This was my first time so upon arrival Dani walked me through the style book and my options. Then she washed my hair and got to work drying and styling! I was in and out within an hour. I also paid at the appointment so two charges for the same day for one blowout processed on my credit card. I called 4 days later once I noticed and was told a manager wasn't onsite but they'd leave my name and number for the following day. That was 5 days ago and I haven't heard back or recieved a refund. I called again and was told the same thing about a manager not being a site and taking my name and number. Disputed the charge with my bank which is now an unnecessary long process because this place couldn't take 5 minutes to make it right.

MOST AWFUL EXPERIENCE:: BUYER BEWARE…read more Would give a 0 if I were able to! I had the most awful experience at blo blow dry bar in Franklin lakes. I Went there for a dry hair style (curls) for an occasion where we were taking pictures. I have A LOT A LOT of hair. Like every hair stylist/ hair cutter has commented on how much hair and volume I have. Not more than 45 min after my appointment I left looking greasy (it's very hard for that to even happen to me, but I guess the products they use look greasy) And my curls were gone, my hair looked stringy and flat. Not sure what tools they use but they aren't professional I couldn't even believe how flat and gross it looked (it looked dirty). I was there for an hour and a half, and mind you I went in with dry hair not wet. I had to completely start over to fix it. I called them back 3 days ago. The manager there, Karina felt that I wasn't worth her time to get back to me. She left me an initial voicemail and told me she was free to talk to me all day Friday and every time I called the front desk girls would say oh she'll call you at this time and then she never would. I also asked for them to get her so that we could speak for 1-2 minutes. She refused because she was "too busy." I finally got a call back from a manager at another location From Eileen. I asked them for a refund since what they did to my hair was atrocious. They keep giving me the run around and even asked me to come back another time ( NO THANK YOU! ). Has anyone else had an experience like this there? I just can't believe how disrespectful they are there and also how awful my hair looked. Spread the word so this doesn't happen to you. I even went to look at reviews and I'm not the only one this had happened to. Looked like 10 other women had just around the same experience as mine. With how expensive things are these days I feel that it's unacceptable. Also kindness go ways further than rudeness. Eileen called me back with a very fake nice persona telling me that I won't be getting a refund and that I can come in and they will do my hair again. HA! no thanks! I don't think I will be ever wasting my time at that place ever again. Spare yourself! Go somewhere else!

Refreshments are offered, and the chairs that you sit in while having your hair washed are massage chairs! I came in for a balayage and desperately needed some TLC for my 2 year grown out very long hair. Kylie did an incredible job and was super friendly and informative during the whole process. She even came in early so that I would be able to get to work on time! She also gave me a trim and was very considerate of the fact that I wanted to keep the length long. Overall, my hair came out so beautiful and healthy.. I am slightly obsessed haha. I am already planning on coming back in a few months for a trim and touch up!

UM NEW OWNER ALERT!!! And wow is it OBVIOUS!…read more I recently had the absolute JOY of visiting Moxie Bar, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a self care, all about me world! First up, Jackson worked his magic on my hair. Not only was he ridiculously talented, but he also became my personal hair guru, dropping knowledge bombs like "Did you know this product could help with XYZ" without making me feel like I was in a lecture. My hair has never looked better, and I walked out of there feeling like I was finally in the know about how to help elevate my hair and give it the TLC it deserves. Then, Sofia took over with my makeup, and I swear, it was like meeting an old friend. We hit it off immediately (because also who doesn't love a good chit-chat while getting some glam?), and she made me feel so at ease that I forgot I was even sitting in a chair getting glammed up. Her skills were out of this world, she highlighted my features like a pro, but kept everything super natural. I have to admit, I was very surprised I loved it so much. I normally do my own makeup, but have to admit, girls got talent!! By the end, I felt like a million bucks you know, the kind of million bucks that doesn't even need a receipt. Honestly, walking out of Moxie Bar was like stepping into a whole new level of confidence and beauty. It was an unforgettable experience. Not only will I definitely be back, this new owner definitely knows what she's doing. Everyone was so nice and super talented. And the place is gorgeous. When you go, tell em Bri sent ya!
