The dry cleaning itself was fine, but my experience with their tailoring service was the worst I've ever experienced. I brought in a very expensive suit jacket to have the sleeves shortened. They assured me they handle high-end suits regularly, so I trusted them. When I picked it up a week later, I discovered they had shortened the sleeves without moving the sleeve buttons -- something that should be standard with proper tailoring. When I pointed it out, they acted surprised and said it's not possible to move the buttons because the stitching near the buttons couldn't be adjusted without leaving visible marks. THEN WHY DID YOU SHORTEN MY SLEEVE. They put me on the spot and ask me what i want to do. If they already shortened it, what the hell am i supposed to do?! moved the buttons and leave the stitch I guess!? They agreed to "fix" it and again assured me it'll look great, they do expensive suits all the time and said they'd call me when it was ready. Two weeks passed with no call, so I went back on my own. This time, the buttons had been moved, but one had been replaced with a completely mismatched button. When I asked about it, they told me to speak with the owner. Owner gets on the phone and says he's not available right now but needs to check it out personally. I said I've had enough of this, I just want my suit back -- it had already been a month -- but the owner refused, saying he needed to inspect it personally. Another two weeks later (no call to me), I just showed up without saying anything extra and picked up my messed up suit and found a sticker on it saying "new button." They still charged me $52 for this work. Overall, poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling of an expensive garment. I would not trust them with anything. read more

Brought in a pair of pants. I was never called to pick up the pants as promised on Tuesday. I picked up the pants on Wednesday. When I took them out of the plastic bag that evening, I noticed they looked long. I'm 4'10 and require a pretty lengthy hem. One leg was shorter than the other!!!! First and last time customer. I had two Indian Cotton Kurtas (basically long button down shirts) that needed to be washed. The lady at checkin was super nice with onboarding me as a customer. On my way out, I asked her how much to expect and she told me it would be around 6.50 each. When I went to pick them up, she was not there and the family that I presume is the owner told me it would be $36 since they are dresses and that's what they charge for dresses. I told them that's not the price I was first told but there's no winning. I was visibly frustrated and told them I'll pay the full amount but it's my last time here to which the younger owner replied "of course you'll pay" with a smirk. This dry cleaner is owned by a great family, and is always on point! I've had trouble (based on my review of a terrible dry cleaning business in Dublin) with my dry cleaning for years at another location, and as soon as I had switched to Hacienda Cleaners, all of my complaints went away. The dry cleaning is excellent, week in and week out, and any special requests or emergencies these people really make their own, and the follow through is impeccable! There are a couple of people here that like CHEAP STUFF, that have left a 1 star review based on price. This is GOOD dry cleaning. And anything that is CHEAP is not GOOD. There are also a couple of people that gave a poor review because of their sensitivity. I've had a shirt get lost here too, because guess what? Things happen sometimes. instead of over-apologizing like the lady below would rather, Mrs. Hong had adjusted the price for me, first request, and made things right, right away! You're right, it's not the cheapest place in town, but pricing is beyond justified by the service and care that is given to the clients that come here. Stains still here , besides that I found these new adds when I pick it up,sleeve ended up scratched, and not aligned anymore. I bought it back, and told the Korean owner what happened and asked can they fix it. He said "I don't know what happened, I didn't do it, the stain is here so maybe you did something and made the scratch." Literally the original sentence. No apologies and saying it's my problem. Nothing to do with them. I clearly remember the scratch was not there at all, the lady was marking all of the stains when I dropped it off. Both of us knew there was no scratch and the sleeve was aligned at that time. I claimed this situation and then, the owner asked, so what do you want? What do I want? At least An Apologize man! Not trying to push the responsibilities back to the customer! I want the attitude to solve the problem!This is what I want! 3 stars why? #1. yes they do a good fairly job #2. mending, hemming, altering is SUPER EXPENSIVE #3. they will forget from time to time to pick up my stuff, they do not care that I alerted them as I need to have a few things in my bag to make it worth the drive, seriously no biggie, I always call and let them know. My problem is when they are gently notified that they missed my pick up, they are RUDE and make the situation my fault and literally ARGUE with me. What in the world is going on here, I have used them for many many years and have put up with this? Larry the owner tried to argue with me a few times, but will always calm down and listen, but the wife or other owner could care less. She talks over me, cuts me off and truly does not care. We have been business owners in the past and had 80 employees, there would not be one time that would be acceptable, even if a customer is inappropriate or bugged or rude, it is the business owners job to work the situation out in a reasonable manner. The way they speak to me is not worth it. We are human, we have faults, we make mistakes, it's NORMAL. So why not just say "oh I do apologize Elizabeth, we overlooked your pick up, can we pick up next time"? I would be like, sure no problemo at all, thank you! I certainly do not like coming on here and ripping up a business but I felt it was important for those of you wanting to work with a company that cares about your product as well as professionalism and communication. read more

