Starters include a variety of hummus options, olives, and a wonderful bread with a cheese sauce in the middle topped with an egg yolk. They mix it table side. Yum! They have vegetarian options but the meats are stars. Lamb meatballs and pork shoulder similar to Mom's Sunday roast shine. Sides include rice with lentils, spinach and other good options. Dessert is also good with a great, light baklava and velvety pistachio gelato. Finally, if you're into it, try the hookah options. Enjoy! read more

Another lovely offering by the Moon Palace resort. I enjoyed their labneh (which I ordered with a drizzle of olive oil and sliced cucumbers on the side). The labneh tasted authentic and was a generous portion. The 'plain' manoushe is in fact a zaatar manoushe, it had a generous helping of zaatar on it which I loved. The cheese and zaatar manoushe was also super tasty! Service was fast, and the seating and vibe was very nice and very clean. This is a must go to for their breakfast offerings alone. Came for breakfast around 10:30am. Such a warm and welcoming place. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the decor is stunning. The menu may be small for breakfast, but every dish is packed with big, huge flavor. Highly recommend coming for dinner. There's a belly dance performance around 6 PM. No reservation needed for breakfast or lunch, but be sure to book in advance for dinner. Place gets real packed at night. read more

Habibi has great staff, who are very attentive and the restaurant is clean and presentable. The food itself is very rich and savory. I tried the truffle fries, a bread dish (pictured but I can not remember the name), and an item that contained NotMeat. All three dishes were very filling and hit the spot. So far, the best place we have eaten during our vacation here in Cancun. Maybe because the food is a little different than the Mexican dishes and buffets we have been going to. Came here for lunch and the staff was super friendly. Plates were small, but as it is all inclusive, we were able to order a bunch of different menu items and 5 adults and 2 kids all left full and satisfied after the meal. The different hummus and appetizers to start were all good and fresh. The lamb osso buco, kibbeh, kabobs, kachapuri, chicken and rice, all were cooked perfectly. Forgot what it was called, but the flat bread that is baked with the black sesame was a little too salty for me. That was the only thing we ordered that I didn't care for too much. This place was recommended to me by two of my friends and also by several employees here at the Grand. I think we'll be back before the end of the vacation to see how their dinner tastes. read more

First off, the negative reviews for this place are a bit outdated, and imo lack details. The differences in reviews can also be between breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or even with resort members and non-resort members. So I can see where there may be a heavy bias in experience. We are Palace members and get pampered to, so my review is all positive. We abide by their policy to dress appropriately, arrived on-time for our dinner reservation, and loved everything about it! Dining & Atmoshphere: - Clean white-linen tablecloth dining. Clean silverware in place once you're seated. - I'm not sure what Lebanese decor should look like, but it appeared very elegant to me. - I noticed some tables with hookahs, but they were not used during dinner. Imagine how annoying it would be eating with smoke/vapor blown in your face. So I'm actually glad they were not used. - We were surrounded by many families, so they'll make accommodations for kids and large parties. - It can get a bit loud, but we went on a night with belly dancers and modern Arabic-type of music. So the high volume level was expected. As well as eye opening entertaining! Wine, Food & Service: - Started off with Mauricio, who was not considered a pure som just yet, but definitely on his way up. He recommended a local red cabernet that actually tasted like a blend but paired very well with our meats. - Second, we were attended to by Carolina! She took care of us from beginning to end. And her service was fantastic in every way! She also recommended the "sample dishes," since we've never been there. This was basically a sample of all their appetizers, main dishes, and meats. We started with fresh pita bread and some green (basil) hummus appetizer. SO DELISH!!! I saved some for the meats. - Other appetizers, we were given a traditional Khachapuri. OMG, that cheese bread with the broken egg yolk! LOVED IT!!! The Pear Fattoush Salad was also refreshing, as was their two tasty rice dishes. - Meats! We loved the grilled octopus, rack of lamb and it's minty pesto. Can't say the chicken breast was all that. A bit dry. Pork belly is pork belly, still a good choice. But the BEST was the 48 hour Slow-Cooked Short Ribs! The cuts were just so tender, fatty, and juicy. It went well with our red cab. ~ Desserts! They were decent. I'm just not much of a dessert person, but I did like the flavors. I'll assume that management must've taken the negative reviews to heart, or I'm in the wrong place. We were greeted by manager, Viridiana. She thanked us and checked on us as we gave compliments to Carolina's excellent service. Habibi is a cultural experience in addition to dining exploration. I love the different hummus and olives. The Khachapuri is fun to see finished table side and tastes rich and creamy. The kabobs are always a great choice. Me least favorite item is the French toast, which is really cake toast. Cakey consistency that is super sweet and more of a dessert than breakfast. One of the first restaurant I tried here in Moon palace . The ambience and decor is soothing and beautiful. We tried their Jallab , it's one of the most refreshing drink you can have with full flavors of rose water and dates. Hummus was very good but the falafel , baba ganuoj , okra stew was not great. Falafel was dried I had much better falafel outside , okra was very hard and chewy . I had their lentil with noodles soup which was nice with full flavors in it . Turkish coffee is a must try dish. Service was good but I think if their vegetarian options can be made better it will get 5 stars. read more

