I have gone there for 4 years since buying a home 2.5 miles away. It has been a good place for me. I just took my 20 year old daughter there for an end trim of not more than 1.5 inches which she showed the male stylist... and once her glasses were off and she couldn't see what he was doing he decided to cut off 8 or more inches of her hair. She went in with hair below mid back with blonde ends which she has been growing for YEARS! IN MOMENTS HE MASSACRED HER HAIR AND TOOK 2 YEARS OFF IT!!! It is now just below her shoulders. On his own he decided to take all the color out of her hair. Who is he to decide and go against her request? That is as close to a consent violation and assault as there can be to someone who has dyed their hair for years and made it a part of who they are and what they portray a out themselves. My daughter has anxiety dbsorder and asthma. She has been brought up to remain calm until she can unload it all in a safe spot because people don't help at all if you are excited and react in a business. I paid $40 and tipped $8 and walked with her talking on the way to my truck, she got in where she felt safe and just exploded in tears, shaking, hyperventilating, dropped the seat back and just heavingly cried. Any person going to a hairstylist the first time has anxiety. You trust that they know what they are doing, are qualified, will listen and can then execute what you ask for. For many, a person's hair is part of who they are and the style of self image they want to express to the world. This butcher took that from my daughter in seconds. You can accidentally go 2 inches when 1.5 is asked for... maybe even 3 for a mistake... but 8 or more? Really?!? I tried calming her as best I could, turned around in the lot and drove back to talk to the stylist. The receptionist said he left for lunch just after we left. I asked for the manager. Nice guy. Made no excuses. Didn't cut me off, and asked what I wanted to happen. I told him I need someone to come out to the truck and see the state this putting her in and apologize. He did that. He talked to her a bit. He let her know he wished he could put it back. Obviously... there is no fix other than time now. Dad did what he could and tried to hold someone accountable... but ‍ No offer of money back when I mentioned paying $40 + $8 tip to have my daughter traumatized. Don't anyone comme and say, "well you didn't ask"...folks, the mear mention of the amount and the obvious screw up and fact I am back needing help from the manager to give my daughter any peace at all should make it clear a refund is the least they can do. No... I am not going to call and ask. No I am not going to change my feelings and go again myself even if they did fine by me these past 4 years. I gave my number when I .are her appointment for 1:00 today. They have my number if they think they need to talk. I will leave my comments here and hope people read it, consider it, and make darn sure through questioning, that their stylist knows exactly what is wanted. Then make them stop after the initial cut and return glasses if needed to confirm they are right. Do that while it can be mitigated if wrong, even though not truly fixable. This was just a total FUBAR situation for my daughter. Dad got her ice cream, and she is resting in her room with her service support dog. I hope it all helps. Michael has been cutting and coloring my hair for 4 years now. I drive an hour just to get my haircut by him. He cuts my hair exactly the way I want it cut. He is an amazing colorist as well. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a great stylist! read more

These people know hair! They're good and knowledgeable at what they do. The only thing that really upsets me is that I have been going there since 2019. After Covid hit and they were forced to shut down like many businesses when they reopened I felt that they were charging a little too much for a few things that were not normally very high. I'm guessing they're trying to make up for being closed during Covid??? But I think what is making me officially not go there anymore is that when I went in during my lunch break for one small thing they didn't mention to me that they had two families scheduled to come in after I got there with appointments. Both families had two teenage boys that were getting their haircut, and one of them the mother was getting something done to her hair. It was getting to be about five minutes before I was due to go back to work and I notify them to let them know I would be a little late and I didn't get anything done. I really would've appreciated being told that there were some appointments coming in. I totally understand having an appointment versus being a walk-in.. no problem. I probably would've made an appointment if I knew when exactly I would be going to lunch. If they told me that I would've maybe set up a time to go back. Next-door is a nail salon and I went in there and they did my eyebrows in less than five minutes and I was surprised at how amazing they look. It seems like nobody ever goes into that little nail salon! I took a chance with them and I'm very happy and I also found out that they're cheaper. The difference is two dollars, but it made my day! One of the ladies that I work with told me that she used to go get her hair trimmed with them, and she learned that they'll pretty much keep you sitting there because they want to make a buck. They don't want you walking out. She said they would not tell me that they were busy because they wouldn't want me to leave and miss out on a sale. Would I recommend this place? Maybe. Depends on what you need done. They are good with hair and waxing services! Would I go back though? Most likely not. read more

UPDATE: BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM ALL HAIR4ALL LOCATIONS! On 2/12/15 THE OTHER LOCATION NEAR THE CHESTER WALMART DENIED ME SERVICE IN RETALIATION FOR THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW OF THE OTHER LOCATION! I originally only had a complaint against the other (Chesterfield) location, but now it's the other (Chester) location too! They had me go all the way to my appointment after I told them about my bad experience and the told me they were denying me service because of my review! What business does that? That should tell you what a lousy, dishonest establishment ALL locations are. Avoid these places like the plague if you wish to be treated with the respect you deserve as a customer! Here is my original review that caused this "business" to retaliate against me: Just got back from the worst haircut I have ever had in my life, which is saying something. Looks like someone put an IRREGULARLY shaped bowl over my head and then cut it while having a seizure. The back and sides are awful. Was impossible to see just how bad given the lighting in the place. I held the mirror up and told the "stylist" I couldn't tell, but assumed it was fine. I asked for a TRIM and instead he cut it super short all the way around the back and sides at the bottom, they left it long without so much as bothering to blend it together. Awful! And aside from the horrible haircut, the service was horrible as well. My stylist kept yapping with the stylist beside him and answering the phone. He squirted so much water on my (fine) hair that it was running down in my shirt. This place has earned my Yelply wrath as the worst hair experience I've ever had other than the time I self-inflicted myself with jet black hair dye over my blonde hair. read more

Took my husband to get a haircut here for couple of reasons. It was $10 and the women in his family come here to get their hair cut. I personally have not enjoyed his haircuts from hair salons anywhere. These ladies do better with womens hair. I gave 2 stars because the blonde woman cutting his hair was trying to be accomodating as possible to appease what look he was going for. I appreciate that much but we are just looking for a regular permanent barber that will cut his hair the right way and doesn't leave. No offense to all hair dressers, you have a tough job and your shoulders and wrists are killing you I know, but I think there should be more reviews about these hair places for men's hair. read more

I love this salon. I have been a customer for about 4 years, when my regular stylist moved, I was shocked that one of the owners offered to style my hair. I assumed there was a waiting list for the expert stylist....but no, she cut, colored and highlighted my hair and I love, love, love it. I always liked what my other stylist did, but she never WOWed me....Tulay WOWed me! I went in the other day for a root touchup and Tulay advised that due to breakage and frizz I should change to a sulfate free shampoo, which I did. She also mentioned that I should consider a keratin treatment. I have an appt for this and will update on the cost, time and how long it lasts. This salon is ALWAYS busy, but they work fast and professional. walk-ins welcome too. read more

won't be going back to hair 4 all again, they let the best hairdress go they had, , she as the only one I trust with my hair. I guess the owner doesn't know a good thing when she had one. Just because someone has some bumps in the road and has to take care of her family, you don't get rid of them.. Sorry but the only reason I went to hair 4 all is because Chelsie went there from another place. I wouldn't go to anyone other than her.
