I've been wanting to try this spot for a while now, but never seem to find the time when I come to Greenville. It's always a day trip, however this time I was in town for a training and had the taste for sushi. I was in the area shopping and decided to check it out. The restaurant closes at 9:30 during the week, and it was around 8:00pm when I arrived. I didn't know they had AYCE sushi. They offer it at lunch and dinner. The dinner menu is a little more extensive than lunch. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I opted for the AYCE. The server was attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful when it came time to order. You basically let them know what you want and it's cooked to order. The dinner menu has more sushi options to choose from, and they did not disappoint. Majority of the sushi rolls come with 4 pieces, except the volcano roll comes with 6. Ambiance is very laid back and the restaurant has plenty of seating and it's very spacious. Staff were very friendly and willing to help to make my dining experience a great one. Dinner was about $28 but IMO it's definitely worth it bc you have a lot to choose from. Such a great experience at this establishment. Carl Was our waiter and literally went above and beyond for us. I usually don't have high expectations when it comes to buffet and all you can eat food, but the quality of this food was pretty good. I would definitely pass on the summer roll and the crab Rangoon but everything else was absolutely delicious. Definitely get the udon noodles along with the hibachi shrimp and steak. All of the sushi rolls we ate were delicious and tasted fresh And the Nigiri was also good. Didn't have much salt but nothing soysauce couldn't fix. read more

Was looking for sushi in Greenville this summer so I went to Q Sushi for the sushi buffet and though they make each roll to order the amount of fish was just a tease. Pretty and clean inside. Huge 2 story restaurant. We didn't realize until we sat down that the dinner menu (which starts at 3) is all-you-can-eat. It's a limited menu and they bring it out as small plates as you order. The waiter was great and the food came out very fast. We had salmon sashimi, pole sashimi salmon, some Jalepenos stuffed and fried, udon stir fry (not a fan), udon soup (plain broth but good). So I have been eating sushi for almost 40 YEARS. I think I know what is good sushi. So I ordered only sushi items. Unfortunately, I could have had better sushi from a local market. It was awful. I drive to Greenville every other weekend to have lunch with my youngest son, who lives in town. We typically eat at Q Sushi once a month as I come to town every other week and we alternate between here and a local Chinese establishment. Today, I was accompanied by my oldest son, who lives near me, to my youngest son's home, to check the crawl space for air duct leaks and after getting myself cleaned up, buy my sons lunch at Q Sushi. Today, July 26, 2025, we were served by a young lady named Claire. During our meal, we interacted with Claire as we do with all of the servers, everywhere we go. At some point in our conversation Claire made reference to her being old. While both of my sons sat there, I asked Claire, "how old are you"? and she replied "23". I then asked Claire, "so are you a young 23 like you just had a birthday or an old 23 as in being 23 and 11 months old?" Claire replied, "my birthday was in May, so I am an old 23' or something to this effect. So I then replied, 'so, you have cobwebs", meaning like those that you find in an old house. Now this entire exchange was in a very friendly tone and I observed no adverse reaction to anything I had said, nor did I intend anything that I said to mean anything other than what I already stated. After these remarks, Claire brought me a bowl of vanilla ice cream and I told her that the meal would be on one bill. Claire brought the bill and I told her that I needed to leave her a tip, and she took my credit card and the bill to the cashier. In a few minutes Claire returned, placed the bill with my credit on the table and said "tip away". The total bill was $89.71 and I gave her a tip of $30.00 for a total of $119.71, the time for this purchase was 1:38 pm. At the time that I left the tip and signed the bill, Claire was at another table, so we simply got up and walked out to the parking lot. I had climbed into the back seat of my youngest son's Nissan Xterra, while my oldest son was smoking a cigarette on the other side of the Xterra, speaking to my youngest son. I then heard another conversation begin and heard my oldest son say, "you need to talk to him" (meaning me) about that. I walked around the Xterra and saw the manager of Q sushi standing