We went back to the front desk and there were many frustrated customers dealing with the same issue. Whyyyyyyh would you not tell someone where to go when they check in? I honestly think that it is because it is a little fun joke amongst the staff members. There are no USB plugs in the room, there are no outlets in the bathroom or near the bed, and the place is not clean. If this joke amongst staff members were abolished and the above mentioned items were addressed, this would be an ok place to stay. On the other hand, the buffet breakfast was out of this world amazing. Hence, the two stars. 5 stars for the breakfast!

I used the gym and it was better than most hotel gyms back home! The best part of my stay was the unique feel that I would not get by staying in any regular hotel in Dublin! I tried the restaurant downstairs and the wings were some of the best I've ever had!

The staff were pleasent enough and they did bring the coffee outside for me it could be a gem but it is not. Inside struck me as grubby also. When will hotels, pubs and clubs realise that we know they have put a dark carpet down to hide the dirt but that is what it does - hide the dirt. Huh and as for 'Health & Safety' ban carpeting in public areas....and allow dogs as they happen to be cleaner than children and most adults. The restaurant / bar is quite spaceous and I've been there a few times on a Saturday around lunch time when it was rather quiet but also once on a Wednesday evening when it was very busy and lively. No matter if it was busy or quiet the staff was alway very friendly and attentive. It's comfortable to sit in the bar and the food is good, prices normal. So nothing too outstanding - good or bad.
