She acted like it was the fault of my hair. Instead of not charging me - since it clearly was her error - she charged me and I tipped her stupidly. The following appointment she applied toner to my hair. She did finally tell me she put the wrong color on my hair. That was the end of that hair salon and owner. Surprised she's still open. That was clearly very unprofessional. I still cringe when I pass by that shop!

I needed that time to allow the last haircut to grow out. I was given an appointment with Barbara who was very nice and friendly. She took the time to speak to me about what I wanted and a lot of time cutting/ styling my hair. The results were amazing, but most importantly, exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately this was after COVID and perhaps having to wear a mask made things a little more complicated but I left with 2 different eyebrows . I actually had family members tell me they were quite uneven . The shape was not at all complimentary which upset me because I'd grown them in for quite awhile . The session just seemed kind of rushed and she seemed uncomfortable and also told me that my fiancé who'd accompanied me this time could not do so again . This would not be a problem for me since he never really comes with me to these appointments but I found her explanation a little odd since the areas are for the most part separated . I also felt her discomfort in a sense which caused me to be uncomfortable . The main problem though is that my eyebrows were just so different . I know that she and another business I'd been to said eyebrows are siblings not twins but they had no discernible shape .I actually left feeling unattractive after I took a better look at them which is not the way you want to feel after a beauty appointment . Even though she did offer to fix them after I contacted her I was just uncomfortable and didn't trust that if I went back there'd be too much removed and that I'd have to wait a long time again before they could even be fixed . I also paid quite a bit for them expecting better; close to $30 with a tip and just felt very unhappy .I'd looked at pictures on her instagram & based on those felt she'd be able to shape them nicely but felt disappointed.

I was desperate because my one brow was higher and thick and the other one low. I looked surprised all the time and the color turned gray. Then I found Wendolyn who did 3 sessions of laser tattoo removal. First session my eyebrows looked in reddish I was little scared but by the Third session it was all gone so I was happy . But then she did combo brows on me and OMG I was in love with my brows and my looks. She is the best in town (Glen Cove ). After me she did all my friends and family and even my friend, from London who was visiting and my niece from Maryland travel to her. She knows what she is doing and still better in pricing then lot of people who charge 800. I'm writing this review because I came across one of the review on yelp by Corinne E. She talked all n native about her but I just want to make a point . I send so many clients to her all my family and friends and she never RIP off anyone she did what needed to be done. If someone needs removal she will definitely recommend it cz sometimes you can't just fix it like mine. And trust me before meeting her I did my research and found which I thought are good because they charged 800 - 1200 for just microblading forget about the removal. And I couldn't afford it. SO HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND now my eyebrows are amazing and people compliment me friends family clients and strangers .
