I had no engagement with staff while in the store so can't comment on that bit. I took a Waymo so can't comment on parking either but I was a little confused at first by the different set up here. They have 2 stories! So if you're looking for something and don't see it on the first floor, head up the stairs and it'll probably be there. They do have an elevator, as well, if needed. By the registers, they have 3 Self Checkouts for easy self-serve shopping. One staff was monitoring the operations but it was a seamless experience for me. You just gotta keep in mind you are downtown so you may encounter unhomed people and all that comes with that.

We've entered 2021 where life is about efficiency and everything is done online now. Forget coming into the pharmacy, have it delivered directly to your door! Communication is done via text, phone, and/or email. You can transfer your prescriptions to Capsule, and/or have your doctor send the scripts over. From there, once they process everything, they'll send you a note stating the item is ready and you'll schedule a day/time for delivery. Note: you must be home for delivery, delivery can even be scheduled for that same day!

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I would like to say the past few times have been wonderful I went in this morning to pick up my prescription and found out my insurance wasn't covering my meds because of the ER provider which I understood but the gentleman at the register gave me a discounted price and a coupon so I could afford my breathing meds. Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

What a dirtball operation this place is I have serious chronic pain daily and I find out from a…read morepain doctor I went to that I have over a 600 score with the Texas Department of Pharmacy even though I am currently taking 2 pills gababentin and meloxicam none of which are narcotics , the pain doctor tells me he cant prescribe me anything because the score is too high and he is worried about losing his license. I called Texas Dept of Pharmacy they were Zero help told me I could request my records but you have to send them a copy of your Social Security card, pay a fee, drivers license and get it notarized. There is no point in requesting records because what good it that going to do me. I am being blocked from getting the pain pills that I need in beautiful Texas because of some BS records that are painting me as some high risk patient which is not the case. My only stop now it to call a lawyer which is disgusting that I have to go through this to not be in pain.
