All the nail tools are properly sanitized and come out of a wrapped bag. I've been coming here for manicures since October 2023 and I'm extremely satisfied. The owner (Donna) is a caring person that strives for perfection for all the services provided to her customers. Donna has owned nail salons in Northport, Woodbury and Greenvale but now Glen Cove is her only location and worth a visit. Donna has some long-term workers that have followed her for many years from her previous locations. This tells me that she treats her employees well. Blossom also provides body massages and facials. I haven't tried these yet but all the customers I see leaving the store seem to be very satisfied.

(The first time the leading lady tried to convince me to get gel as well but in a much nicer way-so it appears they don't like doing powder and removing it) Once she's done removing my last manicure she pulls out uv gloves and tries to put them on my hands...I asked her if she was going to do UV gel anyway even though I said no....she says yes, I tell her no, she starts complaining again in her language to the technicians near her. I had to ask if she knew how to do powder as I was beginning to get worried. After 2 hours the end result was fine, but in a color other than what I asked for and I'll probably have to go get them redone. So Be warned if you do go here...make sure you get gel! (And bring a translator) *also know they do not give complimentary massages while your nails dry as most other salons in the area do, instead they have a man who asks you if you want a massage, starts and then tells you the fee. Thankfully I picked up on this from seeing him do this to others before he got to me.

Alyssa started off with my legs and worked her way up to my face. By the time I was done, I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep on the table! So so so impressed by Sugared Beauty, I actually ended up signing up for the membership! I can't wait to come back and get another massage, and try some of their other services! The ambiance of the location is so zen, so cute, and so perfect for a relaxing massage. There were a few annoying things that I could do without and they could improve on (they dumped the buckets of foot bath water into the toilet, which is very close by. Though I'd been to her once 2 years before, I was still nervous however once she started massaging I relaxed and though it was painful it was so much better afterwards . The first time I came here the woman giving me a pedicure offered me a massage for my pedicure which I had already had on my gift card. When I went to go pay they told me I asked for another ADDITIONAL massage so I had to pay more $$. I was upset, but paid and let it go. I received an email later from the salon that they would give me a $10 coupon to come back for the miscommunication. So here I am, finally about 8 months later making my way back here to use my coupon. I ask how much for callus removal, which they say $15. Again, overpriced but I accept. The girl doing my pedicure scrubs my feet instead of using the scraper and I ask why she didn't use the scraper. She said they couldn't use it because of covid. Which would have been helpful to know PRIOR to spending the $15. This place is a rip off and I'll never come here again. The pedicure isn't great enough where it's worth $40 even. It's a normal pedicure. There is absolutely nothing special about it. Worst of all they don't care about taking advantage of people and their money. Unfortunately for me, their service has fluctuated a lot and even though I expect the same excellent service like I did the first time, I feel more and more disappointed. One example is the aesthetician leaving the room periodically and for long periods of time during my facial or doing nothing while my mask is setting.
