I get a store can get really busy during Christmas time, but its not an excuse to rush at the register. Make sure you listen to the guest request carefully or ask for a repeat, it's better to get things right the first time to avoid complications. What really makes me feel dissatisfied with the service is that there was no effort to apologies. Infact furthering ignorance to the issue and deprioritizing was not fair. At no point did I try to escalate situations, I even blind trusted the cashier after a simple price check. It is humiliating already enough to ask for a correction when there is a line, don't make it worst. I hope that the poor quality of service is improved for future guests, maybe I will revisit this location again in the future. But for now I will only be shopping at the Riverside and Ontario location. read more

This store is definitely a hit or miss. Sometimes you can find good items, others times its unorganized and messy. Their workers can also be nice or rude. It depends on when you are going. They have a new return policy where if its after 30 days, you can only exchange and not even get store credit. read more

I guess Temecula is on its way in joining the rest of SoCal. The opening of H&M was the talk of the town for nearly an entire year. The store has recently opened to much fanfare. It's located across from Forever 21 on the 1st floor and the newly opened G by Guess on the 2nd floor. The store is two levels. 1st level is split 75/25 women and men's apparel while the entire 2nd floor it's devoted to the little ones (children/adult little people). The store is much more organized than other stores I've visited but that could be attributed to them being open for over a month. As far as foot traffic is concerned, it's nowhere near as busy as other H&M's. Maybe because they're new? But my guess is because it's Temecula. The Promenade itself barely scrapes by and it's not like the population has dramatically increased. I'm sure the store will do better than most of the stores in the mall but you should definitely make a monthly visit. Why? Because their clearance racks will be filling up in no time. I came here beginning Christmas time for Christmas shopping and got a lot of deals here! I think it was around the time they just opened. I was able to get my husband a lot of cotton t-shirts in different colors for $5 each! Not for anything fancy, but for him to lounge around the house in. I found a suit jacket for myself for $25 and I usually come here for my daughter's clothes now since they have a rather cute selection of baby clothes. There's an upstairs and a downstairs to this place and granted, it's not as big as the H&M in Boston or New York City, but this will do in the meantime! How do they not have a dress code here for their employees. I got checked out by one of the employees and she was wearing a mini skirt. This girl was working upstairs in the kids area and she was so close to exposing herself everytime she would turn around to do something. This is absurd, I shouldn't have to worry about an employee accidentally exposing herself to my children while we're out shopping. read more

I went to buy a long sleeve shirt on the sign it said all shirts on the rack were 14.99 went to ring it up and they were at 34.99 it wasn't just one shirt that had this price they didn't want to honor it was well. Checked other shirts on the same rack they were all different prices. read more

Love this location, and found the staff helpful when I asked for help. I did see a customer being very rude about a return, and she had no receipt either. I went in today 9/19/20 to purchase some socks for my toddler. We were in the upstairs children department of this H&M. I was in there a few weeks ago and found the size I needed right away and the male associate working at the time was great. Today when I went in I was struggling to find the size I needed in a full bin of socks and saw there were other styles in the size but not in the one I was looking for. The store was empty and the bin is near the register, the associate just stood behind the counter without offering any help. She didn't greet us either. My husband walked in a little later and said for me to just order them online if I couldn't find them. The associate not once asked if we needed help or said goodbye and as we walked out I told my husband I would be ordering online instead of returning to the store. I used to work retail a few years as a store manager and customer service was our top priority, we made sure to give great service so that customers came back and it made the atmosphere more enjoyable. This was about 30 min before closing which I understand some employees might just be ready to go home, but this is also a big reason why people prefer online shopping over in store. It's a bummer to see this generation of younger employees that don't care to help a customer out. read more

They refused to exchange a gift I received WITH TAGS ON and never worn. I even have the usps shipping label, but don't have the receipt. Even though on the website says I'm able to exchange items without a receipt as long as it's equal or less value. Who reviews H&M right? Well me! Because I am so weirded out with my interaction with them recently that of course I would want to share. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and picked up a shirt or two for my son. At the counter I was told that they ran out of H&M bags to put my purchased items in, and all they have were clear trash bags on a roll. I said eewww uh no, that's just ghetto and I'll be walking around in the mall for the next 2 hours and I will not be walking around with a trash bag for crying out loud! So I cancelled my purchase. They did not give me a receipt of the declined transaction and said I was good to go. I logged in to my credit card before I left the store and there were two "pending" purchases against my account. The manager, who can barely keep her eyes open from the weight of her false lashes, seemed like she was trying to give me attitude (If she did I didn't really care, I was just focused on my card), She said that there's really nothing they can do about it as it was cancelled on their end. At least she (hesitatingly) allowed me to take a picture of the voided receipt. Apparently, Im not supposed to have a copy. So but yeah that was a weird experience, weird like "stranger things" weird. read more

