I did a DoorDash order for Main Moon and ordered some Teriyaki Chicken from there and EVERY one of them were Burnt. This food should NEVER have been sold to Anyone and I will NEVER EVER order food from this place again and wish I could show the picture of this food they sold me..Anyone wanting to see the picture I took just email me at twade4320@gmail.com read more

The vegetables lomain nice staff the teriyaki chicken is cooked to much.but still have good food.

The Shrimp & Cashews should be renamed to Carrots & Celery with just a taste of Shrimp & Cashews. The large helping of rice, carrots and celery came with a taste of three shrimp and eight cashews halves. The Spring Rolls were just ok and still can't find my Fortune Cookie! read more

The bourbon chicken is good. There is a little spice to it which makes it delicious. Rice is also good. read more

Main Moon - Bourbon chicken - Chinese Near Me - Kinston, North Carolina

Customer service is a joke Very rude, no expression or personality at all! Hung up on me when I called in order Handed me the food and said here, no thank you or have a good day. Food is what it is but customer service is always a plus! Very rude people read more

Good food and good price! I know a lot of people say they are rude but they aren't . You call they take the order and just hang up it's because they're busy. Stop being a crybaby read more

I love ordering from here, every time we call in they are always so nice and don't laugh at our funny requests. Yes, there can be a wait sometimes because they are busy, it comes with the good service and good food that they bring. I have never had a bad experience here and will continue to go for years! read more

This is not the old Main Moon! They've obviously sold out, and are called the New Main Moon. And boy, is there a difference. The old Main Moon had really good food. My husband went there last week, saw the sign covered up, so he went inside. They said they were open, so he ordered fried shrimp and pork lo mein. The shrimp were fried so hard they could crack a tooth, and the lo mein was tasteless with little to no vegetables. I won't be going back read more

Although it has gotten way too expensive for me to go there that often, this is hands down the best Chinese food you can get around here. I always get Lo Mein and the people there remember me and how I like it made and just ask if I want the usual. Even after not going there for years when I walked back in they welcomed me again and remembered my exact order as well. No restaurant near here even comes close to anything as delicious as this one. I've tried every Chinese restaurant in a good radius around here and haven't enjoyed any of them enough to satisfy me like Main Moon. read more

They have good fried chicken wings but it's not worth the price seeming as though the price always change or atleast for me. I'm new to the little town Kinston and everyone knows because of my New York accent so the lady seems to over charge me everytime and I order the same thing everytime fried chicken wings chopped up with shrimp fried rice which cost me in between $12.94-$14.30 I don't spend my money or time there any more I appreciate businesses that Handel business well not like criminal because your from out of town read more

I love this place. The food is always consistent, which is good. The beef w/snow peas & sesame chicken has always been my favorite. The workers are always nice. When you ride by it may not look like much, but don't let the look fool you. It is good Chinese food read more

Best Chinese I've had in Kinston. Small place with drive thru. Standard menu and short wait. Live very close so im a regular. read more

Wish I could give it a negative number. This restaurant is the worse prepared to service customers during COVID-19 of any restaurant I have been to. Bottom line, if you want to wait in the street behind 9 cars for an order you phoned in for mediocre food, this is your place. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! read more

This is the best Chinese food in at least the vast distance surrounding the area. I've been going here for years and only once or twice has it been anything less than perfect. People giving it bad reviews because of one shitty experience they had like when they all ordered at once is ridiculous. read more

I love Main Moon! Their Lo Mein is good, the sautéed broccoli in brown sauce is perfect and I always have to order potstickers. If you like curry, order the Singapore Noodle with extra shrimp (only shrimp). So delicious and there's enough for two. Being from Philly and having lived in NYC, Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta and Boston, plus having chef friends, I'm pretty picky about food. Main Moon is consistently great! read more

Love this place! Whenever I visit my family, I make sure to stop by. I grew up on it and have had just about every menu item. They offer amazing service and the price is pretty good too. You will find that people who dine here are loyal because they offer amazing food and customer service. read more

Standard take out Chinese food. It is nothing out of the ordinary, so don't expect much. I have yet to find anything on the menu I could truly recommend. read more

If I could give ZERO starts I would!! My co-worker places a to-go order and I went to pick it up (along with a few order from Aggie's next door). I entered the restaurant and was greeted kindly and asked how they could help me. I told them I was picking up an order for (gave her name). I was told that they don't take names and I needed to know what she ordered. The female then proceeded to tell me that she didn't have any call in orders and asked if I was sure I was at the correct location. I called my co-worker who assured me that she HAD indeed called in an order there and told me what she ordered. I told the female (and male who had walked up help) what she ordered & hung up with my co-worker. They then told me that someone had already picked up that call-in order. I told them we were sure NO ONE had picked up that order that I was there to pick it up. The female was nasty and said there was nothing she could do because my co-worker was mixed up and sent two people to pick up the order. She then told me that I would have to wait "a while" so they could remake the order. I explained to her that the mistake was not on my part and that her attitude was nasty and rude! The male then stepped in and asked me to give them a min (while they began conversing in their native language). He then said that they had that same order in the drive-thru and must have mistakenly given it away. I thanked him for acknowledging the mistake. She then rang me out but offered no apology, no compensation, no thank you for still ordering and WAITING! NEVER AGAIN!! read more

Been going to this place for years, always satisfied! Food is always great and always left with a full stomach lol.

Your average Chinese take out food. Nothing to jump for joy over, but it's not bad. I ordered fried rice with vegetables and what I got was not what I expected. But maybe it's the norm for this area. The vegetables were huge chunks. I prefer smaller cut up pieces in my rice. I actually had to chop them up myself. read more
