We haven't been here in a while, and even longer since we last ate inside. Because every other place was super busy on Labor Day, we decided at the last minute to come back here. Parking can be a mess when Olive Garden is busy, and Orange Fitness has a class, so we've often parked on the edge of the Walmart parking lot and walked over. I already had a feeling things were going to get worse when Yum company bought the brand because of their affiliation with Pepsi. Well, I was sadly disappointed by another major change: the replacement of Diet Pepsi with Pepsi Zero, which, frankly, I just find nasty. I know this is a corporate decision, but it will prevent me from dining in here. I might still get orders to go, but sans a drink. The food was as expected. I've always liked their burgers, and their fries are OK. The Cobb Salad was especially good. They were faster than I remembered, which was also good. The music was a little loud for my taste, but the place was clean. Honestly, I don't know if we'll be back for a while, as I'll always prefer places that serve Coke products. read more

I'm frustrated with this location. I was planning on using my free birthday burger reward but was unable to do so because apparently, they don't allow you to use the coupon if you use a different promotion in the same day. This never used to be the case but something must have changed. read more

The app had a free double char offer with a purchase so I had to go! Got my ususal - Santa Barbara cobb (no pickled onions, replace with raw onions, dressing - fuji apple) - Double char with cheese, everything on it, extra pickles, red raw onions (they didn't give much) - Their pepperocini's are the best in all of SoCal!!! Both were quite good and satisfying. Service was prompt. The burger was nice and warm, cobb salad was pretty fresh. Definitely a great meal today! read more

Always a great choice for lunch! Especially when they send you great deals like a free charburger with purchase. You gotta have an account though, to get those deals emailed to you. Their new Baja Fish Sandwich is a fried flounder with a dill coleslaw. The flavor is good if you love dill. All of the sides are delicious, and I love all the options, especially the tempura green beans! read more

We Use to be regulars here until they recently switched up the grill to one of those automatic circular robotic grills and got rid of the cook when grilling grilled chicken. Now the chicken is not being grilled by a person it's being grilled by a robot grill that turns in circles. Very disappointed in management and owner. Will not be dining here moving forward. read more

Ordered some food from Habit and was sadly disappointed. We never come here and now I remember why. The burgers do not taste good. Their fried sides are fine, but the burger was just not good to me. I could not finish it. The service was great! They have computer order screens for quick order and minimal personal interaction. They have good deals and drinks. Not sure about the other menu items as we only had their burgers, fries, onion rings. Give it a try maybe you will like it. Inside was quiet and empty on a rainy Monday evening. read more

I go here often and I am always happy with the service. The quality of the food is always spot on. My favorite things to order from here are: Santa Barbara char, onion rings, chicken nuggets, or the normal cheeseburger. It always seems to be the same guy behind the counter taking orders and calling names out. He's always really nice to everyone. The cooks are quick and season everything perfectly. The store is always clean and there's plenty of seating. With summer coming to an end, sitting outside during the fall might be something we start doing. Nothing but good food and people at this location! read more

Stopped by this Habit Burger after a Walmart and Sprouts run in the same plaza. The plaza is huge so there is plenty of parking, but be careful of one way lanes. There seems to be only one manager on site and some like cooks. No one is available to take orders at the register. All orders are through kiosks, but there were plenty (3). You have to ask for utensils because they are not left out on the counter. Overall all the tables and counter where the drinks and jalapeños are looked clean. Also just fyi there is no wifi available. read more

Fantastic experience at this Orange location Habit. Spacious and clean dining room. Worker who took my order was friendly and very helpful. They're currently running a great $6/8/10 combo deal and she took the time to explain all the options since the signage was incomplete. Food arrived hot and tasty. No major complaints. Dining room did get a bit smoky as the customer orders piled up for the lunchtime rush, making the air a bit hard to breathe. Turning on better fans would fix the issue. read more

I came here after shopping at Walmart. I wasn't very hungry so I decided to get a kid's meal. One thing I like is that they have two ways to place your order. There is a self checkout kiosk or you can wait in line and order from a cashier. I chose to use the kiosk and it was fairly easy to use. I ordered a kid's cheeseburger meal with fries and a vanilla shake. It took about 10 minutes to get my food which was stated on my receipt. Inside the restaurant there is ample seating. There is seating for large groups and seating for smaller groups. Nice! Now let's talk about the food. The cheeseburger was average. I think it needs pickles and maybe the option to put another dressing on it. The fries were really good and the vanilla shake top tier. I paid $11 bucks for it. It was filling. I would order the kid's meal again but I would tweak the cheeseburger. Food is made to order and it definitely tastes fresh. read more

Habit is habitually consistent in their quality, service and vibes. Bright, spacious and welcoming vibes. Delish bites. Generous and tasty portions. Today I gave their new seasonal Basil Pesto Chicken Sandwich a try. It did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy. The veggies were fresh. I didn't see the pesto, but I'm sure it was there. The most memorable part for me was the Parmesan crusted bread. Crisp, punchy and zesty flavors. Nice! read more

Veggie burger with cheese is my favorite. I added pickles and avocado. It's tasty and healthy (ish) for a burger anyway lol The burger was so good and filling! The veggies were all fresh. And I love the wheat bun. The sweet potato fries are great when they are hot. And dipped in the ranch, boy are they yummy! The fries were cold though this time. Sad day for me lol I couldn't eat them. The ranch was good. It's homemade tasting. My fiancé got a grilled cheese. That was not his favorite. My guess is he will go back to the char burgers. read more

