I am super picky with both my nails and eyebrows but whenever I'm here, I don't ever have that nervous pit feeling in my stomach because I know I am in good hands. Number one thing for me when getting my nails done is cuticles. You can a bad paint job just please make sure to get my cuticles nice and clean, they do just that here. With my eyebrows, I have a rather full pair of eyebrows so any wrong little hair that is removed, I can tell because not only do I have full eyebrows but they are thick too. Juliana, the eyebrow lady there, she always designs my eyebrows nicely. Never removes too much and really takes her time in making sure they are symmetrical. In the past, I got my eyebrows done at a chinese salon and they never took time and gave some tlc to my eyebrows, it was just, 1, 2, 3, done, off you go. Juliana actually fixed the mess they made on my eyebrows because when I came in they were not symmetrical. After two waxes, my eyebrows are now perfect pairs. Now onto the brasilian wax. Let me tell you, I was peeing my pants basically because of how nervous I was of the pain I'd be experiencing while getting this done, but as we always say, beauty is pain. News flash, with Nadia, beauty is not pain, it is pain free actually. Nadia has the lightest and FASTEST hands in the world. Pressed on time and still need a wax? Come to Nadia's salon, she will get everything done in 15 minutes and when you leave, don't worry you will not be left burn or with patches. She has been doing this for years, both in Brasil and here in the states so you know she's set with those skills. I drive out of my way just to go to Nadia for my brasilian wax. Cheaper than European wax center, and a much better and cleaner job.

My stylist dyed my roots too light then "fixed it", my appt was nearly three hours, and it suddenly became $90. She said because I asked her to dye all of my hair which I didn't, I just asked her to match the ends... and clearly she didn't, because my roots aren't fully covered and the color has already started fading in one week. She also got dye all over my face mask, inside my ears, and on my neck.

I literally wrote her at like 8AM for a VERY LAST MINUTE SAME DAY appointment and she responded, was professional and OVERSTOOD the assignment! I liked that I was able to text her my inspiration of what I wanted and she told me exactly what to book, so there were no surprises in pricing. I also really liked that I was able to pay for my appointment in full on the site. When I walked in I felt comfortable and the place was clean! Her playlist was lit too, I was trying to stay still but it was so good I wanted to keep singing. At the last minute I asked her if she had space for my mom to get her makeup done and she took my mom right on the spot with no last minute fees. I got dressed in the shop and took my hair down while there and Bella even helped me. I was running late so I was rushing getting dressed and my zipper on my pants popped and she literally came to the rescue, trying to help fit it and perfect my outfit. I was so antsy, she was like maybe wear a longer shirt, thankfully I had a few shirts with me and I had one, but it wasn't the look I was going for. I specifically told her this was my third time sugaring, and shortly afterward she started explaining things to me as though it were my first time. It was a little frustrating because I had literally just told her I'd done this before. The bigger issue, though, was the actual Brazilian. Later that day when I got home, I noticed quite a few small hairs still remaining on one side. At first I didn't think it was a huge deal because they weren't very noticeable. But then I took a closer look and realized there were several long, dark hairs completely missed on the inner labia. For a Brazilian, that's a pretty significant area to miss. A few stray hairs wouldn't have bothered me, but this was much more than that. I really wanted this to be my new go-to spot, especially because the location is so convenient, but unfortunately the quality of the service just wasn't there. I won't be returning.

Anywho... to me, the application of the sugar wax was more painful than the ripoff. I'll definitely try this again because it did last a little longer than regular waxing.
