I needed that time to allow the last haircut to grow out. I was given an appointment with Barbara who was very nice and friendly. I left 5 messages for the manager, she never called back. I called their corporate offices and was told " the matter has been taken care of". It had not. The first time I went, the receptionist was very nice and I purchased some headbands from their selection. The hair dresser who did my hair was not very nice on the other hand. I felt she was very rude right from the beginning. I have had my hair blown out many times, this was the first time I felt my scalp being burned from the blow dryer being too hot. I had mentioned it to the hair dresser several times and no changes were made. My hair was extremely frizzy once the blow drying was complete and I could see all the little broken hairs from the heat being too hot. I went back a second time hoping for a better experience and to give them a second chance. I had gotten busy at work and called them approximately 40 minutes before my appointment time to let them know I may be a few minutes late. I ended up getting there 7 minutes late to be exact. The hair dresser who did my hair made it very clear to me that I was late, as did the receptionist, several times. The entire experience was extremely uncomfortable and I felt awful them having to then rearrange "several" appointments due to me being 7 minutes late. Meanwhile, there was one other person in the salon getting their hair done. After me listening to my hair dresser and the receptionist go back and forth throughout my entire blow out, she proceeds to tell me she won't have enough time to finish my hair. There was one customer waiting (whose hair was already washed by the way) in an otherwise empty salon. She went through not even half my hair with a few curls and told me that was all she had time to do. I thanked her, paid for my hair, and tipped (knowing in my head I would never go back there). I STRONGLY advise against going to this place. There are much better places in the area that are kinder, better at what they do, and more efficient.

We were looking for a down-to-earth, but super talented makeup artist who could provide service for the entire bridal party (and the moms). From the moment we met with Christie, we knew we found the right person. She was quick to aleviate all of our concerns (what about the moms!?) and was fun, easygoing, and had a great sense of purpose. Not pushy at all, just helpful. My (now) wife and I left that first meeting feeling great! So, the wedding happened, everyone was beautiful. Christie was on time, and exactly what we had expected after having meet her just once. To this day, 5 years later, people ask me where "the girls" got their makeup done when they see our wedding pictures. Tip: Christie does more than just Bridal work.