This place was great. Not sure if you can just make reservations and come from offsite but it's worth a visit. The ambiance and food were wonderful. The staff was delightful and Viridiana was an absolute gem, she was so kind to us on both visits!! The chicken with yogurt, chicken and rice, hummus, cheese bread, and cheese dessert were the standout items. My husband doesn't eat lamb so I missed out on those. We lined up early with the hordes for the bellydancing show, and were not disappointed. Though on of the teens was embarrassed (bonus!), the rest of us enjoyed it. The atmosphere was appropriately chaotic, with friendly waitstaff shuttling between the dancers and musicians, and like most restaurants at the Grand, the volume was high. We ordered a smattering of appetizers and enjoyed them - not the best Lebanese food on earth, but perfectly workable, and I love me a good baba ghanouj! I didn't notice hookah smoke (and I'm sensitive to smoke). However, the best part about Habibi is that it's something of a well-kept secret for BREAKFAST. The waitstaff in the morning is spectacular! The coffee is good, and the baklava croissant...when one stuffs a piece of baklava into a croissant, the result is rather tasty. (Would be even better if the honey and nuts were baked into the dough, but that may disrupt the buttery goodness of the structure...but I digress.) The Habibi eggs were delish - essentially shakshuka with za'atar, and Mexico has good shakshuka. It's not crowded or chaotic (like the buffet), and thus was a favorite, especially for the older breakfast lovers in our group! read more

My family, my dad's friends and I came to Cancun and stayed at the Moon Palace resort. In this buffet, all the food is amazing. Breakfast Time: Breakfast is even better than lunch believe me, they have pancakes, muffins, waffles, Nutella, cheerios and so much good options! I took pancakes, waffles, French toast and a brioche muffin! I got way more than lunch but it's worth it the food is so good! I hope this helps! Wonderful food! If you get here right at 6pm when they open or get in line earlier they can usually seat you pretty quick. Went for breakfast this morning and had Habibi eggs which were excellent, a fresh baked bread with cheese and egg, which was very good, and a Lebanese pizza with ground beef and egg which was good but not as good as the others for my personal taste. The main down side was the rather slow service despite the restaurant not being crowded and the very long wait for the food which actually made us rush eating it as we had a tour planned and had to leave shortly after we received the food. read more

The appetizer portion are small. For us this is perfect because we tried 6 of them. The bread basket was to die for! The worst food ever. The Only thing you can have for breakfast or dinner is khachapuri. Khachapuri at dinner time was really good. Also khachapoori for the breakfast was good but it is very small, most probably you need to order two for a person otherwise you need to order more or you will end up to go to buffet. Nothing else you eat there. The food at buffet is " okay". So that night we went to the buffet after having full dinner at habibi, because we couldn't eat any of the foods we ordered. This place deserves a one star review the food took hours to come and when it came it was cold, we asked multiple times for a desert menu and still did not get it. Non smokers are uncomfortable as they are surrounded by a ton of hookah smoke. That was only some of the bad stuff there was many more bad stuff. Over all it was a 2/10. read more