They have been doing a good job with my laundry overall, but what bothered me today was that I took a long dress to cut the length and they quoted me $70 a week a go, but a few days I receive a text from them saying that they can shorten my dress but for $130 and up. Why do they give me a quote in person & leave the dress with them because I agreed with paying $70 and then decide to almost double the price a week later? I said no, picked the dress in the afternoon and took it to Essy's Tailoring & Alterations and he cut the dress for $68. I don't maybe I would have been forced to pay the $130 and up fee if I was in a rush. I don't think that is professional at all. read more

Hacienda cleaners is awesome. One day I needed an item done the next day and called ahead and was assured that I could pick up my slacks by noon the next day. Also I was presented with a coupon since it was my first visit here and given a page of coupons to use for a later visit. All of the clothes I had dry cleaned were freshly washed, pressed, and ready to wear. Finding the location is a little tricky as it's in a shopping complex but kind of to the side. You have to look for it aside from your phone directions if not sure of the area. All in all, great service and I would return again. read more

Mondays and Thursdays are Livermore days. Place your dirty clothes in bag (provided by HC) on your door on Mondays - get sparkling clothes hanging on door on Thursdays. Or just for fun- put clothes out on Thursdays and get clean clothes back on Mondays. Whee! I am writing this review after TONS of frustration with their service. We used their Pleasanton/Vineyard location and were not extremely happy with the service. We had pants hemmed several times and they ALWAYS came undone, and we were charged again. Same with zipper replacement. Now we have tried their delivery service for months. My husband's shirts have cuffs and we ask they are pressed FLAT not folded. It's in our notes, on the tag and I have told them repeatedly. They STILLLLL press the shirts with folded cuffs and are ruining the shirts. Maybe it's a new style too to press shirts with spots instead of clean the spots and then press. Now maybe my star rating is a bit high for only using this business once and indirectly at that! However, my experience with Hacienda Cleaners will forever be memorable! The company I work for is based within Bishop Ranch and after calling several near by cleaners I received no response. I extended my search to base off of Yelp reviews and Hacienda Cleaners were fair. Gave them a call with a brief description of my issue and a nice woman told me if I got the clothing to their team around 10am next day, the clothing would be ready for pick up that afternoon. Our global housing company received still wet clothing that remained in the washing machine of our previous guest. After having it sit over a week, sealed in a plastic bag, we knew the clothing would be disgusting. Thankfully, Brain (excuse me if the name is incorrect) and his team worked diligently to ensure our last minute request would be fulfilled by 4PM same day. Brian & his team were more than promising...they were AHEAD of schedule and let me know the laundered and folded guest's clothing could be picked up at 3PM. YAY! Our 8lb load of fresh laundry was only $26.00 and now the guest only needs to hang it back in the closet. :) I will continue to use Hacienda Cleaners as well as keep their business card in our files for future Special Handling from our office. Hacienda is still a decent service, in that they reliably pick up and deliver but I've had to seriously curtail my use because they seem incapable of separating my bulk laundry, which is fine to wash and fold, from my work clothes which must be dry cleaned and pressed. Three times now they've washed and folded dress shirts; this renders them unwearable. When I call to ask that dress clothes be pressed, they say sure...I offered to separate the clothes myself but they said to keep using one bag...and my dress shirts and pants keep coming back unwearable because they aren't pressed. They also used to replace buttons and do minor repairs if you pinned a note to the item but these days they don't do the repair like they used to. After being a customer six years I'm looking elsewhere because my work requires my clothes be neat and pressed. read more

So here' s my deal with Hacienda Cleaners.... The main girl who's always there is the best (she's the reason why I gave it 2 stars). Really nice, easy to work with, not in your face at all (I'll explain this later). It's the owner, the owner's wife, and the son (I believe) who are the biggest pains in the ass! Although they know everyone (which is a nice feature), BEFORE they've even pulled down your dry cleaning, they've repeated (at least 4 times!) how much you owe them. And, I have to say, it's in that nagging, irritating 'sing-song' voice......"$55 dollars! Ok, you owe $55 dollars! $55 dollars is your price! $55 dollars is how much your cleaning costs!" Good grief! Over & over again. So much so, I've said to them, "Yeah, I heard you the first 3 times. Thanks." Is it so much to ask to see the clothes BEFORE I pay? Just to make sure that everything looks good? Yes, I guess it is too much to ask because by the time I can look over the clothes, my money's already been taken and they're looking at me (and saying), "ok, buh-bye, have a nice day". As if to say, get the f--- out of here. The worst of it is that, approx. 25% of the time, I still find something wrong with it. They have to re-do it, or, they can't fix it. Blah, blah. Just ridiculous. But hey at least they've already got my money.....you know to open multiple locations where they can further irritate customers and now offering delivery, so they can come to your home and irritate you there. I'm really sad to see this place so poorly reviewed! I had such a good experience with them. I brought in a jersey and a vest that needed to be altered. The ladies were friendly and applauded the fact that they were taking the outfits in (Yay me!). They asked when I needed it by and I said as soon as you are able but there is no rush since I didn't need them until the end of October (I took them in the first week). They called the day after and said it would be a week so no problem. I came to try them on and they were both done really well! amazing seemstress job. The price was only 35 which could have easily been 45 because it was a jersey. Ill be back for more of the cheap altering! read more

