Genuinely been having a good experience regularly here at Habit. Their burgers are good, and they've been adding some new items to change up their offerings. I find it's worthwhile to have the Habit app, as they have a lot of deals. I'm personally a fan of the double charburger. This location is quite busy but you get your food quickly. Although they can take your order at the counter, it's obvious that it is encouraged that you just order at the kiosk yourself. Staff are friendly enough - they're efficient. I feel my one downside of all Habit locations is that you really don't see staff wiping down tables or anything between guests - so it really is just dependent on how the last guess has left things (never horrible...just doesn't feel really that clean?). I was craving a burger so stopped in at Habit. Opted for the Teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple and it hit the spot! The place was hopping and clearly popular. I wish I had known my burger didn't come with fries - would have opted for the sweet potato fries. But it was very good and I'll just have to get them next time. read more

I wanted something a little different. On this visit, I ordered the sirloin steak sandwich. I selected a combo; with a large fountain drink and onion rings, my plate cost $21.37. Tax of $2.08, brought my total to 23.45, before gratuity. The sandwich is served on a ciabatta roll; and has white cheddar cheese, caramelized onion, lettuce, tomato, and some sort of sauce. The bread is grilled, which adds a toasty texture. The "steak" is a reconstituted meat patty. I don't know if I really expected to steak; but the use of chopped beef makes sense. It allows The Habit to provide consistency of shape and weight. The taste and texture of the "steak" was different than that of their hamburger patty. The use of sirloin contributes to the taste difference; but I wonder if artificial flavors (like smoke) were added, too. I was satisfied with the meal; but I wasn't impressed either. It's a bit expensive, relative to portion size. "Hamburger" as a restaurant category is really competitive. read more

Juicy burgers. Decent reg and sweet potato fries. I don't know why they have such low review scores on here, 3.5 stars seems harsh. I'm local and they were amazing when they opened and i went quite often. It did seem to go through a period of getting not quite so good burgers - overly wet and drowning in sauce - but I think they just had a bad patch. I went again recently and it was great. For a fast-food burger this may be my favorite. Better value than Five Guys and meatier than In'n'Out. I would give them 4/5 stars but looks like they need some help so squeezing it to a 5 ! I normally do not leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. The fries served to my daughter were visibly burnt and overcooked. Any staff member should have recognized that this food quality was not appropriate to serve. When I politely brought it up, the employee responded with an unfriendly attitude and showed no apology or concern. I then approached the general manager hoping for a more professional response, but she simply said she was on her break and told me to speak to the other employee instead. What upset me most was not only the food quality, but the complete lack of customer care, professionalism, and basic courtesy. A simple apology and willingness to help would have made a big difference. Very disappointing experience, especially as a parent ordering food for a child. read more

Long time visitor, first time reviewer. This place deserves all 5 stars. It feels like some folks have a lot to say, but let me assure you -- this is a great burger spot. Being up on the hill there aren't many burger places to go to so it's really nice that we have our own Habit. Service is always friendly and although it's not the fastest food, if you think of this place as a fast casual restaurant then they nail it. I have never had a wrong order, I have never had bad service at the counter or picking up. There's always parking. And this place seems to always be busy. Extra shout out to the employees who have to manage all of the highschoolers all the time. The people working here are always hustling to get orders out, which is really impressive to watch. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Oh, and obviously the food is delicious. They can even accommodate dairy free diets. And of course, they have one of the best lettuce wrapped burgers in the game. read more

