Even the shopping strip had barn-like buildings and small shops, I felt like I traveled back in time when there was less congestion and crowds, just a small little forgotten section where everything moves a bit slower. Had nice shampoo, with a basic haircut and blow style. The place wasn't crazy busy which I liked. The surprising thing is that nobody was smoking outside the door and there was absolutely no cigarette smell! Even the products they use on your hair didn't have strong fragrances or were fragrance-free. They didn't use anything trendy, just basic. This is not a super trendy place, so if you want someplace relaxing and quiet, basic haircut, then this salon is for you.

She is great, SO sweet, very helpful and polite. Mimi and Allison? are really sweet and very good also. Many people go to Esther as well. The new manager, Nancy, is great. Very understanding and accommodating, also great at doing nails. Everyone says hello when you walk in and bye when you leave. They remember your name so quickly also. It is definitely a pleasant nail salon. There are 2 TVs, 6 massage pedicure chairs and 8 manicure stations. I recently started doing powder gel manicures and I'm obsessed. My only complaints are that there isn't an over abundance of color options (both nail polish and powder) and I like to try different colors. Also, I am often very busy that when I find I have some free time I like to spur of the moment go get my nails done while I have the chance and they're so busy that's not usually an option. I understand that it's not their fault and it shows a good sign that they do a great job, just a heads up to those who might also plan to drop it, there will likely be a wait. Also, they have a hair salon in the back as well. I have had my hair blown out by Rosario and loved it. She also is very nice.

He really puts so much care into the way he cuts my hair, giving so much attention to detail.. really working with the texture and weight of my hair. I get SO many compliments on my cut, and I will always recommend him to anyone locally. When I first moved back to long island (after have living in LA and NYC) I had a hard time finding someone that could really "style" my hair and not just give me a basic cut. When I finally found Antonio, I felt so good leaving his salon with a haircut that suits my personality. It's so rare to find such an amazing stylist on long island, I would compare him closer to the stylists from LA and NYC that I've had my cuts from. If you're looking for a better styled cut, he uses a special calligraphy tool that I haven't seen anywhere else and I also highly recommend! 10/10, he's the nicest human ever and I genuinely enjoy my experience every time I go.
