    Hot stone bibimbap

We had a pretty big party, service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing! We had hot pot bibimbap and Korean style ramen. It was legit good. I compare all ramen to ramen I ate when I lived in Japan and this was just as good but with Korean flavoring.

Ramen, bulgogi, egg, and pot stickers. Rice at the end of you're up for it! The server says that adding cheese is the trick. Haven't tried.

I can only speak for the ramen, as it is the only thing I go here for! Best in town, hands down! Keep in mind that the broth is different from the Japanese ramen that you may be familiar with. I thought I wasn't a fan of ramen until I came here. The service is very homey. The servers are very nice. Though, it may get rough during heavy traffic hours. It includes noodles, bulgogi, fried pot stickers, and a scrambled egg. Once you are finished, a server will come by and ask if you're ready for rice... What?! Omg more food! Yes, please (at this time you're completely stuffed)!

Tried this place out with co-workers and I personally wasn't too pleased. It lacked in seasoning and actual Korean spice. After spending a few days in Korea, their food is hard to forget because of their unique combination of spices with certain foods. I had their Korean wings and it didn't taste anything like Korean wings, it almost tasted like Pizza Hut wings, but double fried. For my main course I had bulgogi, and even that lacked in seasoning. By this review you can tell I wasn't too pleased, and I probably wont be visiting again.

    Looks and smell so good!!!

If you don't want super sweet teriyaki sauce on literally everything, don't go here. Get scallops?…read more Have a squirt of teriyaki sauce. Just veggies, big ole wad of teriyaki sauce. Who puts teriyaki sauce on scallops and veggies. Order Hibachi chicken, bam, teriyaki chicken. Never have I been to a Hibachi place, and I have been to a ton, and seen so much teriyaki sauce used on literally everything. Again, who douses the veggies in teriyaki sauce. I've never had such bad food at a hibachi restaurant. I mean the cook could have asked if we wanted teriyaki sauce. Nothing we ordered was teriyaki. Service, young waiter, took our drink order, brought them out and the soup and salad. Had I not asked about dressings I would have got ginger, which I'm not a fan of. When all was done and the waiter asked us how everything was. We told him that everything was covered in teriyaki and we didn't order any teriyaki. Anyways, basically two full plates taken home, mainly because we paid for them, but never again. Seriously, who covers the veggies (zucchini, onions, mushrooms) in 100% teriyaki sauce. Overall everything was just teriyaki flavored and no where close to the other hibachi restaurants we go to.

Food was ok. Service was fine. Our server was young and definitely trying to make a living. She was…read moreattentive, and obviously pretty new to this role. She's learning and I can appreciate that. The place appeared to be clean and newly renovated. The exhaust fans and the grills were noticeably cleaner than what we are accustomed to. We were definitely grateful for that. The seating arrangements were closer than we are used to in DC/MD/VA. There were literally five people in our party (four adults and a toddler). There were also two other couples seated with us around one grill. We spent over $200.00 and the chef stole shrimp from us. (See video) Very disheartening that your employees have to steal food. We ordered the Samurai dinner, an additional order of scallops, two Mai Tai, children shrimp, chicken and fried rice, salmon and shrimp, vegetable sushi, steak hibachi, and whatever else is on the receipt. I usually make it my business to graciously tip the chef and graciously tip the server. I did not tip the chef anything because he took his own tip today. Not sure how they generally tip in Goldsboro NC but the waitress/server was super shocked by receiving a 25% gratuity. I've never had two strong Mai Tai for $9.00 each. That's absolutely unheard of in our neck of the woods. I expect for Wafu to contact me and make this right.
