Food is always delicious and the staff are great ! This is a family owned restaurant and the family is always very friendly

Great little Chinese buffet with better than normal quality, distinct flavors, everything was the right temperature and the staff was constantly bringing out fresh items. They did not skimp on the meats as many Chinese buffets do either. The soft drinks were correct too, sometimes these places water them down squeeze a little more profit out of it. read more

My kids loved this place! It's small, but have a big variety of options for everyone! Even my almost 3 year old and 5 year old loved it! It was busy on a Sunday night! They seemed to refresh the buffet regularly with many traditional buffet options including the scoops of ice cream! read more

Lots of options but unfortunately most of them were very greasy. Ice cream was a good treat at the emd of the meal.

Food is delicious! Everything that's supposed to be hot was hot and fresh. Service was fast and the restaurant nice. We'll be back!

The quality and wide selection of food here is always good! When you arrive, the employees are welcoming and attentive. As with most Asian inspired restaurants, this one is spacious and has private booths. One of my favorites here is the Crab Imperial! I've tried making it at home, but theirs is supreme! read more

I am gonna give this place 5 stars because It really surpassed my expectations. Honesty when I go to a Chinese Buffet that charges under $10, my expectations are really low. It is definitely not the best Chinese food I've had or the best Buffett were I've been but if you are looking for decent quality and good price this place is a great option. Food was good overall, excellent choices, good flavor and they even had steaks! The best thing for me is that the food felt fresh which doesn't happen in most of the Chinese Buffets. read more

Golden China Buffet - Sesame Chicken with Pork Fried Rice. - Chinese Near Me - Kinston, North Carolina

Fresh, delicious food. Good, diverse buffet. Friendly service and helpful staff. Best Chinese in Kinston.

Good price for the quality, could be a bit better about having fresh items on the buffet

I had hot and sour soup with the combo pineapple chicken. The soup was very good. I add a little sambal for some heat. The egg roll was very tasty too. The chicken was well flavored, but could have used a little more sauce. There are several other items on the menu that I'm looking forward to trying. read more

I've tried just about every Chinese restraint in Kinston and have had horrible luck, with food that was inedible. However, Golden China Buffet is the best in town by far! Food is fresh and delicious! Employees are very friendly. read more

The food here is great. The buffet selection is relatively smaller than some of the larger style Asian buffet. With that being said, I've never had an issue with cold food from the buffet bars. The staff are friendly, albeit not too talkative. The interior is clean, and there's multiple tables seated on either side of the establishment, from booths to open floor tables. It's a great meet up spot if you want to bring friends and family to a smaller buffet setting. read more

Food was not very good, I should have followed my first instinct to leave after seeing their 90% sanitation rating. But my group and I decided to give them a chance. Well not even 20 minutes later I had montezumas revenge I was sick the entire weekend. If you value your intestines don't eat here. read more

They have very good takeout. I've only tried two and that is the boneless sparerib Combo and their general Taos combo. My husband loves her egg foo yong and I did try it and it was delicious and we've been to their Buffet once And it was good to just don't live in Kinston to get bite as much as we would like read more

they kept looking at us they don't even give you time to eat and they give you the receipt when is not even asked for

We did a take out order. The food was so bad, we couldn't even eat it!!! Ordered Chicken, but it had been fried in oil that was fried with fish. With the second bite there was hard pieces in the chicken. Even the fried rice had a fish taste. read more

Our GPS had trouble locating the address. Just turn in Walmart entrance. It's right there... We were very pleased with the buffet. So many choices and everything was very good. My husband really enjoyed the frog legs - prepared perfectly. read more

the food was super good for the price and this tought me to not judge a book by its cover

Insulting, overpriced, and not that tasty! Went there for the FIRST time and was there for lunch. Was not very hot and kinda old but definitely not very tasty at all. This was for my daughters birthday and she chose this place. They put out sushi without signs saying that would then make your meal supper priced. They didn't even like the sushi and when I paid it was close to 30.00 for me and my 13 and 11 year old daughters. I told them I didn't like the taste of the food and the owner told me that I must not like that type of food anyway! Ah no!! I love that food just not her food! It was not good and not marked well and overpriced. Will never go back. Once was enough read more

We just left golden China Buffet after literally throwing up in the parking lot. As with most buffets, people tend to eat more than less, but this still doesn't excuse the extreme distaste left in our mouths after leaving. The food was bland, but seemingly ok until we experienced the seafood/ sushi. My fiancée found a piece of hotdog in his sushi roll and I was just left feeling nauseous. Never again! Despite the price break, it was most definitely not worth it. We contacted the restaurant and they did nothing to reassure us or try to make up for the experience. *If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more