there. When I asked "what is going on"? The manager then said, "the young lady that served you has complained, and said that you told her that she " had cob webs between her legs (in so many words?) and that I had also called her a "bloody tampon"! he also said that other women had repeated similar things about me. My oldest son was standing right there and said, "that did not happen and he didn't say anything that could be taken that way at all". I then approached the manager and told him " I am a 100 percent disabled, honorably retired, Delta Force combat veteran and would not be slandered by anyone. I then said, "Let's just call the police and let them sort this out". The manager replied, "we don't need to escalate this". I felt this to be an odd response if I had in fact conducted myself in this manner? He then said, " you are no longer welcome at this establishment". I replied accordingly and we left the area. Please understand that I have never eaten there alone and have always been accompanied by one or both of my sons while eating there. I have always given each server a generous tip and been friendly with all of them. In the past twenty or thirty times that we have had lunch at Q Sushi, nothing of this nature has ever happened. Also you should know that I raised my two sons entirely by myself after a female judge awarded me sole custody in 2012 because my ex-wife did not maintain a stable life and was not a good mother. I also represented myself after firing five different family law attorneys. Both of my sons are successful, educated, have their own homes and good jobs. I was a Paratrooper, Special Forces (SFQC 3-83) and Delta Force Operator (OTC-18) by the age of 24. I am not the kind of man to act this way. I recommend that the owner of Q Sushi terminate the manager and female server (if truly involved) immediately. Greenville, the general public and my family all deserve better than that currently involved in the daily operation of this establishment. To Claire, I can't imagine how my innocent comment could be misconstrued so badly., especially when our entire interaction took place in the presence of my two, adult sons. Had another great meal at Q today. Our waiter , Braxton , was very pleasant and knowledgeable of menu items. We were there at lunch but chose to order from the Dinner menu for $26.95. I enjoy the sashimi appetizers only offered from the dinner menu. So delicious . My favorite is the seared pepper tuna. The red snapper with eel sauce is delicious as well. The eel sauce is the key - it is thick with notes of caramel . AWESOME!! I had the shrimp shumai which are like crispy little hors d'ouvres . The spring rolls are tiny crispy delicious morsels as well. My wife had the spring rolls, crab rangoons and red snapper sashimi for starters. She enjoyed them immensely. She had Mexican Roll, Volcano Roll, Greenville Blvd Roll. She loved the flavors but thought the Volcano Roll pieces were too large then the spicy crab was piled high on top. She had to cut each piece into thirds. Was unsure why all rolls came 4 pieces to an order( she prefers this way as she can explore more rolls ) but the Volcano comes 6 pieces ? I had the Out Of Control Roll, Unagi Don ( rice with grilled eel on top) and Crazy Tuna Roll. All were delicious and the rice was still warm which made them even more enjoyable. Unsure why the one reviewer fibbed about no picture or info of rolls a year ago. Each item even the appetizers have pictures as well as complete descriptions. Probably a troll for competition? They have had same menus since their opening day. Seems a bit slanderous to openly lie about the menus especially in this day and age of misinformation ruling the internet. We make it our quarterly dining destination as we live 90 minutes away and we make a whole day out of our trip to Greenville from hitting Lowe's, Fred's Outlet and US Foods Chef Store then cap off day by dining at Q. read more

As far as daytime all you can eat sushi goes this is my new top favorite. As a Greenville local I've tried the usual spots but the wasabi to Q sushi small business model is both smart and tasty. Just left and I will say we will definitely be back our waitress Cara was amazing! We never felt like we went getting our food quick enough even though we could see they were busy for the amount of servers they had. My friend who was with us who has been in the service industry helped by cleaning a table off and the manager Mike who was also amazing asked if everything was OK because our friend was "helping" lol and we had to assure him that we were very satisfied with our service. The Q in Q Sushi must stand for Questionable Sushi. Don't embarrass yourself by eating here. Where to begin? With