Ended up asking the bartender for my soda tab as we were leaving. She asked what the issue was & I explained that waiting 42 minutes was a bit much for 2 simple meals. She was kind enough to let the drink charge slide & we left. I have been to many restaurants far busier than this & have never had to wait that long for food. Even if I deducted the 10 minutes it took just waiting for our server, it doesn't discount an unusually long wait for simple meals during a very slow period.