The quality is good and delivery is nice. I have been pretty disappointed with the pricing. They started adding on "extra care" to a shirt here and there claiming the material of the shirt requires it. It went from one shirt once in a while now to 3 or 4 per visit... same shirts that didn't require it in the past. Started coming to this place because we moved and it's cross the street from us. Was pleasantly surprised to know that they had a texting system which let you know when your dry cleaning is done. However the lady told me they would text me on Friday to let me know I can pick up my dry cleaning and the text showed up on Monday. I do not recommend this place for alternations, most especially wedding gowns, which they have advertised on their window. I strictly dealt w Mrs Hong (owner) who was at first was very nice and accommodating, only to find out she was just after my $$ and not a care about their customers at all. First she quoted me incorrectly for my wedding gown alternations, so I told her that it was too high and I was just going to pick up my dress and take it somewhere else. She then negotiates and quotes me a reasonable price, plus a discount on wedding gown preservation afterwards. So I willingly agreed, due to her convincing sales tactics. BIG MISTAKE!! Almost two weeks passed by, and I had another week before my first fitting when I received a letter in the mail from Mrs Hong. Her letter stated that she's been trying to call me, but somehow I gave her a wrong #. I thought to myself, how could that be if she called me at least 2 times already?? So the letter went on to say, that her seamstress now wants to charge me $450 instead of the $200 she had worked out for me from our previous conversation. How can the price more than doubled?? I FREAKED out and I couldn't believe this was happening, not to mention two weeks after the fact. I immediately call Mrs Hong and she had the nerve to accuse me of giving her the wrong #. She only apologizes after I chew her head out about being so unprofessional and wasting 2 weeks of my time. She goes on to say "Oh but your wedding isn't till October!" I couldn't believe the nerve of this lady for not taking responsibility for her actions. I told her I was going to pick up my dress first thing in the morning and I told her I expected my dress to be stain free, pins removed and in the condition I brought it in. She then complains and says but it took me 1 hr to do this. How dare this lady claim I wasted her time, when clearly she does not know how to run her own business!! When you say you're going to do a service for the quoted price, then you have to stand by it (wrong or right, this is what's called good customer service lady!!) and not inconvenience your customers by wasting their time bc you did not consult with ur seamstress first before promising ur customer a set price. When I picked up my dress, it wasn't even ready for me. I could see her and her husband, inspecting and dry cleaning my dress from the front counter. I had to wait about 5 minutes before she brings me my dress. When she finally gives me my dress, she couldn't even look at me in the eyes, nor did she apologize for her actions. Yes, my wedding is in October, however what if ti was any earlier and this happened. Luckily I was referred to a reputable seamstress, who is trustworthy and only took 15-20 minutes for the consultation. I wouldn't take any alterations to Hacienda Cleaners or any business.. they very unprofessional!!! Please be ware, you do not want to have the same nightmare I had to go through!!! read more

First of all I would really give 0 stars if that we an option!!!! I took in a very expensive BCBG Max Azria jacket that has the matching pants to go with the jacket. When I took in the clothes the lady at the desk and I marked every spot on the jacket with red tape so there would be no confussion on what needed to be done! Well when I went back to pick up my items at their location ( the one on Dublin Blvd which is the same owner as this on) they ruind my jacket! There were bleach stains on the sholder and stains from the solution that they used on my $150.00 dollar jacket! I complained to the lady that originally helped me and I insisted that she contact the owner. I spoke with the owner on the phone and I ended up having to drive to their other lication on Stoneridge. (Mind you gas is like $4.60 a gallon!) The owners were a man and woman. They insisted the stains were there when I gave them the jacket, NO I DONT THINK SO! They acted like they had done nothing wrong! I stayed there for almost one and a half hours explaining to them what they had done, but they didnt care. The ruid man tried to give me $50.00 dollars for the jacket. Please the jacket cost me $150.00 plus tax and the pants to go along with the jacket were $125.00 which now they have really ruined a $300.00 dollar outfit that they are trying to give me $50.00 dollars for!!!!! The man owner was extreamly ruid and wouldnt talk to me anymore and he just left. Finally after going back and forth they gave me $85.00 dollars for them ruining a $300.00 dollar outfit!!! There's always an excuse every time I go in. I found the cleaners on bernal in the Safeway parking lot much better. I guess the only pro here is they do free drop offs.
