And there's clam chowder available at the salad bar also. With two teas, our bill was $54. In today's world, that's pretty good. Overall food was great and we would definitely come back.

The staff was incredibly kind and patient with 8 toddlers as we had the entire upstairs to ourselves. They seemed as happy as we were to celebrate my mother while managing an unusually large party for their area. As for the food, I have to say it was fantastic. They have these cheddar biscuits similar to red lobster except it was softer and way more flavorful. I had their seasonal cocktail, I forgot the name it was called lover something but that needs to be a year round drink. I'm an avid steak lover and I score steaks hard. My cut to assess skill is the ribeye cooked medium. When I saw the 16oz steak I was thinking it might be overcooked because it was thinner than what I was expecting. I was surprised to find it was cooked perfectly medium, had an excellent crust, and was a tender bite bursting with flavor. I've been to upscale steakhouses across the country and this small town punches way above its weight class while providing fair pricing. I will definitely visit again.

Ended up asking the bartender for my soda tab as we were leaving. She asked what the issue was & I explained that waiting 42 minutes was a bit much for 2 simple meals. She was kind enough to let the drink charge slide & we left. I have been to many restaurants far busier than this & have never had to wait that long for food. Even if I deducted the 10 minutes it took just waiting for our server, it doesn't discount an unusually long wait for simple meals during a very slow period. We really wanted to try this chophouse but it wasn't meant to be.

We have avoided going here for so long with no apparent reason. Previous Yelp feedback was sketchie and inconsistent which may have attributed to our hesitation. With reading that the service was sometimes lacking and food portion sizes perfect for a bird, we decided to hit it with low expectations. Well, we did not experience any of the negative feedback that was previously written up and had an over all very pleasant dinner. With never going here, we started off with the edamame beans, spring rolls and Thai egg rolls. The apps we had were just ok, nothing to spend a lot of time writing about. If I have a recommendation for future visitors, do not get the apps we had but instead branch out. My main course of Pad Thai beef was excellent. Unfortunately I've not had it before to know what the others taste like so I'm going purely based on my new experience which was delightful. The spice of the meal had an initial punch, maybe more of a slap, but went away and was not so much so that it negatively impacted the dish. My wife had the Hibachi filet and shrimp which she said was really good. Steak was cooked just like she wanted with the perfect ratio of tenderness to taste. The service was great. I drink a LOT of tea when I eat and the gentleman that was taking care of us kept the glass filled. The seating area was nicely lit, not stacked up on top of one another and quiet. Price to Portion ratio. Not sure I can say enough good things about that as I would easily have paid double for what I got and still would have been happy about it.
