The original manufacturer could not provide individual pieces but Jorge found a similar one that is nearly identical. Jorge approaches issues creatively. Instead of just replacing the siding (which was at a very visible spot in our backyard), he decided to take siding from the side of the house that is covered and use that at the back of the back of the house. That way, the siding all matched in the back where people hang out. The new pieces (which were very close to the original pieces) were put up on the side behind bushes. His knowledge about siding is high-level -- he knows his stuff.

Your workers were polite and did great work when installing the roof. The paperwork side of things it is a different story. I had to "track down" the project coordinator multiple times. First, to schedule a time for him to come out with my insurance adjuster was going to be there. He, the project coordinator, did not show up when he said he would. Luckily, the insurance company still approved the work. Second, once the job was scheduled to find out what time the supplies would be dropped off and the work would begin. I had to call twice to get that information and still did not get a straight answer about the supplies. This was very frustrating as we wanted to make sure someone would be home when the work was completed. Lastly, to get the certificate of completion as required by my insurance company and the bill. The form for the bill was a little confusing and I wanted to make sure I was filling it out properly it took some time to get an answer about payment and I ended up calling the office to make sure payment was made properly. Overall, I would recommend the company for roofing work as they work itself was fantastic but, be prepared to have to track down the project coordinator for important information.

Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. It is not a simple fix but an upgrade, for free. See the attached before/after pictures and the broken plastic. Like most customers, I contacted a few contractors before selecting Winfield Builders. Their price is VERY reasonable, and the communication through Yelp was professional and transparent. It is rare to find a contractor who cares this much about the details. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Since then, we have gotten copies of our warranty and the guarantees. And the company has reached out twice to ask if we have any questions and to ensure that we are happy with our windows. We are. Robert, Sky NRG's CEO, was present during the installation, underscoring their commitment to customer satisfaction.
