Worse place to purchase a vehicle. Management nor sale team stand behind there vehicles. FAKE INSPECTION! CARS IN HORRIBLE CONDITION!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! I purchased the car at the beginning of July! Your dealership purchased the vehicle 04/19/23. I have the title! I have a Turo fleet of over 20 vehicles and would encourage all turo members and host to never do business here

I bought my 2013 BMW 328ix from here and I have been getting my maintenance done regularly. My car's engine failed yesterday. Note my car had less than 100,000 miles on it. My check engine light never went on and my oil status was changed to permanently show that the oil was good. My car turned off while I was on the highway yesterday due to an oil leak. If my lights on my dashboard wouldn't have been changed to show that they were permanently good then my car would still be working now. I am now left with no car and when I contacted the dealership about this they did not deny having messed with the dashboard and lights. If you are thinking about buying a car from here, DON'T. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

I spoke with Oscar today over the phone regarding possibly purchasing a 2000 Nissan Maxima. Oscar was very professional over the phone. However, once I arrived at the lot, I met the Owner (I can't tell you his name because he never properly introduced himself.) who was rather rude. I told him, "Hi, I'm Eugene - we spoke over the phone. I'm here to purchase the Maxima. I'd like to check it out." The man told me, "Okay, there it is you can have a look." and he walks away. I asked him if he needed my Drivers License or anything because I would like to take the car for a drive. He said, "Well you're checking out the vehicle.... there it is - look at it." (He said it as if he didn't want to sell the car to me.) I said I'd like the keys to drive it Sir. He takes my license, copies it and gives it back to me. I get inside the car and noticed it smelled like water was in there. I look up and notice there was water damage to the ceiling near the Sun Roof. I drove the car around the block and came right back. The car rides very smoothly, engine sounds ok too. I get out the car and told him that the car has water damage and its leaking. He tells me, "There is no water damage. They cleaned the car and it hasn't dried so thats what you are noticing. You can get inside the car and I'll turn the water hose on it so that you can see there's no leaking." So I get inside the car and tell him to hose it. The owner hoses the car down and I notice water leaking from the Sun Roof. He asked me where is it leaking? I tell him where it was leaking and showed him. He said, "Oscar take this man back to the Metro Station." I said, "I didn't say I didn't want the car! I am asking you can you come down $1,000 on the price?" Owner say's, "I will not come down $1.00 dollar because I'm so stuck up.... (rolls his eyes)." I said, "Okay, well if you're stuck up then you should work on that attitude because Best Business Practice is to have a more kind, polite and welcoming attitude towards customers all of whom are potential buyers." He gets irate with me and starts fussing and cursing at me. I said okay cool... At that point I'm angry and told some people there not to buy a car from this man because they see how he's treating me right now and I'm a customer. He storms over and jumps in my face and starts telling me "If you have anything to say or any questions you can direct them to me - this is MY business!" I informed him, "Sir this is NOT your business! This is the sidewalk, your business jurisdiction stops on that pavement over there. Right now we're on the sidewalk and you're in my face and I feel threatened with your language, your tone and threatening body postures and its a pandemic so you're much TOO CLOSE TO ME please back up!" He continues to curse me so I rushed out of that place. I walked a block and called my brother before entering the metro station. As I'm telling my brother what happened, I reach into my briefcase for my cigarettes and saw that I forgot to give the man his damn car keys back. I stuck them in the outer briefcase pocket while I was inspecting underneath the hood and interior of the trunk. I refused to go back to that awful place so I threw the keys in the bushes and continued on my way. I think it was Oscar that drove up and asked me if I had the keys to the car. I told him, "Oh yeah! I forgot to hand over the keys because I was in such a hurry to escape that mans presence but once I realized I still had the keys I threw them in the bushes as I was walking." I called them back later at approximately 5:52pm and asked them if they found the keys. He said yes they got the keys but the owner was going to report me to the Police for having stolen the keys and that they have cameras in the place and you cannot steal keys. I said good! If you have cameras in there then let the cameras reveal how irate the man was towards me thus causing me to rush out of there which caused me to forget I still had the keys. That place is a nightmare. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!! DO NOT purchase your car from this place. They tried to sell me a lemon and I called them out on it so the man got angry and disrespected me. That car was CLEARLY submerged in water at some point and you can see the rust along the wheels, water damage inside the car on the carpet and you can smell the water inside the car and especially the trunk. The Owner was so disrespectful and nasty towards me that I literally felt as if he would've attacked me so I did not feel safe enough to return to that place to give him those keys back especially considering I was alone, so I threw the keys in the bushes so NOW he's claiming I "stole" the keys to the flooded vehicle. The photo below shows where he called me while I was on the phone chatting with my brother about what just occurred. I didn't click over because I was on a call and I wanted no more dealings with that place.