I was Christmas shopping for my teen girls and had them take pictures of what they liked. I went into the store and a lot of the clothes looked so similar. Dan came over and helped me look for the clothes and even noticed the differences in some of the things I almost bought and helped me get the right ones.... soooo helpful!!!! This H&M store is the most recent addition to Promenade Temecula and I think they did a pretty good job complimenting the Forever 21 they built a few years back. While I have personally yet to find something that I like in the Men's department, I was able to find 3 outfits for surprisingly under $20 for my baby sister a few weeks back. Another bonus is that when the escalators in the mall are broken, the one inside H&M is working almost 99% of the time! read more

I am completely blown away. This is the first time I've ever been in one of these stores and a friend had recommended it but I was severely disappointed. The clothing was more like Ross quality at triple the price. Everything was just disappointingly low quality and whenever I found something that I was interested in I was shocked at the price. This alone would not inspire me to leave a bad review. My friend went into the dressing room to try on clothes. The employee in charge of the fitting room-Shane- was INCREDIBLY rude. My friend asked him if he would quickly grab her a smaller size of pants and he explained that he didn't know where to find them and so she told him where they were and then he said that they were almost closed so no he wouldn't get her some. It was so rude. Then she finished trying stuff on and he stood in front of us and loudly asked into his walkie when he should close the fitting rooms. It was clearly directed at us. That's extremely unprofessional and rude. I will never come to another H&M again. Ever. I can't believe they don't train their employees for basic customer service. Unbelievable. read more

It's okay here. I really like their escalator, much closer to my work than the food court one since I only have 30 minutes for my lunch I don't want to waste my time walking to the escalator. The store is always really clean and the employees are always very helpful. I can't say I've shopped here often but they have some great deals on Black Friday and my boyfriend always likes to look at the men's section. Overall I think if its your style it's a great store, good selection good prices. read more

They don't like to help out a customer. I get it I work in retail too and all you want to do is put all the go backs away! But when a customer needs help funding an item or different size it's you're job to help. He was very short with me, made no eye contact, had rude tone, and was very quick to recite the company policy just to get me out of his face. Workers are not very helpful and ignore the fact that there are shoppers in the store. They seem to be off in their own world....I do not know exactly with what. I went in to see if they could assist me with finding a certain size for some boots, they just told me to go find them in the store, that there were several displays of the boots. I went back to the counter, there was a long line of people and only one cashier. I asked if they could find the boots from another store and have them shipped to their store. The employees seemed as if they didn't want to take the time in assisting me and kind of blew me off again. I love this store, but it seems Management needs to hire some NEW people that are friendly or whip these kids into shape! I would much rather drive all the way to Ontario even though this one is down the street from me. At least I will get better service there. read more

No sales associates were around to help us as we had a return and we had to go searching for someone to help us. Finally this store made it to Temecula. The first H&M store I been to was in SF in '05. I was like this store is cool so I purchased a shirt. Now i'm like, they made the mens clothes smaller or fitted where it don't fit anymore. The Temecula store is a two story store where you will find kids and youth items on the second and mens and womens on the first. You will find outstanding prices on their clothes. read more

My wife and I went to this store and I decided to go to a different store. After my wife was done shopping and ready to pay for her items, she called me on my phone and told me that I need to go back to H&M so I can stand in line for her due to a long line and she is having a serious back pain. So I went to the store all the way from MACY's and only to find out there was only ONE CASHIER with SIX people in line and then it became 7, 8, 9, 10 PEOPLE in LINE! I stood up in line for about 5 minutes and asked the cashier if she can get help with a second cashier, she tried calling somebody to help her out but nobody was available. The only time she got help is when this cashier had a question about an item. Two employees passed by and still this lone cashier did not get any help and there was still ten people in line! When I asked for the store manager the cashier herself does not know the location of the manager.
