I worked a half day and stopped by here afterwards to have my hair done. I had to park a ways across the street but the location was not hard to find at all. It seems small but upon entering this salon opens up nicely. I love the decor and color themes....light cream, greys, blues - very beach like. Inside was very clean and work stations were in neat order. Nicole was my stylist and she was super nice. She listened to what I wanted done and did an excellent job. I went from long, dark and dry hair to short shoulder length hair with layers and highlights. She curled and styled it for me before I took off and I seriously feel 5 years younger lol. I've actually received compliments since then and it takes me less time to style and take care of my hair now. Super happy customer, will definitely be returning. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Ashley told me that she had client coming in soon for a quick haircut. I said okay no problem. We did highlights and I went to the heater in the shampoo room at 4:45pm. 5:00 she shampoos my hair and puts toner on it. 5:10 she washes out my hair and the person shows up. At this point she leaves me in a chair in shampoo room and goes to the person to do the haircut. My hair is wet and dripping and I'm cold. At 5:45 comes to get me to blow dry. This is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was not going to get a hair cut, I just needed a blow dry and I would have been out the door. She should have finished my appointment first with a blow dry and then focused on the next client.

My issue was specifically with one hairstylist and how my situation was handled. After my appointment, I noticed two very obvious bleach lines at the front of my hair near my face. It genuinely looked like two stripes of bleach if I wore my hair up. I reached out and asked if it could be fixed. I was brought back in, but there was never any apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. More bleach was added to try to cover it, but the lines were still visible afterward, just slightly less noticeable. I was even told, "As long as you don't wear your hair up, it should be fine," which was frustrating to hear, given the issue was still there. When I contacted the stylist again after getting home, instead of taking responsibility, she blamed my hair, saying it was because of my widow's peak. She also refused to issue any refund. What disappointed me most throughout the entire experience was the lack of accountability and basic customer care; not once was there an apology. I understand mistakes can happen in hair services, but professionalism and how those mistakes are handled matter just as much as the result.

Before coming here, I never trusted barbers due to multiple bad haircuts but wow, Lizbeth changed my whole life and perspective on that by always being extremely attentive and diligent to my hair. Since I visit every couple months, I find it sweet that Lizbeth always remembers small details about me (like my cat, my attempts to cook, etc.) and it's nice to have such lively conversations that makes the appointment feel like a breeze. The salon is quite cozy, every time I've visited everyone seems comfortable and content as the barbers and owner are really friendly and kind! I have nothing but positive things to say about this salon. The energy in the salon is relaxed, welcoming and warm. The stylists all really like and respect each other and you can feel that energy. Every time I have gone to Vanessa for cut and color of my totally grey hair I leave feeling refreshed youthful and 100% happy with outcome. Vanessa listens closely to what I'm looking for in color and style, and has advice and guidance on my changing aging hair. I popped around multiple salons prior to finding Vanessa and E street. I have found my forever salon. I should have written this review many years ago! All 5's from me!