I called for a take out order and it seems that my call didn't go to the restaurant but to another site where orders are taken and relayed to the local business. I wanted 3 sandwiches and got 4. I asked for no cheese and got cheese. The side orders were right. I asked to go over the order and it seemed the lady had it right. I didn't get a receipt so I'm waiting to see if they email it. I don't know if I paid for the extra burger or if a tip was included. Next time I will go to the restaurant and order there. Habit's fine. But the cost to satisfaction ratio isn't quite there, unfortunately, so I'm more likely to drive off the hill to get something better. The beef is decent, and the fries are good. Upgrade to the Santa Barbara for a much better sandwich that puts you on the track of eating too much in your meal. And though the fries are good, the tempura green beans are awesome. OVERALL WARNING: They are definitely are not stingy when it comes to salt. We've had to resort to ordering everything with NO salt because of how many times over the years we've had to return things as inedible. I finally checked out The Habit in Rolling Hills for the first time today and was seriously impressed. I wasn't sure what to get, but the manager, Gustavo, was super welcoming and gave me some great recommendations that made the whole experience easy. I also have to mention the Dragonfruit Limeade is literally so good and refreshing, easily the best thing I've drank in a long time. The environment was also so good and clean. I came here yesterday with my wife and we ordered a double burger with fries and a drink. In the past, cheese was always included with the double burger, but now they charge extra for it which was a surprise. We asked for the burger to be cut in half, but it came out unevenly cut my wife ended up with the larger portion while I got the smaller side. The fries were also burnt. What really made the experience disappointing was the wait time. There were zero other customers in the restaurant, yet it took around 15 minutes for our food to come out. During that entire time, we could see three employees the front register person, the cook, and another staff member standing around talking instead of preparing food. When the food finally arrived, it wasn't good and definitely didn't feel worth the $18 we paid. On top of that, when I went up to the counter to ask for barbecue sauce or ranch, the cashier (who already knew we had waited so long) smiled and told me it would cost extra. That was the last straw. Overall, the service was slow, the food quality was poor, and the atmosphere in the back was unprofessional. Friday night and closing time is at 9:30pm I came in and placed my order at 8pm for dine in. As I am sitting down employee starts placing chairs on tables. I am at a four top waiting for my order and she placed all the chairs on table that I am sitting at. Very unprofessional. I asked what time is closing time and she ignored me. Then we got our order and halfway through my burger I find myself chewing on something rubbery. I pull out a long piece of plastic. Gross!! I didn't even have time to take a picture I was so grossed out. I showed the cashier and he got me a new burger. I usually don't review chain restaurants, but their low rating has always confused me. I'm always a regular at habit and at a few of their locations. It's a fast food place but a step above places like McDonald's / Burger King. I have noticed this location does get pretty busy and yet their tables and everything are always clean. I always get their chicken and their green bean fries. Which are the only way I'll eat green beans lol. (Highly recommend their teriyaki dipping sauce and their ranch dressing) They also have pretty good salads and their lettuce wrapped burgers are great if you have any restrictions. This location is really nice and located in a shopping center with a bunch of other places (target, bath and body works and even a crumble cookie) so it's really convenient. Also, tons of free parking around. I'd say on average it usually takes about 10 minutes to get my food. They give you a buzzer that lights up and then you bring it to the counter and pick it up. I'm a fan of their jalapeños on the condiment bar. They always keep it stocked up and clean Also, if you're a regular at habit, like myself. So I got here around around 12:15. As soon as I got to the front, the manager just kept ignoring me until someone else asked if I was picking and I told her no I'm ordering. The manager then told me it would be a 25 minute wait. I get that it's peak time, but my order here has never taken that long, and I have other things to do.. Even at In N Out it doesn't take that long usually. The workers didn't seem care that much about their job, and they don't clean the tables. The old staff here was way better. Warning about EZ Caterer which they use exclusively. EZ Caterer got my order wrong and refused to refund me and they promised me a $50 discount if I ordered from them again so I did and then they refused to honor the promotion. What a scam. Their customer service people are a joke too. They gave a voucher for a future order with them but they suck. Since there is no where to write a shitty review of them I am stuck writing it on the restaurant page. But it's EZ Caterer that is awful. If the owner of this restaurant ever reads this--see what woman was working the register (possibly a manager based on the blue shirt) during the 2:00 lunch hour on 4/15. Normally this place is great. She was very rude. The food came out cold. The fries came out 15 minutes after the sandwich (which was already cold). Overall she seemed like she couldn't be bothered. She kept her back turned to the door and register the entire time we were there and just kept carrying on with personal conversation with the two cooks. We complained and she didn't say sorry. I kid you not, she said "Yeah..." then just walked away. Should not be employed here or anywhere involving customers. read more

This is my go to location for Habit Burger mainly because I can bring my dog for the outside patio area. They have heaters that you can request to turn on. Food is as expected and service is fast. I was impressed with the cleanliness of their women's bathroom. It is probably the cleanest bathroom I've seen for a fast food restaurant. read more

At this location in RPV, the customer service is TOP NOTCH. All the young men and women were gracious and accommodating. The burgers are flavorful and plentiful with slices of fresh tomato and shredded lettuce.
