Hubby was craving American Chinese take out so we did a search for something still open and nearby. Our usual spot is close so we were okay with trying a new place. We ordered: - Fried Chicken Wings With Vegetable Fried Rice ("hot sauce on side") - small pint of Bean Curd with Vegetable Soup - Boneless Spare Ribs Combination Platter with White Rice - Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce with "extra sesame sauce on the side" - 2 orders of Spring Roll ("duck sauce on side") The noodle with sesame sauce would be for lunch; the extra sauce can be for home-made noodles meal another meal time. Delivery came on time and food was yummy as a typical Chinese take out would be. Was craving sesame noodles so ordered it to be lunch for the next day. By letting it refrigerate overnight; it became more flavorful. I thought the boneless spare ribs were rather dry and tough (not tender or juicy). The vegetable fried rice was very good (limited vegetables) and the chicken wings were pretty good size. read more

I always enjoyed their food. They follow instructions really well on my DD and GH orders. This is one of my to go Chinese food restaurants

I love their egg foo young, especially the gravy that comes with it since it's flour based and not that dark, salty kind that some other places give you. Walked through rain just pick it up. read more

My family & I order from them all the time. The food is always delicious & their serving sizes are always very generous. Even our daughter, who is 7 & a very picky eater, loves their food (the chicken wings, chicken & broccoli, & egg drop & wonton soup). read more

Decent place when you crave Chinese American take out food. Ordered from here a few times in the past. Food is decent and ok whenever craving. I'd usually get the general tso chicken lunch special and my brother would get the sesame chicken one. read more

I order and pickup from these guys quite frequently. So far they haven't disappointed me yet. Food is always good and has a consistent flavor. Both delivery and pickup is very quick. Its also conveniently located where you can just park and run in to grab your food without having to search for parking or risking getting a ticket. As far as the inside, its your typical Chinese takeout spot. Counter with the kitchen in back and a few tables out front which no one ever uses for eating. It is very inexpensive also for the food and quality that you are getting here. Will definitely return here. read more

I ordered from this place couple of time (delivery) Last week i was passing by and I decided to walk in and order something , and i dont know where to start first The most disgusting place I ever see in my life The kitchen is full of grease everywhere and the way they work it is just disgusting, i saw them using same pan in 2/3 orders no metter what they cook Stay away from this place read more

THIS IS THE WORST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD I hate doing this because I know this is somebody's business, but I honestly have never had Chinese food this bad ever. We ordered across the board: Beef Lo mien, Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso's Chicken, egg rolls, dumplings, etc. - I'm sorry, all of it was inedible. It's a shame, they're not too far from me and I was hoping it was good, because I come home late sometimes and can't cook. Old broccoli, horrible chicken flavor, dumplings tasted like they came out of a bag and the beef lo mien was so bad, I gave it to the dogs. I don't think these people should make food for public consumption. read more

just ate my takeaway from this place, well... I have ordered extra hot dish, came out even not mild. seems they try to get away with american taste - major NO for me. the hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour. again, tasteless mix of ingredients. will not order again. need some spices/taste in my food. read more

I want to start off and say that this one of the best chinese restuarants in Brooklyn. Their food is always cooked fresh and they have variety off options to choose from on their menu. Their sesame chicken has outstanding mouthwatering flavor they use some kind of sauce that give their sesame chicken the flavor not to mention their boneless spare ribs are juicy tender cooked, and nice and red. their white rice is well cooked and it taste so good. Empire house has all sorts of seafood dishes, meat dishes, vegetable dishes, rice dishes and lo mein dishes, delivary is fast but be prepared to tip. Only thing though they be taxing for food but its worth paying more because you pay extra for something extra good. No chinese restuarant can compare to this one not in my book. read more

I've been coming here for years. I like the food and the people are very friendly. I usually get beef with white rice. Pretty sure it's a family owned business. Because they make you feel welcomed. And the price not bad. read more

I've only ever gotten delivery via GrubHub but the delivery comes VERY fast, the food is hot, and considering the neighborhood, decent vegetarian food with lots of tofu options. read more

AVOID!! Food is not made for human consumption. Shrimp was slimey, sauce was clumpy and the dumplings were so thick and cold, they resembled children's play dough. Feeling incredibly sick and currently regretting my decision to eat from here. read more

The owner is very kind and the food is well prepared. Nice people they have been there for over 11 years. Very clean.

