Simply asked for napkins (none given) with my 5 dish & 1 appetizer order (2 shrimp rolls). They had "buy 1, get 1 free" special menu items; so found reason why it's clearly possible is because you'll only get 1/2 order placed into each food container; also, when you ask for any side order of fried rice (paying more $$), that's what is used to fill other 1/2 container space!! Their rice, & noodle dishes are horrible; no flavor or taste at all; so you're then inclined to add your own sauces to at least make it palatable enough to chew & swallow!!! Usually, fake Chinese food is super greasy. This place wasn't! Perfect for health conscious and budget conscious people. However, don't get it if you have a sensitive stomach. My friend had diarrhea afterwards. I ordered the sesame chicken special with egg roll and vegetable fried rice. It's easy to cook your own white rice so I recommend getting the fried rice that comes with the special. The egg roll was very thick and flavorless. But hey, it was complementary so i'm not complaining. I also ordered the chicken lo mein with egg roll. The lady called me in mandarin and promptly used English when my silence suggested that I did not understand her. She was calling to ask if I wanted rice with the lo mein. If I did, she would be giving me less noodles. I love that she attempted to communicate me. More popular and trust worthy places like Dunkin' don't even bother to ask what you'd prefer if they do not have the donut you ordered online. So, I definitely appreciate the customer service at Great Wall. The contact-less delivery came fast, despite the rain today. Absolutely disgusting. I ordered the boneless ribs combo and got othing by overcooked pork. This is char siu meat and they literally gave me the ends of each piece. Cooked so dry, it's hard and impossible to chew. Even tougher than Jerry. The fried rice that came with it tastes like nothing, but raw onions. The general toss was soggy. I ordered from this location through Uber Eats. The food was mediocre, I ordered a beef lo mein for which I paid $14. Prior to the my food arriving it took tremendously long for the driver to pick up the food. I decided to call the restaurant to inquire about the status of my food. I went on Yelp to find the number, the business was listed as "closed today". I called the restaurant, a very miserable woman answered. I asked if they were opened, her response was "would I be answering if we were closed". I explained that Yelp stated they were closed and her answer was that she doesn't know what Yelp is. After my interaction with employee and tasting the very mediocre food I will not be ordering from here again. Good riddance! read more

Used to come here alot when I worked near by. Remember they had good chicken wings. Was walking back from a Telco run last night and stopped in for a combo to go. Got a beef with broccoli combo with roast pork fried rice and an egg roll. Not great and not awful, pretty bland but the meat was tender and the rice wasnt hard. Added soy sauce and Sriaccha and it was ok. Counter lady was really nice so they get points for that. read more

This is probably the best Chinese food I've had so far in the area. It's not greasy, fast delivery and it isn't expensive.

Tried two times and both were disappointed. Food was tasteless and looked like crap. The prices were cheaper than other Chinese restaurants in the area but that just means poor quality. I said to the lady who answered the phone don't chop my half chicken; she seemed very mad and questioned on me how can the chicken be cooked without chopping it up? I said just fried it longer and she hung up the phone. I just don't like the attitude and every time when a customer has a special request, you just do it. Save you money and spent more to get better food and service elsewhere! read more

The only acceptable Chinese takeout in the area (I think!) I've ordered from a few chinese takeout places in bensonhurst that either don't put any effort in their food, or they think they can dump a gallon of rice instead of actually "soong" .. and then don't offer a large order! This place serves as a "restaurant" with a takeout option. Much better because I ordered the large serving of beef with chinese broccoli and the broccoli was certainly fresh (beef always ends up mushy from delivery time). I couldn't really finish all of it, so if you want fresh, plentiful, and honest food, try this place out! Edit: It seems to be a mixed experience. They often add the 'mixed vegetables' which include carrots and celery that serve to fill up the box. Teh last time I got served that, the mini-corn tasted old and not fresh. They can do their dishes right, but maybe for frugal concerns, you might get the brunt of stock. read more

The owners are the kind of folks who'll let you owe them a buck if you're a regular and you come up short. Delivery (when ordered through Grubhub) came in no time. It only took about 20 minutes to show up and I'm surprised when the delivery shows up at 10 minutes! The food portions are large and depending on what you get it is usually very delicious. The lo mein can sometimes feel very oily and cheap but the singapore chow mein and many other items are amazingly good. The prices are very affordable and really great service is guaranteed. Love this place!!!They deliver super fast and at the risk of sounding like a complainer, they are THE ONLY Chinese restaurant that does not make me feel sick and bloated after I eat it. Waited a hour and 30 minutes after placed an order over the phone. WORST CHINESE FOOD ever tasted in 25 years living in NY metropolitan area. Hot & Sour Soup, Scallion Pancakes, Spring Roll, Jumbo Shrimp & Scallops with Ginger Scallion Sauce and Black Mushrooms with Chinese vegetable, total $45 worth of food. Everything was burned, overcooked, tasted like OLD OIL, smelled like OLD OIL. We could not eat anything... Unpeeled Jumbo Shrimps which were deep fried before sauteed. Scallops felt like plastic. When we called up again and asked to send a delivery guy to pick them up for a money back after they would check the food, she said, " I can not do anything if you don't like our way of cooking."