the fact that though they claim separate lunch and dinner menus, neither the waitress nor the manager explained that on Saturdays lunch and dinner both fall under dinner's heavy price ($27). We ordered strictly from the lunch menu, avoiding all dinner prices, only to be presented with an $83 bill for one adult and two kids at 11am. There was a tepid apology, but this is a restaurant that just opened. This pricing situation should be explained And if one parses the language on the menu, it could be equally understood that this simply means that dinner is available all day Saturday, rather than the lunch menu prices are voided. We ordered strictly from the lunch menu but were charged for dinner. As for the food: The Salad lettuce was stale, chewy, and drowning in a watery ginger sauce. Basically inedible. The sushi was undersized and of questionable quality. Though they cater to sushi newcomers, they only offer Japanese names for their offerings, with no picture on the menu. In at least 3 cases this caused us to order what was delivered as a soup spoon with a tablespoon of rice and tasteless fish eggs that any respectable sushi restaurant (Tokyo, Shogun, etc, here in town) would only serve as decoration on top of a roll, like sprinkles on a cupcake. See my photos as an example. And the "spicy tuna" roll was 95% bread crumbs, 5% tuna...maybe? At best, Greenville's worst sushi restaurant (and that's saying something!). Love that Greenville has another sushi option. FOOD- the quality of the sushi is good. I was surprised that the time to prepare was quicker than anticipated. The size and portions are much smaller than some other sushi options. Not unexpected with an all you can eat Prefer a tighter sushi roll. Lots of appetizers to consider. Hibachi is a good option for a larger portion- well cooked. Rolls were generic. Could be more creative with custom or more premium rolls. Tough to tell difference between some rolls. Like to see this place offer rolling sushi in cucumber for those who don't eat rice. SERVICE- the 3 stars comes mostly from the service. Our server (bless her heart) was overwhelmed. We waited 10 minutes before she approached her us. Our order was at the table before our drinks. We had to ask others to find her twice which is a big deal when eating at an all you can eat place. She became almost passive aggressive throughout the night in her apologies. I was a bit scared by her approach after we asked others to locate her. Those delivering and clearing plates were on top of things and very polite- very different from our primary server. DECOR- like the new decor- very different from old pizza inn. $26 a lot for all you can eat but willing to pay for good quality. Give it another try but expected a bit more. read more

Our first surprise was their "all you can eat" menu, where your order is taken at your table and made to order. And they were fast, REALLY fast. This wasn't your typical Chinese buffet sushi, but crafted plates of good quality fish! It was so good I went back a few days later and sat solo for my dinner, consuming 26 pieces of sushi, two rolls, two spring rolls, edemame, seaweed salad, and a plate of chirashi. I visited Q Sushi for the first time in February 2024, just to try this restaurant/buffet out for dining. We were greeted with cordiality and friendliness when we first entered. As we sat down and viewed the menu I was amazed at the choices and selections that we had available. Everything on the buffet menu was available to order. Being a buffet I was impressed how the waitress was able to keep up with our orders as we kept ordering and selecting from the menu items. The food items were very tasty and flavorful. I enjoyed the varied food items and selections and tried items that were new to me . We will go there again whenever we have the opportunity to visit Greenville again. Usually on the weekends. This was my first visit. I had the Godzilla roll that was excellent! It's the service that wasn't coordinated very well. There were no visible prices on the menu. So, you had to ask a lot of questions to know what you were getting for your money.There were several back-and-forth trips down the stairs for our table. When we got ready to check out and had come downstairs, staff was just standing around with their arms folded and several just scrammed never once acknowledging our standing there, ready to check out. This is a great bargain ! They give you small portions to reduce waste, which I love. The spring rolls and mozzarella sticks were so good. The cucumber avocado roll was good when drenched in soy sauce. I'm not too sure if the ingredients for that were fresh. Our waitress could've been better, but that type of service seems common in NC.
