Came across this randomly and was SO impressed with not only their accommodations for hijabis (a fully furnished private room with full sink, tools, etc) but also how kind the entire staff was! Anjelica washed my hair & Dina cut it, and they were both SO kind and sweet and talented. When the wait between wash/cut was a bit extended, Anjelica offered tea/coffee in between. They also recommended a place I can donate hair too. The cut was super cute and overall I left feeling very satisfied and happy. This is a fantastic salon -- from their diversity to accommodating, kind staff to skilled services to very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a haircut, whether you need the private room or not!

I have plenty of horror stories from when I first moved down to Orlando and I didn't want to repeat that sad chapter in my life. Luckily, a friend came to the rescue and recommended Anna at Bella Mia. Bella Mia is located on the back side of the Maitland Exchange, just past the Publix Plaza on 17/92 in Maitland. It's a lovely salon, filled with some very nice people. Anna has been cutting my hair for 8 months now and I couldn't be happier. Anna listens, makes recommendations and is a total doll. She has shaped up my hair and it's happier than ever. LOVE Anna!!! Plan on booking 2-3 weeks out, as she fills up and so do the other stylists. I've seen some great looking cuts and coloring services leave that salon. If you are looking for some fun services, like Hair Bling, check them out! Every snip shows, so finding someone who specializes in precision cutting was a challenge. I was referred to Marianna at Lucia Benjamin and I have never been happier with my hair. She has a unique process. While most places Iv been have taken me straight to the shampoo bowl, Marianna took me to her chair for a full on consultation. She examined my hair and then started the cut dry. I was then taken to the sink for a wash. They use Oribè products in the salon, amazing scent and makes my hair feel like silk. After the wash I get a blow dry and then she texturizes. The cut feels unique to me which is so rare to find since a lot of cuts Iv had have seemed textbook and not suitable for my hair texture. I'm so happy to have found such an amazing stylist to loves what she does and puts her heart into it. If you are looking for a change and just tired of searching I would highly recommend Marianna at Lucia Benjamin!

Giving Thanks on this weekend…read more... This review of Melanie comes with such gratitude and love. I received a last minute work assignment notice to Florida. My hair looked like it needed a haircut and a color (bad!). Melanie was kind enough to come in on her day off and on a moments notice! I knew I needed to color my hair but this kind and generous woman had already accommodated me by coming in on her day off. I was NOT going to ask for that additional labor. I was happy with the cut. But she she just couldn't let me go without having my color done. So what does she do? She canceled her appointment so that she could do my color! The atmosphere in the salon was very fun, we were laughing and joking throughout my entire time there. Very positive energy. I have short hair and the cut is very cute and the color has lasted. I have waited 30 days to make this review so that it would be honest and accurate. I will travel up to Lake Mary to have follow up cuts while I'm in this area working. I cannot thank Melanie enough for what she did for me. You won't go wrong getting a haircut here. And the price is a third of what I was paying in Austin, Texas and the Oakland County, Detroit, Michigan metro area. Highly highly recommend.

Awful service, worst salon I've ever been in. Bad Experience…read moreSorry to say but this beauty salon has to be the worst experience ever. Bad service, the timing was ridiculous ( they kept me waiting around forever) I left this salon with a headache from the stress I had there. I drove there for about ONE hour to get a haircut with Michelle but she never showed up and I was told by the other stylist that Michelle texted my sister to cancel the appointment two days before the appointment time which was a total LIED. Because she didn't want to admit that she forgot the appointment with me. This business doesn't know how to pay respect to customers' time and effort. No wonder why they didn't have any customers when I got there. Please it's an insult to charge what they did for the service received. The staff are unfriendly and have an awful atmosphere. I would never return to this salon even if they offered me a free service. They are desperate for customers and I see why.

But she didn't show up for 10 mins so, we asked if we could reach Michelle out because we have another place to go after. So, that lady went out to make a phone call and came back saying that Michelle texted and left a voicemail to me yesterday that she cancelled my appointment. I showed my phone to the lady that I didn't get any text or voicemail. She only said I'm sorry and resumed her work. It was a huge lie and I was so upset with that. We drove 30 mins there and waited for nothing. Now I have to go to the gathering without having a haircut. We would have kept waiting longer and wasted more time if we didn't ask where she was at. After all this time, I was basically told I should go somewhere else when I asked if some roots that were missed could be gone over again.
