Sweeney Todd came up as having solid reviews and fair pricing. And what a great name for a salon! I was able to get a same day appointment at a time that was super convenient to me. The salon is clean, airy, and contemporary. I was immediately greeted. I wish I had gotten the woman's name who greeted me and cut my hair - she was welcoming and skilled and completed the cut with exactly what I waned and in good time for only $22 (plus tip). Looks like I found my new salon.

I went to Meghan, recommended by my cousin who has been going to this salon for years. For my first time, I made an easy appt online and requested for a cut, blowout, the whole deal. Then my hair was quickly dried . By that point it was looked absolutely fried. I don't doubt that the staff has great skills, but I don't appreciate when a hairdresser doesn't listen to what the client actually wants, and does what they think is best. Ann Marie is a friendly, warm person, but talks A LOT while working on hair. I can't help but think this distracts her. A friend of mine has been going here for years. I thought she was pleased with the service but after having recently moved out of state she told me "She always seemed to do what she wanted, instead of what I wanted." Enough said.

I took my 10 year old to get a wash and blow out. The girl who washed my child's hair was gentle but I had know idea that they would charge an extra $26 for seems like every 20 mins!! She took very long to do my daughter's hair and I am wondering if it was done purposely. I got there at 12:30 pm and left at 3:30pm. I was originally told that it would take 2 hours prior to booking the appt so I am wondering how I got charged 5 times for $26 along with the cost of the wash and blow. I was not even given a heads up by the receptionist until my child's hair was almost finished!!! I end up paying an extra $130 for my child's hair!! And you are tricked because you're not told upfront. So for a 10 year old I paid almost $300. Insane!!! If I knew that's what they do I would have never even booked an appt. I find it crazy that someone would feel good charging $281 for a 10 year old. And to be quite honest my child's hair looked horrible after. No one would ever guess $281 for just paid for her hair. Hope this review and the pictures helps someone with kids!!!
