Our last visit there was a sign on the door that said prices have increased. I understand that. What we didn't expect was everything after that. The menu did indicate higher prices. We did not expect the slow service and probably the worst food experience here. After a while, the waitress finally took our order. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. The wife ordered the pad Thai chicken. After a lengthy wait our food was delivered. Or what we thought was our food. Both dishes were a nightmare. Mine had hardly any chicken, A LOT of vegetables, all soaking in a what resembled a soupy sweet and sour mess. The wife was very displeased with hers as well. It was very strange this evening for sure. Not positive what happened this evening, but I'm going to stay away for a while. Not sure I'll return honestly. This was my first stop in Goldsboro however, and it appears not to be one of those havens. This place was bare-bones, with one or two tables which were mostly used for people waiting for takeout. The reason I stopped was for the vegetarian selection; their tofu dish had some dubious vegetable selections but it was a full dish with a passable spicy and sweet sauce, and fried tofu is by its nature delicious. The person taking orders was quite orderly, like extremely so. I might have attained higher culinary standards had I kept driving to a bigger city, but I can give this place credit for providing a basic dish that would be hard to find in the surrounding countryside.
