AMAZING experience First time here & they did not disappoint. I only booked a haircut appointment but Annmarie completely changed my look. I have very thin hair & she gave me a haircut that brought my hair back to life and gave it so much volume and just looks fun and wispy & looks so much healthier. The vibe inside was so welcoming. The receptionist always had a smile on her face, her energy from the beginning is what initially made me feel comfortable. Omg you guys. I found them on yelp while looking for keratin treatment options and came across this spot. Best decision I ever made. Every part was pleasant from the day I booked the appointment to my shampoo, application and walking out the door with beautiful silky straight hair. The staff was lovely, they answered all my questions and made this experience so pleasant! Its been a month later and I'm still in love with the results. Whatever you do, please do not come to this salon. I went one time and got my hair cut by the person in the first chair, I said what I wanted done and the entire time she tried convincing me to cut my hair short and tried to talk me out of the cut I wanted. Then I switched stylists and thought it was just a fluke and I was happy. Fast forward to me recommending to my sister, which I wish I never did because she explicitly asked for 2 inches to be cut and they cut 7 inches off her hair. The stylist tried to gaslight her by saying he only took the 2 inches off, until she showed pictures of the before shot to prove her hair was much longer. In the chair she got upset and he said she "needed it." I don't understand why a stylist, who provides a service just takes these kinds of liberties. To add insult to injury, there was a huge piece of uncut hair left at the back of her head. We measured it and about 6.5-7 inches was cut off. I don't know if the owner tells the stylists to do this but this is the second stylist that has asserted their will over a client's hair and I would caution anyone who would go here. It is totally unacceptable. I think they try and cram a bunch of appointments in on the weekends and don't take their time and they make mistakes like this. read more

There is street parking for $0.25/hr with parking meters and parking lots in the back area. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in by a very friendly woman. I got full highlights, cut, and blow dry. My first time at Adesso did not disappoint. I agree with other Yelpers--this place was clean, welcoming, and the staff was friendly and professional. Nuray did my haircut, conditioning treatment, and blowout. She did a wonderful job and was very personable. I used a Groupon, which people can be weird about, but Nuray treated me like I was paying full price. She did not try to sell me anything I didn't need, but was helpful when I asked about hair coloring, explaining about the products they use and how much services cost. My hair is extremely thin and fragile due to PCOS and other hormonal issues, and I am very self-conscious about going to salons. I have had other stylists who were rude to me about it, but Nuray put me at ease. She took her time (but I was still in and out of the salon in just over an hour) to cut my hair exactly was we discussed, and she really gave me the best blowout I've ever had...my hair was sleek and shiny. I did not interact much with the other staff, but I noticed how unlike other salons I've been to it was--stylists were not standing around chatting among themselves--they were all working, and really seemed focused on their clients. This was my first visit to Adesso. I found a great deal on Groupon for a deep conditioning, cut and blowout. I had the pleasure of having Lexi work with me. She first took the time to discuss what I want to do with my cut and how I wear my hair. I shared that I wanted more body as I'm loosing hair but I want it look full. She explained the products she used for the shampoo and deep conditioning and she gave me a fabulous scalp and neck massage too! When she was cutting it she ensured she would only clean up my ends and add the layers to add body in a natural way. She explained her cutting technique as well. I was in dire need of a haircut/color seeing as I haven't done anything with my hair since December, but I'm a student and therefore on a pretty tight budget. I purchased the Groupon that was available for a Cut, Condition and Blow Out and was scheduled for an appointment with Nuray. Nuray did an excellent job at cutting my hair and the way she cut it definitely brought a lot of volume and life back into it (I've been losing tons of hair due to stress). The blow out was also amazing and actually lasted for two days (which is very rare for my hair!). I scheduled a second appointment for color and was super satisfied with the result (the picture doesn't do it justice!). I wanted a warm caramel color and Nuray was able to find the perfect match after showing her a few pics and describing what I wanted! A few coworkers recommended the salon to me. Since I haven't had a haircut in a while ( a year?) I decided to check it out and get a groupon. It was easy to book an appointment via phone but make sure you know the voucher type. I booked my appointment about 4 days before I wanted to go in before the holidays. Luckily they were available the day I needed my hair done. My stylist was Brittany. She did a great job on my haircut and blow out. I also had a conditioning treatment done which left my hair super soft for about 2 weeks and added extra shine to it. She gave me a quick consultation on what I was looking for and suggested I layer the front of my hair, with a simple trim in the back. I am going to be a bridesmaid and was concerned about cutting it too short. We decided a touchup in early Spring before the wedding would be ideal. I did not have to wait long and enjoyed their Holiday decorations to pass the time. In the middle of the room behind the receptionist was a large round Christmas tree decorated with ornaments. In the window of the salon they had their own winter village! I am not one to talk much during a salon treatment and I liked how Brittany did not push it too much. The salon experience for me is like going to the spa; I like to close my eyes and almost fall asleep. The groupon included a wash, cut and blow out with the conditioning treatment. The cutting itself only took about 20 minutes. She was quick and knew what she was doing. I like the blowout she did on my hair. I was amazed at how much volume my hair had at the end, as each layer was blown out to create a nice Farrah Fawcett type of look I had never head before. I was amazed. I knew that because I was making the appointment the day of there was a chance I wouldn't have the pleasure of having Daniel as my hair stylist. To my surprise, he was the one who took care of me! From start to end it was a pleasant experience. Daniel took the time to speak to me and ask about my hair routine and what I was looking for. Based on his suggestions I knew he was very knowledgeable. Lexi washed my hair and she was super sweet. She explained what she was using on my hair. I was happy to know that the salon uses products that are both paraben and sulfate free. Daniel took his time cutting my hair, and he did not disappoint! I am extremely happy with my hair and I will definitely return in the future. There is a deal (currently) on yelp where you pay $35 for $50 worth of services at the salon. This pretty much covered my wash, cut and blow. I find that the price is reasonable for the services provided as well as the customer service. Another plus is that Daniel gave me a blowout and my hair does not smell burnt at all, in fact it smells great with the products they use.
