Kelly was my stylist and had an amazing vibe, super sweet personality. Probably the nicest workers at a salon I've ever experienced, everyone made sure I was okay while I waited. I have been going here since 2019. I have had some issues with my color being correct as I am going from red to blonde but have enjoyed the service and people. After all this time, I was basically told I should go somewhere else when I asked if some roots that were missed could be gone over again. I hated to ask in the first place, but the difference was very visible. Instead of taking the time to go over it with me and see if this was something that could be achieved, they completely brushed me off. I have really tried to make it work with them including offering to go back to my natural but for some reason they decided it was not worth their time. That doesn't sit right with me. There are some really fantastic people there and I will miss working with them. I have since moved on and have found a new atmosphere refreshing. read more

This was my first time going and definitely last. I had booked the appointment wanting to go back to my root color which is a dark blonde with some natural looking highlights throughout. I left the salon after 5 hours with basically white hair and orange roots with my natural color showing throughout the orange. It was so bad that I had to go back into the salon that same day and ask them to fix it. They proceeded to add brown toner on top of the bleach job they had just done leaving me with weird splotchy brown ish blonde hair. It was so bad that I had to go to a completely different salon for them to fix it because Kendall and Kendall didn't. They also cut curtain bangs when I didn't ask for them/want them. I also find the prices to be totally unreasonable especially when they still botched my hair. read more

I cannot tell you how much I adore this salon and on National Hairstylist's Day I couldn't think of a better present than a glowing review. I have been going to Cindy at Kendall and Kendall for at least 10 years. She is amazing at both cut and color. Honestly, from what I've observed while sitting in the chair, they are all excellent in their field as well as in customer service. Cindy asks each visit how my hair has been doing and will make suggestions about what we should do during that visit. I love her. I write this review during a pandemic when most of us are staying home and the salon had to close for everyone's safety. One day I received a text from Kendall asking if I would like her to deliver a color kit so I could color my roots. Now THAT is customer service above and beyond. To preface this review I have naturally curly hair. It can be very frizzy and tight curls in some areas but looser and softer in most areas. I struggle to find a beautician who knows what to do with naturally curly hair and it's worth every penny to me when I find one. Last year after having some issues with prior hairdressers I found Jessica at Kendall and Kendall and decided to give her a try for both hair color and a haircut. She did a nice job and I scheduled a follow up appointment. However, before my appointment she left candle and candle and somehow my appointment wasn't on the books so I only found out a day or so before my scheduled appointment when I called to confirm. I was very upset because I travel a lot for work and it's very difficult for me to get appointment scheduled. However, the owner personally got on the phone with me and offered to do my hair for me at that point. She also offered that if I could wait a couple days and come in late in the day after work, she would have Lisa do my hair. Lisa trained at bumble and bumble and so knows curly hair and has naturally curly hair also. I opted to wait for Lisa who did my hair color and also cut my hair and did a fantastic job on both. I have been back twice since for trims and hair color and the service has been phenomenal. I am very pleased with how Kendall and Kendall handle the situation and they went above and beyond to keep my business. read more

