This is my hair after two sessions and she's done a great job delivering on Grey blending. She found an ashy beige that would work with blending in with my silvers. She really understands color. I checked in a few minutes prior to my appointment just to make sure that I was arriving stress free. Upon arrival they confirmed my treatment and provided me with a little baggie for my jewelry and a quick survey to complete for my specialist. I was given clear instructions as to what to expect and was shown where the restrooms were (which I think is super helpful). Right on the dot, my specialist Tracy greeted me with such a calm and happy demeanor. She led me up the stairs to the treatment area above the salon and was completely mind blown as to how much of a transformation from the downstairs to the upstairs was. Tracy led me right to this cute little sitting area where she prepped the foot soak and then checked to make sure the water was the appropriate temperature and then asked if I would like some water or tea to drink. I opted for the tea while I was resting she had me preview some essential oils for use for the facial massage... and the rest is history... because after that... I was completely in la la land. I woke up with soft hands and arms, soft feet, destressed head and shoulders, hydrated face and a cleaning scalp with hair that you just want to run your fingers through. 10/10 would do this again... maybe even 2 weeks from now. I said multiple times I didnt want red or warm... my whole head, not just the highlights, got toned a fairly strong red hugh. I invested in blue and purple shampoos trying to tone it down. It helped a bit. I did give her feedback but I don't want to go back to get it fixed because I've been back once already and I'm not confident in her ability to fix it at this point. Tears of joy and complete shock as I have never, EVER in all the years I have been to a hairstylist could've ever imagined my hair looking this healthy and beautiful! I didn't even know my curl pattern could look like this! I spent months of research trying to find the right hairstylist because I have super PTSD from past experiences with my curly hair with stylist "acting" like they know what to do but in fact don't. This was the complete opposite of Dustin. I let Dustin know when I first got into his chair that I was nervous. He immediately sat down next to me and we discussed my hair goals for the day and the future. He encouraged that any questions I had during my session and after to not hesitate to let him know. And reminded me that he was just a text/phone call away. At that moment I knew I chose the right stylist. I scheduled for a curly cut, sun-kissed and hydration treatment. Roughly took about 2 hrs but sitting in his chair felt like 30mins. He truly has a beautiful soul that is infectious. He educated me on my hair washing/cond routine and how to effectively keep it hydrated, healthy and walked me through styling. For the styling he used two products...TWO! A curl cream and small amount of oil. For true curly hair peeps, you know that it usually takes way more than two small products to tame our crazy frizz. I still have no idea how he managed to tame all my hair and make it so beautiful with two products! He is truly a curly hair God! I never felt more beautiful, heard and seen than while leaving his chair yesterday. Any of my mixed haired ladies and men need a curly hair stylist. HE IS IT!! I promise you! If I'm being honest, I didn't initially review Dustin because I didn't love the way he styled my hair. However, I really loved it after I styled it myself. I've learned that no one can truly style your curls how you do and it's the quality of the cut that matters. I think Dustin gave me one of my favorite cuts ever!
