We highly recommend Town & Country plumbing. Note: Last year we called someone to finish the drywall in our bathroom windows. It was neatly done but little did we know that a nightmare is about to happen. Israel drained out "mud" from the toilet drain causing slow draining of water. Note 2: we barely use the toilet thus it's only now that we have discovered this.

Customer service is very good from this company- Will listened to my concerns and then showed me where the service call disclaimer/pricing is. Yes, it's there...on the last page before you confirm your booking. As someone who builds websites, whoever built this site didn't look at how everything looks on ALL devices. The font is small and when you confirm your booking, you really can't tell what you're agreeing to. With that said, Will refunded the service fee and we both agree how important transparency is. My two star review is now simply based on the price of their service, not for the customer service. A 35 minute job, replacing a condensate pump and testing the system shouldn't cost $886. _________________________________________________________________________ Original review posted 6/15/2026 While the technician was very friendly and I appreciated the email/text with his name and picture...here's where the problem lies...(and not with the technician AT ALL- he did his job, truly) The price they quoted to replace the condensate pump, connect to the existing drain system and test for proper operation- 886. After the friendly tech told me the quote, I did some quick research... For my area, my house layout, ease of accessing the HVAC system....a rough estimate is anywhere from 300-600. I told the service tech I was referred by a friend...any referral discounts? Any yelp discounts? He checked with the office...nope. Nothing. We found condensate pump online and in big box stores for literally 1/8th of their price...and we're going to fix it ourselves. Nothing motivates you more than getting an estimate where you know you're being price gouged. Oh, be prepared to pay $89 for a service call...but they'll waive it if you have them do the work...@@ And there was no mention of a service fee until I told the tech the price was super high. Nothing on their website or when you make an online appointment- which is how I made the appointment. No mention of it in their multiple email confirmations, or text confirmation. And even when Allie called this morning to reschedule from 12-2 to 2-4, there was NO mention of a fee. If I knew there was a fee, I would've cancelled my appointment. Sneaky tactic! Hard pass.

For example, the install went in through the intake duct and not through a smaller access opening that's been scuffed up and slightly damaged by other HVAC companies. In addition, he recommended a larger intake duct to more adequately handle the airflow volume, which was not mentioned by "The White Glove Guys!" The cost was reasonable given recent inflation to replace our older system, and I expect we will be using Thompson for the foreseeable future!

The five companies were all professional and detailed in their quotes but Daniel from Coast to Coast Plumbing stood out. I was on a mission to get new pipes but he gave me so much more info during his visit that I had to pause and think about. This didn't benefit him at all He showed up on time and gave us several options. I listed only two below. 1 Re pipe with Pex He disclosed the warranty is valid if the pipes fail. But with incorrect pressure (too high) it can damage the pipes and cause flooding thus cancelling warranty. This was important info. However they offer to come out annually to do check ups There is drywall repair to consider. Depending on the work involved that would be determined after the repipe. Quote was the most reasonable one and 50% less than the highest 2. Purchase a leak detector unit and monitor for leaks. He leaned toward this suggestion. He noted that the house occupied by my 89 year old mother would get extremely dusty and no matter how much they cover and protect she will be exposed to it. They have to cut walls etc to get to pipes. He also recalled her lung issues. (What a memory !) He also stated the drywall restoration after the cut outs to repipe can be costly Without saying it (important mom's quality of life ) he laid out the best case scenario for us. We will postpone the re pipe and in the near future go with the less invasive method of monitoring for leaks. Purchase the Moen leak detector and have Daniel install . It makes sense, and is the best step forward I will update once we go forward with that. I highly recommend Daniel and Coast to Coast .