Kendall and kendall has been my go to for my hair for quite a few years now- I will not go to anyone else! I used a previous stylist who moved and she referred me to Deanna who I see now and she is a great fit! She does an amazing job at color, cuts and styling- she always has perfect recommendations for me as I can be indecisive when trying new things. She's also great at product recommendations. Aside from Deanna, all of the other girls in the salon are great as well. Its definitely a fun vibe in the salon. Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I would trust my hair with any of them. I did not have a good experience here. I had seen their ad promoting their speciality in color service. After explaining what I was looking for and showing a few photos, the woman working with me colored and highlighted my in a completely different way. Not what I was looking for -- had two very light but thick "stripes" much like that of a woman of the evening, as it were, near my face. Gave her an out as it was the first time. Gave her one second shot, since she seemed nice. The second time was incredibly worse. When I asked why she did what she had done even though I had asked for something different, her response was "I know what looks best on you." YIKES! This salon isn't horrible by any means. But for what they charge, their services do not meet expectations. I've been twice now and both times I have been unimpressed. The first time I had asked for ash brown low lights and after a lengthy consultation (at a special visit.. they made me come up the day before my appointment), I thought we were on the same page. However at the end result, even the stylist commented on a warm tone to the color. Then her $65 haircut was feathering my ends and maybe took 5 minutes. Fast forward to the second visit (because I'm a glutton for punishment but wanted to give this salon one more chance) I went to another stylist. After showing her a picture of white toned blonde hair (my hair is already pretty blonde), I was left with dark brown, splotchy pieces at my roots and down the shaft from what the stylist said was her "purple shampoo". She washed it out a little more and threw in some more high lights but I was severely disappointed with the final product as it was still brassy and orange toned (the orange I've been trying to remove since the last girl...) If I had paid less than I did, these mistakes might be easier to swallow, however when you're spending over $200 for highlights alone, the bar is higher. I've had better results at much cheaper salons and will not be returning here again. They did contact me and offer for me to come back to add more highlights in, but I really don't have the time or even want to sit in that chair again for hours for them to maybe finally get it right. Beautiful work! I receive so many compliments on how natural my color is, which is what I think makes this salon special. If you want gorgeous and flattering color, you have to see the girls at Kendall&Kendall. I see Kendall for my color and she is truly gifted. I walk out of the salon feeling great with the work she has done -- she always knows what I'm going for and I completely trust her to do what will look right on me. Plus she's so personable! The space is warm, open, and clean, with lots of natural light pouring in through the large front windows, and the location right off of Park Ave is perfect. I've been looking for a talented and trustworthy hairdresser in Orlando for a while. I'm so glad I finally found her! I've been to Danielle twice now and I've been so happy with the results every time. She knows exactly what I want and I feel so understood when I explain what I'm looking for. She always manages to give me exactly what I asked for and it just always looks so flattering! I appreciate that she explains everything she's doing and why. I got curtain bangs last time and I was so nervous but she made me trust again, they look amazing! And I should also mention that I have curly hair and she is the only person I've found that knows exactly what my hair type needs and how to make it more flattering. A warning about this salon, Run!!! Like the other woman's review on here!! These photos are suppose to be a full head of hi Lites with a senior stylist, Amanda. This mess you see cost $207.00 w/ blow out. They were closed after I discovered the mess & we had to go back to NY before they would open on Tues. I sent these photos to co owner, I live in NY. I'm use to getting beautiful pale hi Lites at my hairdresser in NY. I was left with a mess underneath, random, no pattern, brassiness, gaps. And no refund..I discovered the disaster the next day, underneath!!! Co owner said no refund!!!! It cost me $225.00 with my NY hairdresser to fix this. The co owner said he TRUSTS HIS STYLISTS, What?? That's like saying I'm a liar!!! That is the worst part of it, EVEN WITH 5 proof photos of mess. How one can look at these photos and deny a client is beyond me!!! Avoid this place, the manager does not belong in the business, he's greedy and money hungry & really doesn't care about his clients satisfaction. When I went in this salon, I thought it looked like a very professional hair salon. This stay in Florida was the time I needed a touch up, so for the MAN (who also wrote his little review, right after I gave mine, "Uncle Tanoose") who gives his lovely review on the wonderful girls there, and telling ME I should get my HAIR CUT in NY....it was NOT JUST A HAIR CUT, IT WAS A HIGHLIGHT!!! And my photos I placed say it all!!! It was a disaster, and cost me over $200.00!! Then to have the manager not compensate after the mess was even worse, because I had to fork up another $225.00 to get it corrected. Amanda was not at her best the day she did my hair.. or anywhere near it!!!! The manager just did not care, why? Because he knew I did not live in Florida, he probably thought I'd never come back. Well, money hungry manager, I would of come back, if you had been fair to me!! We stay in Florida often. $450.00 on my hair that week!! Awful place!!! Beware out of town-ers!!! I LOVE this salon! I first came to Kendall and Kendall years ago with extremely damaged hair, courtesy of box bleaching I did at home and perms I decided I needed in high school ( don't judge me we all had that phase haha). I went in with every intention of cutting it off and starting over...not something I was particularly excited about. I met with the stylist Kaitlin, who is extremely sweet and accommodating, and by some miracle she was able to save my hair without shaving it off! Don't get me wrong it took some time but I was incredibly grateful. I have been a faithful customer for years now and my hair is halfway down my back and healthy as ever! So I am a naturally nervous, sarcastic and rather raucous person... and I felt right at home with Lisa. She looks young, and has beautiful loooong hair that is untouched (currently) by color. However, don't let her au naturelle look fool you... she is a cutting an color magician. I walked in a nervous wreck with roots for days and she took my ideas and put them into a reality, which is often unusual for a first go-round. There are a few things that I will ask her to differently next time, but that's just the normal part of figuring each other out and learning the way each of us works.