I will NEVER return and based on the small crowd I'm guessing I'm not the only one. 1 adult meal and 3 kids meals took over 20 mins and the place was empty. The burger patties were bricks. Inedible. The trash was overflowing. The ketchup dispenser was empty and there was a cardboard sign stating they had no soda options. I ordered bottled water and it did not come. When I went up to the counter to ask for it and I was told they were out. When I said that I have been charged $4 for it the female Mgr on duty on 8/15/26 told me "you don't need to get mad" l had only asked for what I paid for. If my eye sees this level of disarray and lack of service IMAGINE what I can't see! Sad. We used to love this place. RIP read more

Got a delivery last night. The dbl hamburger was very messy and one sliver of raw onion, really when no lettuce or tomato ( more expensive) items were ordered. That should have been a clue, because within 30 minutes I am running to the bathroom, with the worst diarrhea I have ever had. Woke up, 3 other times with terrible cramps ! This review is going to be rather quick because I do not come to the habit much. A few months ago I came here. Before I became a vegetarian, the burger which I eat here a couple of times was rather good and the french fries were very good also. Love this Habit at night when it's not crowded. Came here on a Tuesday at 12 noon and it took 45 mins to get my dine in order which was bagged to-go. The toasted bread was soggy bcz it was in a container soaking up the condensation from the steam and the other half of my order was missing. Had to wait another extra few mins for it. I don't know if I'd blame poor management or that it was too overwhelming for them but no order should take more than 20 mins to receive let alone 45 & was never told "oh sorry for the wait" or "there's going to be a delay bcz we're busy" The online orders were backing up the dine in orders causing major conflicts. Next time I'll be dining in the evening- not during the day. read more

(had to upgrade my review to five stars since it seemed that they were only responding to the five-star reviews) this is a horrible place to order food from. Please do not order for pickup online the prices are significantly higher than ordering in person. They forgot the avocado I paid 2.61$ extra for, I asked for my burger well done it came pink. I asked for ranch and the lady looked so disturbed she rolled her eyes at me and ignored me !!!! Thankfully another worker saw and heard and just awkwardly handed me the ranch. I will never come back read more

Absolutely amazing food for a reasonable price. Always busy so not a bad idea to order ahead online. Store is very clean, good parking, excellent staff. Would have been five stars but I had to knock one off because maybe it's the shrink-flation but they are no longer generous with the amount of fries or onion rings they give you. read more

The ahí tuna burger is so good and the sweet potato fries with ranch make for a perfect meal.

I became very ill twice after eating a Portobello hamburger, french fries and a sundae from this location. I also became ill after eating a Portobello hamburger and fries from the location in Santa Sna on Main Place. I'm very concerned about the sanitary practices used when preparing the food. Unfortunately, I can't say I will ever eat food from any Habit Burger & Grill location after this last most unpleasant experience. read more

As a DoorDash driver and regular at The Habit Burger (Orange), I've seen my fair share of sloppy service, but this last visit sealed the deal--literally. I asked an employee (headphones in, attention out) if the order was ready. Showed the screen, confirmed the name, counted the items--basic stuff. She nods, hands me a sealed bag. Surprise--wrong order. Sealed bags are great for safety, but they're a gamble when the staff can't be bothered to double-check. Drivers get burned for their laziness while we burn gas trying to make things right. It's unprofessional, careless, and frankly, insulting. I've reported it to DoorDash because this wasn't a one-off. If you're picking up here--stay sharp, double-check, and don't be afraid to call them out. They clearly need the reminder. read more

They got my order wrong and did not give me the right salad. I was missing dressing and toppings

I love the burger there and service is quick, also the outdoor seating area is very nice and cozy.

Today I went to the habit burger at 1500 East Village Way in the city of Orange. I used the key to make my order which was a desert crispy burger, a large fountain, drink order of french fries and order of onion rings.. however I received a regular size drink, cold, french fries cold onion rings and a partially cooked burger that was inedible. Upon pointing this out to the manager, she promptly said, ' I'm ' sorry and then went back to work.. I think at $22.48. I told her that I that this would most probably be my last visit to this location. And she could care less. I am rating it a 1-star only because zero isn't allowed. Not one thing in my order was close to edible. If you're feeling like a habit burger do yourself a favor and don't stop here drive a little further. This place is done and nobody even seems to care!. Sincerely, Never again!! read more

Wow really bad. Went in excited about getting habit burger. Left not wanting to ever give them money again. It's a hamburger vending machine now. They usually don't have a human person to take your order. Just a bunch of screens with the worst user interface. If you get someone's attention they make you feel like you are wasting their time. We were told the wait for food was 25 minutes. It must take a while to thaw out those frozen burgers huh guys? Telling my friends and family to never go here again. read more

This is my third time to this location and everything they serve is pretty decent. It's consistent and the atmosphere is casual, although the food is a bit more than I want to spend. Service takes a slight bit, but since their food is freshly made I know it's worth it. I'm picky about my fries and onion rings, but these are always fried well with a good amount of crisp. I still prefer the tempura green beans which are halfway between actual tempura and just frying them, but this is not meant to be a Japanese restaurant and it's my favorite alternative to the other two sides. I'd come back again for a good burger, but it's not my first choice. Summary: consistently great burgers and sides, but a bit pricier. read more

The sandwiches at Habit are tremendous, at all locations. The Charburger is just about the freshest, tastiest burger around, and the grilled chicken is also wonderful. At this particular location in Orange, the customer service is excellent. They seem happy to have you come in and are very helpful. It is unlike typical fast food establishments. Indeed, it's not particularly fast, which is probably why it's so good! But it's definitely worth a ten-minute wait! read more