Horrible!! Greasy, gross and made me sick !!! Stay away! There are better Chinese food in the neighborhood.

My wife and I just had the worst Chinese food of our lives. The shrimp in my shrimp with lobster sauce had not been de-veined, and the "lobster sauce" itself had what looked like pieces of leftover beef in it. My spring rolls tasted like rancid cooking oil. My wife's sesame "beef" looked like they took very fatty leftover boneless ribs and breaded them. The food was borderline in-edible and certainly left the both of us questioning all the positive reviews here. read more

Came across this Chinese fast food by accident on grub hub because I couldn't find my usual Chinese spot menu on my fridge. Whatever's didn't think I can go wrong with any Chinese fast food so I gave this one a shot and yup 5 stars, cheap and good. Same deals and lunch specials are great, food is good for it's price. I don't know why people are rating this place 1-2 stars... it's $5 for a filling meal! read more

If you want Chinese food that is fast delivering and good quality this is the place to be. I've been buying Chinese food here for about 5 years now and every time I order I receive good customer service. The food is always hot and on time. read more

I eat here all the time. No complaints. As long as I'm living in the neighborhood this is my spot.

Most Chinese restaurant's menu are uniform style, just the chef who made the differences. Ordered a General T Chicken and a steam chicken broccoli with sauce on the side. Food taste decent overall. The delivery guy was polite enough to earned an extra star. Will order again. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered shrimp mei fun. Mei fun is a rice noodle dish with spices, usually incorporates sauteed vegetables and a protein. What did I got? Shrimp over cabbage. I'm not joking. I thought there were noodles buried somewhere in there and maybe they forgot to add spices/sauce? No. Someone literally cooked cabbage and shrimp and tried to pass that over as shrimp mei fun. Unacceptable. read more

Ordered today to try a new place on seamless. Wontons were ok but more hard than crispy. Chicken dumplings seamed that they were more like empanadas. No idea what wrapper they used but did not seem to be rice based. Also ordered roast pork egg foo young. Maybe it is just me but the gravy sauce seemed too dark where as I am use to a more creamy lighter gravy. All and all, was not very impressed and will prob not order again read more

This is by far the best Chinese food delivery in this area of Brooklyn. I have had almost everything on their menu and I have no complaints. They make really great fried rice and ribs. I especially love the shrimp in garlic sauce as well. Highly recommend ordering from here! Their delivery is also super fast and the delivery guy is amazingly nice and funny! read more

Not the best Chinese take out I've ever had but it's definitely above average. Delivery is always super fast.

Been ordering here for a really long time now. Never really bothered with the delivery since I either eat in or do pickup. I have to say the inside is clean and the workers are very very nice. Food here is really spot on. read more

Love their food. They have very good ribs and the best veg moo shu I have ever had. We order from there at least 5 times a month and we are always very happy. read more

The person answering the phone has a bad additude .then when they get your order completely wrong they refuse to change it ..for their prices the food is no different from any other place ..nothing special...if you order from.here good luck read more

I have a love and hate relationship with this place. I love the food it's really fantastic hence the three stars but if it wasn't for their slow delivery it would be all 5. This used to be our go to place but about a year ago either their ownership changed or something change but their delivery is horrible. Don't get me wrong they're always apologetic and they always nice on the phone it's just that when you're hungry, and you want dinner, you want something in a relatively decent amount of time. read more

I've ordered from these guys frequently because it's the best Chinese food restaurant close to my home. I love that the rice here Isn't as greasy compared to other places. That's why I continue to order from them! They also have lunch specials before 3 which is also nice. Overall reasonably priced and pretty good place to eat. I definitely recommend!! read more

Horrible, I called for delivery of sesame chicken large size. The order was $9 and they said no delivery. When their menu specifically said $8 minimum. What a lair! I'm extremely unhappy with them. read more

We ordered here solely because of yelp reviews. Egg rolls full of grease, vegetable soup made with chicken broth, over cooked chicken and yellow broccoli. Nowhere near as good as others say, mediocre at best. First time I ever threw out chinese food leftovers instead of putting them in the fridge. Save your money. read more

I love their food. The chicken chow mein is my fav! I add my own Siracha and it's amazing.

It's a Chinese take out place. Had better. Had worse. It sits right in the middle. The edge it has over any other is that it is right around the corner from where I live. I don't see traveling from afar for food from this particular place but on the bright side, I don't go out of my way to avoid the joint either. It is one of three go-to Chinese take out places in my area. read more
