Chicken Lo Mein (white meat) Mongolian Beef General T'so Chicken Vegetable Fried Rice

Basic Chinese takeout with generous portion sizes. I wish it was less oily but it's fast food at the end of the day. We ordered the General Tso, Mongolian beef, and Chicken Lo Mein. The General Tso was okay but the Lo Mein and Mongolian beef was pretty good. Would try again in the future!

Really cannot go wrong with a regular Bubble Milk Tea. Flavor was so good! Very safe covid measures!

    "Thai milk tea"

The first time I came here, I ordered a passionfruit yogurt green tea with bubbles. It was pretty good for the price at the time ($3) and how close it was to my house. I decided to go back whenever I have bubble tea cravings since it was a 3-minute walk. The second time I got a honey lemon green tea and that was pretty standard. Their prices went up to $3.50, but still cheaper than other bubble tea shops in the area. As long as it was good, I'll be back. The third time I wanted to try their milky drinks so I went for the Thai Milk Tea. Based on my past experiences with Halal Xpress, their bubble teas were always good since their bubbles had the right chewiness. However, their Thai milk tea was very gross. It tasted like water mixed with a lot of condensed milk. I'm an avid bubble tea lover, but I couldn't even finish half of this drink. It was overwhelmingly sweet and had little to no tea taste. That's not the Thai milk tea I'm familiar with, even if it's powdered Thai milk tea. The restaurant itself seems really sanitary and clean though. I have yet to try the food here as it seems to be priced up because it's halal approved. Maybe one day I'll be experimental and try it. But for now, I'll take my bubble tea business elsewhere.

    Black Pepper Beef

I want to start of by saying that I do not typically eat Chinese food because I'm extremely picky and get grossed out if something is slightly off. There is one place that I trust and that's No pork halal on Atlantic Avenue and unfortunately it's so far from Bensonhurst to visit frequently. I recently found out that Halal Xpress is somehow related to no pork halal restaurant and decided to give it a try. And I was not disappointed! The food was delicious, fresh and well cooked which is big for me ! I had sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice and it was just finger licking good ! You must also try the chicken wings, yum ! They also have great bubble tea drinks, try the Thai milk tea ! The restaurant is brand new, very clean and modern. The staff is great, very polite and very quick service ! I would definitely recommend them !

Phenomenal quality establishment. I didn't remember how amazing they were until I walked in to pick up a large, customized order--and they did Everything Right and served it with a smile. I was blown away by the flavor and the differences between the dishes in our meal. They do not take the kind of shortcuts that other restaurants take that leave everything tasting the same. Your tastebuds will thank you for choosing Halal Xpress for your fix. You'll be impressed.

The place is very clean and orderly. When I went there was a lot of open seats but I took take out. The only issue I had was that the television playing was waaaay too loud. I got the chicken and rice with taro milk tea. The portion was very bug and the packaging was superb. I would go there again if I have time.

Ordered a Malaysian Fried Rice there. It's bad. It's sad because they charged me $13 for this disaster. I will never go back again.

There were 10 of us, so we ordered a variety of Chinese dishes. Overall the food wasn't bad, but nothing amazing. We got about 7 dishes and a soup, and the bill came out to around $413. The most expensive item was our soup. They recommended and we ordered not knowing it was $98, but that was our fault for not asking. To be fair though, the soup was quite delicious and I had two bowls.

It's in a quieter area of Boro Park surrounded by residences and commercial warehouses and auto shops. Yet I wanted to try it for months. So we did try it especially as they have a lunch special everyday from 11am to 3pm which offers a starter of their house soup with all the fixings - spare rib, fresh chicken, mushrooms, a abalone as well. While not like most other restaurants which their house soup is left over bones and odds/ends with a heap loud of msg. Then 3 main dishes of your choice from their lunch special menu which has over 20 dishes for you. Plus a bowl of their white rice for each person. Even a simple bowl of white rice was amazing - it's a mix of different rices which presents very nicely - each grain stays individual, long, fluffy, and great texture. The main dishes do not disappoint- fresh, flavorful, well balanced, and with wok hay. We've now eaten there a handful of times for lunch and even with other friends/family - everyone agrees the food and preparation is excellent. Everyone says they would come back. Then if you take into account the lunch special deal for $30 this is an amazing meal that feeds your taste buds and stomach yet your wallet praises you. I have read some reviews giving 1 star with comments about long wait for dim sum, dim sum being average at best, and bad manager/servers etc. I have these observations to share - Dak Sing Palace has a small dim sum menu maybe a dozen or less items and they are not a dim sum restaurant so they likely don't produce dim sum fresh daily. Likely their dim sum is frozen and reheated. Thus the wait time and average dim sum. Bad manager/servers - this is not uncommon at Chinese restaurants it is almost expected to have to deal with this to some extent. My own experiences here every server does do their job maybe some without a smile but we have had excellent servers with a smile and small talk also. If you have any reservations about trying Dak Sing Palace due to how the appearance may seem, or reviews on the service, or dim sum then I say Just Go! And try using their lunch special for $30! You won't be disappointed.

We ordered satay chicken skewers, yipoh signature pork chop, and laksa noodles. The satay chicken sewers were tender, not dry at all and paired well with the peanut sauce. It does have a little kick to it, which gets a bit amplified with the heat. The pork chops were a more citrusy Peking pork chops, which isn't a bad thing. They were tender and meaty, with just the right amount of batter to not feel like you're just eating dough. This paired well with their chicken rice. The laksa noodles were decent but a bit underwhelming. We expected more flavors but it fell a bit flat. Prices are reasonable and the serving size is pretty good. Worth to try other things on the menu.

Above all, the fish quality and freshness is excellent and the nigiri felt especially authentic (not too much rice, sizable cuts of fish done in the traditional style). The akami and hamachi belly were particularly great. The toro scallion and king salmon crunch hand rolls were also favorites. Our opinions were more split on the spicy tuna crispy rice (I loved, husband was more lukewarm) and dumplings (obviously very freshly prepared but quite fried). The signature roll set had an assortment of interesting and unique rolls ranging from truffle to mango- my fave was the New York crunch w potato crisps on top. The tuna crispy rice was also a bit different- served as a tartare w crispy rice chips for dipping. Very crispy and tasty though! Service was super attentive and very welcoming. Definitely will be coming back if I'm in the area.
