After our micro-wedding in our backyard, the train of my wedding dress was really dirty. I let it sit in my closet for a few months, so that just made me even more worried thinking that it'd be even harder to get it cleaned. I planned to wear it again for our religious wedding later in the year. I was referred here by a local bridal boutique as they take their dresses here too, so I felt I was in good hands. I was very protective of my dress as well. They did a phenomenal job cleaning my dress. It looked brand new! I was super impressed at how they got the train so clean, and I recommended VIP to everybody who was looking for a wedding dress cleaning. After our religious wedding, I knew I would be bringing my dress to them again for a cleaning. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of mentioning to them that I was planning to sell it after it was cleaned. I was disappointed that quality of the cleaning was not the same as the first time. I pointed out to the guy where there were still some stains on the train. There was a lot of blue lint pieces on the lace of my dress. I don't even have blue anywhere on my dress so not sure where that came from. It looked like maybe a blue sweater rubbed off on my dress. I picked off some blue pieces to show him and said, I'm going to have to pick all of this off the rest of the dress. The train wasn't as clean and the edges looked frilly. I asked how that happened? he said they had to take a brush and scrub, thus the edges frilled. Whoever cleaned it went to town on my dress w/that brush. The 1st time I got it cleaned, those same edges were also dirty but looked perfect and pristine. Not sure why this couldn't be replicated on same dress. Was it a different worker who worked on my dress this time? Also, the tulle on my dress was pinched and had creases everywhere. It was in various spots of the dress and pointed it out to the guy. I asked how that happened and he said that's just part of the cleaning. Well, it wasn't like that the first time! it's the SAME DRESS. and that part wasn't even dirty. I paid half when I dropped it off and would pay the rest at pick-up. I asked him if he could adjust the balance I owed because of these issues. He said he could only take off $10. I was not happy. He said they could re-clean it for me. But I don't trust them with my wedding dress anymore. The quality of the cleaning really disappointed me this time. It's a shame because now I'm going to have to lower the selling price on my dress for these issues, and will not recommend them. If you're planning to re-sell your wedding dress, just keep that to yourself. read more

Thanks Yelp for this great find, I am always happy to support a local business. My experience here was easy and perfect! Walked in with two items that were super sparkly and full of sequins. The woman there was really sweet and said she would do her best to preserve my items and to come pick up in two days. This process was maybe 2 mins! When I came back two days later (I mistakenly came in the morning when the receipt said to come in after 5:30pm), my items were ready to go and in perfect condition! Unlike other places, I found that my clothes here smelled really clean and fresh here as if they were fresh laundry (as opposed to that normal dry cleaning smell). The pickup process was also another 2 mins, so I've probably spent less than 5 mins here and left really happy with their work and service. Nice staff, great service, quick turnaround time and fair prices. I'll definitely be back. read more

Back in my public accounting days, I had some clients in the CoCo County area. I used to carry my precious wardrobe to Pleasanton for dry cleaning, rather than doing so back in downtown SF where I had lived. Why? 1. VIP Cleaners don't screw up your clothes. If you live in downtown SF you know what I mean. Many (Chinese) places send off their clothes to a "dry cleaning factory" in South SF each evening, and you get your clothes back in a couple of days with burnt holes in slacks, bleached shirts, or sometimes the plastic collar stay would be melted into my shirt. This would happen with regular enough occurrence that my 50 cent saving per shirt would be flown out the door. And god forbid you could afford buying more decent shirts on public accounting salary. If you have precious wardrobe, don't take it to any place-- take it to a place you trust. 2. VIP Cleaners open early and close late. If you have ever dealt with sitting outside the dry cleaners at 730am, waiting for them to open so that you could pickup/drop off clothes, then you know what a difference it makes between 7am and 730am, and 630pm and 7pm. 3. People are plain nice. I don't know the owner lady's name, but she's always there and there's nothing more reliable than seeing the owner in presence day after day, week after week. One time I was missing a button on a dress shirt and they put the button back on for me, and didn't even mention having done so! Awwwww so nice to be a regular here. I've tried over 10 different dry cleaning places (multiple times at each location) and it's profoundly aggravating to think about how many places have burnt holes through my clothes. You don't risk it with cheap condoms and cheap plastic vodka, so why should dry cleaners be any different? I mean... they are different, but you know what I mean. read more

Very friendly, but took my bridesmaid dress to them and they did an awful job. The alterations aren't done by the person measuring me, and safety pins were haphazardly used to mark where the dress was to be taken in. I should have taken a picture with the pins in, because the finished product was not altered to the my initial request. Not only was the altered dress uncomfortably up in my armpit, it was also uneven. They took another day to "fix it", and were nice to rush the adjustments, but it became more uneven as one side didn't change and the other came out barely 1/4". Very disappointed in the alterations. Also disappointed I was charged full price after telling them it wasn't right. read more

Stopped by this location a few days to drop off a pair of work pants and jeans to get altered. Service was quick and easy. Picked up my pants and jeans and it was done right. One of the workers Gloria was so sweet very courteous and friendly. I dropped off another pair of jeans to them as well. Their prices were the cheapest I found in the area. $11 per pair. With great customer service like that I'll be a repeat customer to this location. Although there's a lot around my area where I live, the customer service wasn't as nice as these guys. I went here for alterations because of the good Yelp reviews. When I walked in on a Saturday it was hot! I don't know if they have air conditioning. If so, it wasn't on that day. The person who helped me asked me to go into a fitting room so she could put a safety pin on where I needed my jeans hemmed. They have a person come in a couple of times a week to pick up items that need to be altered. The fitting room was so dirty! There was an old stray high heel laying on it's side, a crumpled up shopping back with something in it, and cobwebs! Wtf?! Do they clean that place? I was like, no. Hell no. So I left. However we have recently had to switch cleaners despite believing in merchant loyalty for good service due to a nearby cleaners offering the same services for almost half the price. So I'm new to the area and had to find a cleaners close by. I happened to find a couple of yelp reviews on this establishment and I'm really glad I trusted the reviews of others and came here. I was greeted by the owner who took his time to engage in convo and let me know of a new outlet that was opening the town over. It's this type of customer service that will keep me coming back! Coming from a city that has cleaners on every block (NYC baby!), I recognize quality cleaning...especially when it comes to those hard-to-remove stains from a few days earlier. Ok, so my husband and I finally wore the clothes that we had cleaned from VIP and the sweaters were shrunk!!!! Not good at all. My precious Vera Wang sweater is now very snug. Hurt by this! My husbands sweater is quite snug as well. We have had these sweaters cleaned plenty of times by our old faithful cleaners and never had this problem. Don't think we will be back. Terrible service. I took in my silk dress to get the bottom skirt dry cleaned and I got it back with mostly the same stains. The lady keeps saying Silk is hard to clean and we tried 3 times, or so she says... WTH is dry cleaning for? To remove stains we can't at home, right? I mean the skirt had dirt which should come out easy. Not like it had wine or something. She could've at least not charged me the $18. Will never come here again!!! read more

I would give this 5/5 stars if getting your comforter dry cleaned wasn't so expensive! But at their defense, it's what others charge too. But my goodness $30 every time, I might as well buy a new one. But I love mine, so I fork over the money. Now, the service is amazing! They are always so nice when you call. And the four or five times I've been here, they always let me bring it in before noon, and it's ready by five! I love the quick turn around, so that way I don't have to sleep without my comforter.
