    I found this salon on Instagram when I was looking to make a change with my hair. I am glad that I found them. I was going for a semi-drastic change to my long brown locks. I wanted black hair with blue/teal peek-a-boos. I was given a color consultation and explained to her what I wanted. We were set...and It was time to make a change to my hair! I was getting a lot done, and I was in that chair for a long time! Roughly 5 hours! I had to get some of my hair bleached for the blue/teal part I was getting done, and then the rest black, and a haircut and a blowout. Lots of work! The stylists continued to come over to me to see if I was okay and if I wanted tea, coffee, water or even a bagel! Not only my hair, but myself as a person was well taken care of during my time at this salon. I don't remember the name of the stylists who worked on my hair (it's been a long day!), and more than one stylist helped me achieve the look I was going for. However, each stylist is very talented and knows what they are doing. I would absolutely return here for any of my hair needs.

    Great stylists on every level; color, cut, special styles. Atmosphere is professional yet warm and friendly. The stylists treat everyone kindly. Times I've been there I have seen people of all ages getting their hair done all looking great. If you're looking for a great experience with skilled stylist this is a must go place.

    The hair stylist was very nice and apologetic BUT I did schedule for an appointment in which I still waited 55 minutes for them to be ready. I think she tried her best based on her experience.... Which meant direction from other stylists.Overall, I'm not in love with my hair but I didn't have a choice being that it made me running late for all my other appointments... Its definitely a good style. Customer service wise, it was a poor experience ( as the owner is talking about her argument with the Chinese man next door so loud that I can hear it across the room) and they were nearly an hour late. My stylist was pretty good; very friendly and hears me out.

    Definitely not worth the price. Be careful if you get color here (or even just a blowout), they will keep adding on and you will not know how much it costs until the end and it will be outrageous. The blackboard outside with specials is also a joke. So many asterisks and caveats, it always ends up being ten times more. I've never experienced such dishonesty and price gouging in my life.

    I've gotten color and blowouts with Karen and loved the results. Prices are moderate in general, but color can get expensive. The staff here is one of the friendliest I've come across in a salon. I've received better service and results here than in other higher end salons I've been to. They have new client specials and ongoing discounts for existing clients.

    THANKFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD GO HERE!!!!!!AWFUL!!! I've been going here for over and year and I absolutely LOVE IT! I moved to a new neighborhood and I figured I would a different place a wow was it a mistake! I have been highlighting my hair for 15 years, and the other salon owner said she would "match" my color by doing a single process...MY HAIR WAS ORANGE!!!!! I went back the following day to have it fixed and rushed to fix it as if she was doing me a favor! After she was done, she asked me if it was "better". Let me tell you it was most certainly WORSE. After a week I could stand to look at myself anymore so I knew the only place that would help me was Salon Danielle Loren! My stylist Shanna could not believe what was done and she said it was in my best interest to make it dark at this time to save the quality of my hair. Thankfully everyone at Salon Danielle Loren is always consistent, accommodating, and talented. Shanna is amazing and she truly cares about savoring the health and quality of my hair! The owner Kathy is kind and friendly to each and every one of her customers. Yesterday I went back in the hopes of restoring the blond highlights I was once so proud to have. Shanna and the entire team made certain to only complete the process of my hair would remain healthy. Shanna took her time and was completely thorough! My color and haircut came out so perfectly that when I left I felt like I could have cried!! This place is amazing and I am happy to give them the recognition they deserve!     I love this salon. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! Shanna does an amazing job every time!

    This was my first time at this salon and I had such a great experience! My hair looks amazing and I'm so happy with it. Kelsey did a wonderful job and I will definitely be going back again!

The person ostensibly cutting their hair was on their cell phone. When I entered, he asked if I had an appointment. I asked, seeing that there was no one else in the establishment, if that were really necessary. He responded yes, and then TURNED HIS BACK ON ME! Now, I'm aware that some places want to keep up a certain level of decorum, or pretension, and might want to insist on appointments, regardless of foot traffic. But where I'm from, turning your back on, someone is considered a slap in the face, and / or grounds for receiving one. Perhaps he didn't like my shirt. Perhaps it's a little too hot for everyone. Perhaps my skin tone didn't live up to his standards. Whatever the reason, rudeness and disrespect are no way to run a business.

    Unprofessionalism & Crude Behavior. On 1/21/2025, I walked out of this barbershop after an…read moreinteraction with the owner, in which he unabashedly disrespected me as a person and customer. To preface this review, it is important to note that I had been a customer many times prior and was always satisfied with my haircuts. Although, I would routinely make online reservations whenever possible to secure my appointment, I would, more often than not, attempt to walk-in when I was in the area and would have moderate success at being seen, that is if there were no conflicting appointments. It was the case, that numerous times I simply couldn't be seen for lack of making an appointment, which is completely understandable. On my way back from work on this Tuesday I happen to be close to the barbershop and as I was passing on Jericho Turnpike, I quickly looked online to see if appointments were taken for the given time slot, around noon time. There were none. Upon entering I informed Rafael that I didn't have an appointment but saw that he ample availability online, inquiring whether I would be able to be seen. I didn't expect what followed afterwards: He signaled for me to take the chair (I sat) and mentioned that my failure to make an appointment was "disrespectful" and posed the question, "why should I take your business? Why should I see you right now." Taken somewhat aback by his demeanor and manner in which he spoke to me--I assumed he was playing around, and I half-jokingly replied that I was a customer and this was a business, one that had taken me as a walk-in more than handful of times--he ripped into me, replying "You think I need your 30$? It means absolutely f**king nothing to me." It didn't stop there; he continued to mouth off reminding me that was his business and he had been working hard too long to tolerate disrespectful behavior, that "he owed me nothing" and I shouldn't make assumptions. Mind you, I had been nothing but courteous up till then but my tolerance was waning. I said I meant no type of disrespect and tried (keyword: tried) to explain that I simply came by, given my proximity, also that there wasn't a notice or sign disallowing walk-ins. He didn't take kindly to the back and forth and cut me off from uttering anything further. He repeatedly cut off my sentences, asking what type of haircut I wanted. Given the unwarranted treatment and insults, I thought it was better that he not cut my hair (would you want someone to begrudgingly cut your hair?) and I took off my barber cape. This enraged him and he told me to "get the f**k out" so I headed towards the exit- we exchanged a few words before I left--ultimately him stating that I was wasting his time. I don't write many reviews but I felt compelled to share this experience so people have an idea of the type of person who runs the establishment. Never again.
