Place is sketchy in the inside. They block off the kitchen area so you can't see them prep the food. Chicken taste bland. Portions are small

You must use the green and white sauce on everything. The salad was extremely fresh and both the meats were cooked perfectly. The entrees are always huge and more than enough food. Service: 5/5 The service was extremely friendly and nice. We got there and they said we can sit anywhere we like. Service was fast and sauce refills were welcomed. Ambiance: 5/5 The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both casual dinners and special occasions. The decor is tasteful, the dining room is spacious, and the overall setting feels polished without being overly formal. It's a relaxing place to enjoy a meal and spend time with family or friends.

It's become a reliable stop whenever you're craving authentic Persian food done well. One thing I've always appreciated here is the little touches. The warm bread they bring out is wonderful, and if you know to ask, they'll sometimes bring lentils as well -- a comforting start to the meal that feels very traditional. The meats are always fresh and beautifully seasoned, which is exactly what you hope for when ordering Persian kebabs. They recently renovated the Roslyn Heights location, and the space now feels very modern and polished. It's definitely an upgrade visually. That said, the dining room is a bit on the smaller side, and the tables sit fairly close together -- close enough that you might hear your neighbor's conversation. The Huntington location has a more relaxed, family-style Persian feel, while Roslyn feels more contemporary. Service has always been thoughtful. During our visit, we accidentally dropped a fork and the staff immediately replaced it without hesitation. Small gestures like that go a long way. What also makes Ravagh special is its place in the Roslyn Heights community. Located in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood on Long Island, it's nice to see a restaurant serving authentic halal Persian cuisine and welcoming such a diverse crowd. It adds something meaningful to the local dining scene. The spices and flavors are always the highlight. Desserts could perhaps be elevated a bit more, but the overall experience -- from the kebabs to the hospitality -- keeps people coming back. A lovely dinner spot on Long Island that continues to represent Persian cuisine with consistency and care.

Kabul Kabab offers the most delectable, flavorful, and cost-effective family meal in the area. The combo #1 or #2 is more than enough to feed a family of 4-6 and it has great value. A combo comes with salad, onions/grilled tomatoes, 2-4 skewers if your choice (depending on which one you get) and a whole STEAMER TRAY of delicious rice. Pro tip: the lamb kebab is always worth the extra $3 or so and the brown rice is the winner in our home (brown rice = more flavorful + more fiber = winwin!) Please do give this place a try if you're in the area and need to feed at least 3-4 mouths--the people there are so nice and the food is amazing--would give 30/10 stars if I could!

Tried the chicken kofta during dinner time which came with two skewers, rice, onions and roasted tomato, and house salad. House bread came with the typical sauces (a yogurt, a cilantro, and chili sauce). Meat was tender and well seasoned. Brown rice was nice too and sumac and paprika were on the table for garnish. I also ordered the qabuli rice topping which was disappointing. Usually the shredded carrots are candied, but these were normal carrots and raisins microwaved with lots of moisture but not transformed in any way. Nonetheless, food was good and portions were generous. Easily makes two meals.

I ordered the lamb chops while my husband had the chicken shawarma, and both plates came with rice, vegetables, and a fresh salad with a homemade dressing that was incredibly tasty and unlike anything we've had before. The drinks were homemade too - we had the lemonade and iced tea - and the presentation of everything was beautiful, right down to the mint sprigs in the glasses that added such a nice touch. We were served by the owner, Elias, who was warm, personable, and provided impeccable service the entire time. Even though we didn't order dessert, he surprised us with baklava on the house - delicate flaky layers topped with honey and pistachios that were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a relaxing place to enjoy great Lebanese food, Beit Zaytoon is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is comfortable, welcoming, and not cramped at all.

Then we were served Pita bread; not the soft & fluffy kind but more of a thin pita pocket type. This pita went so well with the spreads! Here is our menu (shared by 3ppl): ~ Baba Ghannouj ($10): outstanding. The smokey flavors were mouth watering. Recommended! ~ Fattoush Salad ($15): very good; fresh veggies with a fresh herb dressing. Another great palate cleanser ~ Samboussek Jibneh (feta cheese dumpling) ($12/4pcs): loved these! The dumplings are deep fried but weren't greasy at all. This was a treat! ~ Lahme Meshwi (grilled filet mignon cubes w.rice & veg) ($40): I thought this dish was a tad bit overpriced but great nonetheless. The filet mignon was so tender and prepared perfectly. The rice and grilled veggies were good also. ~ Kaftan Kebab (grilled minced lamb kebabs w.rice & veg) ($25): the kebabs were very flavorful but could have used a sauce. I ate some with the Baba Ghannouj and it was wonderful. The assorted grilled Vegs were great. Note that they do not serve tap water; must purchase bottled water. Beit Zaytoon is located in a small strip mall, so there is plenty of parking available! Recommended, and I would definitely return to explore other menu items!
