I cannot recommend Kat enough! I started seeing her years ago, and every appointment felt like catching up with a hilarious, talented friend who also happens to be a total hair genius. Her vibe is always upbeat, fun, and genuine. She made me feel instantly comfortable from day one. One of the things I appreciated the most was how honest she was. If I came in with an idea that wasn't right for my hair type or health, she talked me through it and help me find something fun and realistic. She truly cares about the health of your hair and takes time to explain what she's doing and why. This was important for me because I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to any of that stuff, but I always still want to have a nice hair. She even was able to do the hair for my sister's wedding! The only reason I'm no longer seeing her regularly is because I moved away. That being said, I have to admit that I traveled back to see her more than once before finally settling in with a new stylist closer to home. Kat is absolutely amazing and truly exceeded my expectations! I reached out to her on Yelp around 1pm, and she was able to get me in the same day at 5:45pm--so convenient! Before seeing Kat, my hair was a flat, monotone red with noticeable bands of color from a previous stylist's work. Kat completely transformed it. She bleached my hair (which lifted beautifully, especially after a year of being red) and then toned it to the most gorgeous dimensional copper. My original plan was to eventually go brunette, but after seeing this copper, I honestly can't imagine anything better--it's stunning, and I feel like a whole new person. My hair is so healthy now after a good trim and haircut. On top of her talent, Kat is just the coolest and sweetest person. She's so easy to talk to, and we had a ton of fun chatting with lots of shared interests and stories.
