They don't give you a breakdown of what you're being charged for they come in and rip out all your drywall tear your room apart slap you a $3500 bill demanding money before you even get yours and they want more than what half of what you're going to get To get it fixed and put back together. save yourself the headache and do it yourself. They constantly are harassing you threatening to put a Lien on your property before you even get your money. No matter how many times you tell them. He will have multiple people call with very unprofessional threats/ very rude attitudes. They hide a lot of things they are a definite insurance fraud company. He only responds to the negative reviews and gets offensive and throws (lawyers) in to get ppl to delete there true experience with them (FREEDOM OF SPEECH)!! If you use any restoration company, DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE!!!! It's a headache and a half Update... you also as a company should be ashamed of yourself. I came home on Saturday night and my washer was leaking and there was a huge flood in my laundry room. The water went into the hallway and soaked the carpet. I tried to clean it to the best of my ability but when I woke up on Monday the carpet was starting to smell. David was recommended to me through a good friend. This review is based only on the free consultation provided by H2O Restoration. They were recommended by a plumbing service after we had a leak in our kitchen. I can't recall the name of the employee that was sent out, and although he was polite, I felt uncomfortable with him. After we discussed what was going on, he then asked if it was okay if the rest of his crew came in to take a look, at which point 2 other guys came in. They too, were polite, still I felt a little uncomfortable. Perhaps what concerned me most was the fact that they assured me that our granite island countertop was definitely going to crack in the process of them setting up to dry out the island, especially since another restoration company that we had come out told us that they did this kind of thing all the time and that they rarely had a situation where the granite cracked. They also said there was a chance that the kitchen floor tile may crack in the process, and if that were to happen, they would have to replace all of the flooring. Seemed like too many worst case scenarios. We decided to go with another company, and I found it interesting that we never had one single follow-up call from H2O Restoration after the initial consult. Glad we didn't use them. read more

H2O was referred by the plumber I contacted for a leak in our kitchen ceiling before doing any work. H2O sent two technicians who are very polite. After assessing the leak damage, they mentioned the need to open up the ceiling to see exactly where the leak is and mold assessment, if any. I agreed and explicitly gave them permission. The next question they asked was if insurance will be used to pay for the service. I opted that I pay out of pocket as the leak appears minimal. Several minutes later their supervisor (very polite lady) showed up and asked me if she could check out the damaged ceiling. She (also) asked if insurance will be utilized. Again, I told her this is likely an out pocket. Several minutes after she left, i noticed the two technicians waiting outside by their vehicle smoking. They said they are just waiting for a call from the office. Approx 5 minutes later, they left. After more than a week, no phone call or follow up. Called the plumbing company that made the referral and told me he has no clue what H2O's assessment of the leak was. Eventually, he said that H2O told him I refused for the ceiling to be opened. FALSE! Therefore, I will look for another company (ethical hopefully) to re-assess honestly. UPDATE: intimidation from h2o rep recorded on voicemail. This was re: work done in August 2018. We have a rental property in Winchester and our tenant called to say the water heater was leaking. I called a water heater guy to fix it and based on the wet walls around the unit he said we needed someone to dry it out and repair the wallboard so we didn't get mold. Water heater guy said he works with H2O a lot and said he'd have them come out. I was skeptical that this was a buddy of his he was giving work to, but we aren't local and this was timely so we agreed to have him pass along our info to H2O. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! H2O went to the house within an hour and called me to give us a plan and get our insurance information. They made dealing with an insurance claim and a long distance repair a very easy process. Our tenant was thrilled with the job they did. You'd never know there was a leak. They also did a seamless patch of the drywall inside the house and painted it so it doesn't look like anything ever happened. They were professional, communicated well with us and the tenant, and completed the job quickly. Would definitely use them again! read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. My grandma was sick with Stage 4 Stomach cancer and on top of it found out she had a leak in her wall behind her shower. Her Homeowners Insurance decided they wouldn't pay for it because she should have heard the hissing in the wall. My grandma wore a hearing aid and on a good day we didn't have to yell in her ear so she could hear us. She was a very independent woman and hired H20 to come in and handle the Demo and water water damage that was sustained without notifying her family. All this time she was extremely sick and really didn't understand the cost of having to hire multiple contractors to fix different aspects of the work. When she was at her sickest she received a bill from H20 and we didn't understand the large charge. She felt that the work was just drying the water damage behind the wall. I had my husband call and David sent over pictures immediately of the damage with a break down of the bill showing that there was much more work done than she originally thought. He communicated with us every time we called and was very sympathetic with the situation. In the meantime my grandma kept getting sicker and sicker but this was always something on her mind. She didn't want this final bill to be lingering before she passed away. David couldn't have been more understanding or nice. I'm not saying H20 is in the business of doing free work but David felt so bad about everything going on with my grandma and her Homeowner's Insurance denying something that they definitely should have paid for that he ended up voiding the whole bill. He said it made him and his wife feel better to take that stress off of my grandma as she was dying and not having us deal with anything else while we were mourning. Who does that now a days? Business is to make money...not care about what someone is going through in their life. I am beyond thankful to David and his family for caring about my grandma. My mom cried when she heard that she would be able to pay for my grandma's funeral and not have to stress about how we would finish paying for this project that my grandma didn't fully understand when she started signing contracts. I honestly will recommend them and talk to about them to anyone who has issues with their homes in the future. We were moving into our house this past weekend, and the week before move in, there was a leak from a broken water line in the kitchen. We needed someone to come dry out the water ASAP and my realtor called David and he came out immediately to get going on drying out walls and floors. We then needed to find someone to do all the drywall and framing repairs, and attempted to find someone else but nobody could come out that we called. My realtor reminded me that David could repair it, so I called him right away. His team showed up on Monday and initially he told me it was a 2 to 3 day repair. I was surely surprised and incredibly pleased when his 2 man crew finished the work in 1 day! They were incredibly clean and neat. I am a homeowner that originally had an air conditioning problem. I had a local contractor replace my AC unit with a new one, but unfortunately he did a horrible job and the unit upstairs caused a huge leak (evap coil issue). The showed up the same day and when they arrived they were very professional. Excellent customer service skills and they were very receptive to my situation. They were competitively priced and were very fair. As if it could get any better, the guys who actually came to my home and did the job were outstanding! Valentine and his crew were very attentive to my family's needs and did a great job communicating. They laid out plastic tarps from outside of my home all the way upstairs to my master bedroom. That's over 75 feet of plastic and they covered up all my furniture! Needless to say the final product was nothing less then perfection. I could not even tell that there was ever any issue.