As a Latina woman, I usually feel very uncomfortable with the typical dealership experience and to be honest I have always disliked it. In the past I have not always been treated with the respect and professionalism I expected -- although I want to clarify those experiences were not at Honda dealerships. This was actually my first time visiting a Honda dealership, and I truly wish I had done it much earlier. Before visiting Safford Honda Arlington, I had recently purchased a 2023 Honda CR-V from CarMax. I stopped by the Honda dealership mostly out of curiosity because I wanted to see what the price difference would be for the same vehicle but brand new for 2026. I was still within the return window for the CarMax purchase, and I simply wanted to compare my options. From the moment I arrived, my salesperson Yousuf Mahmoud treated me with genuine respect, patience, and professionalism. I even mentioned that I didn't want to waste his time because I was mostly asking questions, but he never made me feel that way. Instead, he encouraged me to see the car and suggested we take a test drive. After driving the vehicle, we sat down and discussed the numbers. What impressed me the most was how open the team was to a real and respectful negotiation. I had done my homework and came prepared with a number that I felt comfortable with, understanding that dealerships are businesses and also need to make a fair profit. I wasn't expecting unrealistic discounts -- I simply wanted a fair deal for both sides. At one point sales manager and senior salesperson even joined the conversation to help make the deal work, which showed me that they truly cared about finding a solution. Another factor that helped my decision was the current used car market. The difference between the used 2023 vehicle with 26,000 miles and a brand-new 2026 ended up being roughly around 11.5% /12% which made going with a new vehicle make much more sense for me. Beyond the negotiation itself, the level of hospitality I experienced was something I had never seen at a dealership before. They offered me water, and when I mentioned that I was cold they brought me tea and even asked what type of tea I preferred. Some members of the team even offered me a jacket because I was freezing that day. Later they even picked me up at the metro station so I could return to the dealership to pick up my car. Those gestures might seem small, but to me they showed genuine kindness and respect. As a woman walking into a dealership where most of the staff are men, I truly felt listened to, valued, and treated professionally throughout the entire process. In the end, I left with a brand-new 2026 Honda CR-V EX-L, and I couldn't be happier with both the car and the experience. I never thought I would say this because I usually dislike dealerships, but this team completely changed my perception. If any of my friends or family are ever looking for a Honda or even a quality used car, I will absolutely recommend Safford Honda Arlington and especially working with Yousuf Mahmoud. They made what is usually a stressful experience feel fair, comfortable, and genuinely positive.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership roughly 2 years ago, and the process to…read morepurchase the vehicle was tedious, yet expected. But my real issue with this dealership isn't their tedious processes - it's with their incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional staff/managers. When I purchased my pre-owned vehicle from this Koons Arlington Toyota dealership, I was given two sets of keys. Fast forward to a couple of week ago and my car was experiencing some battery/engine problems, so I brought it to a local mechanic. By the time the mechanics had gotten to my vehicle, the battery had died. The mechanics informed me that the key I had been given by the dealership was not the actual key to my car door, and that the key FOB had been programmed to my car despite the key not being a fit for my door. After fixing my car, I checked the second, spare key that this dealership gave me when I purchased the car and confirmed that both keys do not open my door. I immediately called this dealership to explain what had happened and to ask if it was common practice at their dealership to sell vehicles with mismatched car keys, and their manager was very rude and short with me over the phone. He told me "there was no way to prove that I didn't swap out or replace the keys on my own" even though I told him I still had the original tags on my spare car key ring from when I initially purchased the vehicle, and that they would not provide me with a set of replacement keys that would actually unlock the door of my vehicle that I purchased for almost $20,000 for at this dealership. Horrible customer service from top to bottom, and I will be sure to tell everyone I can that they shouldn't waste their time or money purchasing a car from a dealership that doesn't do right by their customers.

Got it diagnosed for a brake issue today which costs $500, but I won't put all the blame on the dealership since I should have gotten a pre purchase inspection. A tire pressure sensor came on as well a few days after I bought the car which again not great but not the worst thing. I went as far as reporting this to corporate- I am not one who lets these sorts of thing go by unreported, accountability starts when we speak up. We brought our vehicle in December for service and received a Toyota inspection documenting brake pads at 4.5 mm front and rear. Less than one month later, we returned and were told that all four brake pads were now 2 mm and required "immediate" replacement. A uniform loss of 2.5 mm across all four pads in one month is simply not plausible under normal driving conditions and was not accompanied by any symptoms (noise, pulling, vibration, or overheating). This sudden change was presented as urgent without any clear explanation of how measurements were taken, which seriously undermined trust. After waiting 4,5 hours for a $185 diagnostics, we were quoted extremely high prices for brake service and other repairs, including being charged 2.5 hours of labor for a job that typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour at most independent shops. These labor charges and cost breakdowns were not clearly disclosed upfront, and the pricing felt inflated well beyond reasonable market rates. What was most frustrating was the overall lack of transparency: -Inconsistent inspection findings compared to a prior Toyota visit -No clear explanation of measurements or methodology -Urgency and pressure without supporting evidence -Labor charges that did not align with the actual scope of work This experience felt less like an honest service consultation and more like price gouging and sales-driven recommendations. We expect better from a Toyota dealership. I would strongly encourage anyone coming here to: -Ask for written documentation -Question labor times and pricing -Get a second opinion from an independent shop Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend Alexandria Toyota based on our experience.
