there are a few tables outside. We went at an off time (or so we thought), but eventually all four tables and all bar seating were taken up. The gentleman serving us seemed to be the only one there, but he was friendly. We ordered a taktouka sampler, mixed grill platter, and lamb shank tagine. If you go to a Moroccan restaurant, you've got to get tagine. It took a little while for the food to come out, but overall it was excellent. The taktouka sampler was full of veggies. It was tasty, but I wish the carrots were cooked more to soften them. The mixed grill platter had chicken and beef kabobs, as well as something like a kefta (ground meat) kabob. The meats and rice were good, although the beef and chicken could have been more tender and juicy. The white sauce was a nice accompaniment. The lamb shank was excellent; nice tender meat, tasty rice, and delicious supplemental flavors from the figs and apricots. Overall, a very nice lunch.
